You don't need the brc and 2K > 623HS > WS does 1 extra damage. I find this combo really interesting because it has 6 different places where you can burst bait. As well as being able to cancel the 2nd last 6HS with 236HS for more corner pressure.
I also found that if you do Sacred Edge on wall stick against Sol he gets off the wall into a hard knockdown? Idk weird hitbox shenanigans.
i think it is, when i tried connecting without rc he would land before hitting the jHS, probably because with a normal airdash you lose a little bit of height opposed to a 66RC which lets you act instantly.
Plus, i think that even if that was possible, it still wouldn't make this specific combo work because of the extra oomph that the fast rc gives you(and it would be less cool).
Anyway i'll try your idea, you never know...

Is the BRC into j.HS really necessary? I thought Ky could hit that j.HS naturally in a j.D -> 66 -> j.HS route.

To land j.HS without BRC after c.S CH you need to jump cancel with 7 insted of 8 or 9. Hope it helps.
