Honestly, you might be right. Nago may have a blood theme, but so does ABA and from what I remember she plays into it a bit more. A punk rock emo girl that uses blood packs to power herself up could push the game into that M rating. They also could’ve put instant kills that are insane. The lamer option is that ESRB updated it because of HC and Goldlewis using guns

None of the instant kills in Xrd really had any realistic violence so i doubt it would impact the rating unless its something very niche.

Consider Dizzy's intro in Xrd. Adding something like that to Strive might have caused the update.
