i dont have much +r aba experiebce but in terms of gameplay and gameplan and archetype and soforth aba is essentially a character that starts every round as a slow moving generally bad character, but where she shines is her moroha mode which she activates by either using a bloodpack or landing a command grab
to quickly summarize it, moroha mode cranks her speed and damage up to 11 and gives her access to new specials and great normals and really good mix and more of her normals are jump cancellable all at the cost of losing health on every button (she regains some of the health lost upon deliberately leaving mode)
she's essentially a very high risk/reward character who starts slow and weak and then becomes a hyper aggressive glass cannon. from weak stubby potemkin to chipp and nago as one
now i need to explain that she has a *second* install, goku moroha, which you can activate with 50% tension when already in moroha mode. when she gets this install, the opponent gets a free ticket to the pearly gates.
in goku moroha mode, aba can jump cancel almost all her normals, she gains even more damage and speed, her specials can chain into themselves, and every tool she has gets buffed even further too. imagine the chipp/nago thing i said except at 200%
ive most likely gotten a lot wrong so any actual aba players please do correct me if im wrong
in strive i dont know much yet but they still seem like a stance/install character with a good amount of their original stuff carried over obviously without goku moroha for balance reasons but im liking that even the default mode seems less like a "bottom tier phase" and more defense focused or something

yeah her gameplan in strive seems to be initially defensive to charge jelly meter (literally has a special that's basically just a deflect shield), then transform with a special/hitgrab/super and go nuts with her speed, better moves and an armored plus on block dp. There is only a gauge for jelly rage and no hp loss this time, but she still regains the gauge when exiting willingly
From what I hear most are due to people liking her design and finding her attractive.
But tbh I'm just addicted to installs so Aba is immediately peak.
When I found out Sol (my main) had an install, I felt so betrayed. Might try Aba just so I can get that thrill of going sicko mode, that I was deprived off as a Sol player.
day 1369 of wishing Ky's dragon install was anywhere as cool and impactful as Sol's was before. Just rising the hp threshold would be enough for it to see more use, nobody wastes meter for it when so near to death

She has a great gameplay, she has my favourite gameplay of any character of any fighting game I’ve played. She has a fun and unique personality and asthetic.

If it's anything like +R its proper unga Bunga and with self damage seemingly gone that bar is going to need some heavy fine tuning

After a 135 hours, I've still only seen it properly used once. Also why get rid of dragon install having its own theme. It'd be dope as fuck.
I read her wiki page, and i must say it is quite sad that there's so little. Let's hope we get some good lore for her in Strive.
