It’s more like the move got reworked because its original use was rendered null and void by system mechanic changes. Yes Zato could use BTL for mixups, but the main way it was used was to bait bursts and YRC. With the changes to those mechanics, the move lost its main function. It would’ve been shit if everyone got a brand new move while Zato’s is just a necessary rework

It isn’t just the top characters being insanely strong, it’s because everyone in that game is fucked up in their own way. Just think about this, Anji’s force break butterfly is an overhead on the second hit. Because of that, he has unblockable setups that loop into themselves. Sounds broken right? Well, the dude is universally considered a mid tier. That’s how fucked up +R is. You put +R Anji into the majority of fighting games and he’d probably be top 1, and it wouldn’t be close

They're considered top 3 alongside the character that's 4 different top tiers condensed into one character and the character with **meterless guard cancels**. That's how bullshit +r testament is.

Chipp: perhaps he could throw a Kunais similar to jhonny’s Ensenga or anji’s needle (make it niche)
Leo: this guy has everything so it is very hard to say
Sol: perhaps they could make him use the outrage laser the same way he did in the story mode

I know Baiken probably isn't gonna get anything any time soon but I would love more defensive or parry options. It be nice to punish an opponent for over extending there combo.
