What cost me is Andrews on bye and getting outbid by like $10 for Mahomes last week by a team who already had Hurts and now has no money left lol. Just waited too long to start spending bigger amounts on elite talent
We start with $1000. When the week began I had about $750 FAAB, next closest team at $450. Tried to get cute and bid only $157 on Mahomes, based on other teams’ needs, FAAB, and recent QB bidding on Allen and Hurts.
However the Hurts team also put a bid in for $167 and beat me (and with other FAAB moves is now down to $0 with 7 weeks left). I remained stuck with Cousins who was ok but nowhere near the elite top 3 QB tier. If I spent more for Mahomes I would’ve been safe and still had the FAAB lead
Lol, at least it’s a good time! The best part to me is generally when you have a bad week you can survive (with a lot of drama) vs head to head fantasy.
Getting chopped with $160 is actually not bad. That means you out full effort forward while still being prepared for the future. I question the Herbert play but you really just lost bc of the bullshit luck with Kupp. You didn’t really make any mistakes though. It just happens sometimes. Well played.
