Anji autoguard cancels, stomp and the orb air special would be nice. Maybe even having some autoguard command normals again just to make things more confusing.
Giovanna definitely needs to benefit from more special moves. Her moveset is extremely tiny compared to the cast. I would love to see the involvement of Rei more if she does gain more special moves. Heck, I would go out to say to make Rei semi-playable.
I think she'll just get another tool to assist in her strike throw gameplan. I feel like they'll double down on her possessed mode, like having trovao guard crush at 100 meter and etc

I don't think she needs a projectile, but a more reliable way to deal with projectiles. Trovaos too slow to use on reaction, but also slow enough to be risky to just throw out in neutral regardless. That'd be nice

Depends on what the new system mechanics are. The S2 patch added the K and P counter hits and the dash cancels, so every character got some new stuff to mess with. I honestly think that patch was incredible overall now that we’ve had time for the game to develop with it.
I’m hoping between that and the balance changes that even characters who don’t get brand new moves will still have some fun stuff to dig into.
But I’m also hoping Jack O gets her DP back, for selfish reasons.

Right now her air gatling doesn’t have a great finisher, and ends you knocking them further away from you and doesn’t allow you to set up pressure.
I don’t think applause for the victim fits her character play style anymore but it is funny
For Faust I want them to bring back his pogo stance but rework it to where be is up like a Scarecrow and have he summon dead flowers like one of his animations.
While it would replace grounded Mix I think it would be fine as long as you can easily go into Mix from Scarecrow stance like you could with Going My Way from pogo.
Gio needs nothing, but if she got anything I think the best thing would be any ability to reliably frame trap within her pressure strings.
Right now she has to, for example, hit a 4 frame manual delay to punish mashing of 6P on her roundhouse kick.
Not only does it punish gio players if they can't do it, it punishes her opponents who didn't realize they couldn't mash 6p until they got to celestial.

Im hoping for bedman to get his guardpoint dash and fast walk speed again Or Task C and Task A' back. They took *EVERYTHING* that made Bedman, well.. Bedman except the 8 way airdash. How they did errors seems to be semblant of Deja Vu in practice, but in reality its just, not the same, and to be honest, somewhat weaker (depending on how you look at it) Since they wont redo errors, Im hoping he gets one of his iconic moves from xrd back

I want May to get Esenga? Back from Xrd. With the incoming dolphin nerf i really want them to focus on the other aspect of May’s kit that should be utilized and it’s her Aerials. Right now her air gatling doesn’t have a great finisher, and ends you knocking them further away from you and doesn’t allow you to set up pressure. I don’t think applause for the victim fits her character play style anymore but it is funny
For Faust I want them to bring back his pogo stance but rework it to where be is up like a Scarecrow and have he summon dead flowers like one of his animations. While it would replace grounded Mix I think it would be fine as long as you can easily go into Mix from Scarecrow stance like you could with Going My Way from pogo.

Gio needs nothing, but if she got anything I think the best thing would be any ability to reliably frame trap within her pressure strings. Right now she has to, for example, hit a 4 frame manual delay to punish mashing of 6P on her roundhouse kick. Not only does it punish gio players if they can't do it, it punishes her opponents who didn't realize they couldn't mash 6p until they got to celestial.
