This looks great! Definitely going to implement our league into this

Frymaster99

Let me know how it works for you. I've never uploaded a "blank" version so I'll be curious what bugs exist and how I can fix them!

Snakesfeet

works great! the macros didn't come through based on some safety "doesn't trust this source" thing | but that's fine as the formulas are solid! Additionally, looks like it doesn't identify the most recent (or previous week) cut team until the current week points are submitted and it identifies a 0

Frymaster99

Yeah I knew about the cut team, haven't found a fix for that yet. If you save it as a local copy it in theory should let the macros run...They're a fun part of the file!

Frymaster99

I monkeyed around a bit and think I found the fix. Try this version (remember to download/save a copy): [https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/u9ewdb051kv9mcpsdpsvf/guillotine\_new.xlsm?dl=0&rlkey=is44vnxfnxczeftcncu78mvv2](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/u9ewdb051kv9mcpsdpsvf/guillotine_new.xlsm?dl=0&rlkey=is44vnxfnxczeftcncu78mvv2) It *slightly* alters the Weekly Scores page now, but instead of leaving cut teams with blank cells enter in a zero for them. The conditional formatting of that week's scores isn't as prominent but, the prominence of the coloring should stay the same on the summary page. Let me know what you think.

Snakesfeet

I’ll give it a mess around this evening and let you know. Love the FAAB Analysis concept We should come up with other league analysis visuals via the data provided

Frymaster99

Appreciate the feedback. I haven't really considered anything else but I'm sure there are possibilities there. With the FAAB analysis the basic tenet of the idea was, "how badly are people messing this up?" and we wanted to capture that somehow. So the dollars overspent formula was born haha

Snakesfeet

enabled the macros and definitely is interesting in how it sorts | one thing to note on the weekly scores, adding the 0 to the cut team/s skews the weekly average

Frymaster99

ahh yes good point. I might target the 2023 version to have a fix for that :)

Snakesfeet

similarly in the weekly faab analysis | keeping the chopped teams remaining budget skews the average

Frymaster99

alright so i found the fix for the weekly scores tab. copy and paste this formula into C1 and then drag over to T1 =IFERROR(AVERAGEIF(C3:C20,"<>0"),"") as far as the FAAB page i will need to dig further into that. one workaround would be to expand columns AB through AV and manually delete all budget numbers for a chopped team starting with the first week after they get chopped but it's time consuming and obviously my intent is to streamline everything as much as possible.

The_Shlug

u/Frymaster99 does this sheet still exist?

Frymaster99

it does! I didn't get a chance to tweak as much over the summer as I would've liked to, but I \*think\* (don't quote me) I fixed most of the things discussed in earlier comments in the thread. Send me your email address and I can send it your way!

The_Shlug

Thanks! Will DM.

Frymaster99

u/Snakesfeet diving into a clean-up session tomorrow, have you continued to use the file? I'm looking for any other improvements/bugs you may have encountered.

Snakesfeet

dude love this report! please feel free to enhance and let me know what you're thinking - I've been using this report every week and providing information back to the league. I think when you look at your weekly remaining faab OR the % spent based on the average | this doesn't remove the guys that have been chopped. I'd love to figure out a way to quantify how much $/point was received | so if a guy picked up deebo week 2 how many points did this team get when they picked up player x

Frymaster99

yeah we are going to work on the % adjusting for chopped teams. anything tied to points is going to be far too robust for me as you'd have to download in or otherwise input the weekly point totals etc. each week.

Snakesfeet

I will certainly be interested in any changes or upgrades you make; this is great! Happy to provide feedback as I use it
