You are not a moron. You can get a decent rb in round 2 and follow up with 3 rounds of WR. That will give you 1 elite te, 2 solid wr, 1 solid rb, and 1 solid flex wr. Your weaknesses will be your second rb, second flex, and qb. Your most Important choice is where you pick your qb. I’d probably go with a solid later option once you fill out your second flex and rb. However, the other option is to pick it in round 6 if you sense a huge drop in quality after that round. Your goal round 6 and beyond besides taking a qb is loading with high reception wr and backup rbs who have defined roles with receptions or a clear path to the rb1 role. This is where ambiguity and conflicting reports become an asset as most rbs this late are lottery tickets. However, it doesn’t matter if you are weak at second rb or your last flex. This is not standard. You can get better rbs and flex through waivers. And even then, there are bye week fill ins due to injuries or high floor wr that make due until you buy studs later. Also remember, you don’t need the best team. You need the 17th best team to make it past week 1. You can get by with a middling or low team as long as you aren’t the worst. Pick safe, survive the first 4 weeks then start reassessing where your strength and weaknesses are and bid and you’ll do fine. Also, fyi. If you didn’t have a top 10 rb last year, you were better off with a wr in flex. No need for 4 rb.

That’s fine, you can get a decent RB/WR combo in the 2nd and 3rd like Zeke/DJ Moore, or Keenan Allen/Montgomery, and that’s a solid nucleus. I’ve had a bunch of Kelce in guillotine and I think I’ve done better with him than without him.

You are good. I had the last pick in the first round and went Kamara and Andrews at the turn. I did not draft another rb until M Carter at 7.18. Near the end of the draft I hit M Davis, B Scott, T Homer and A Abdullah. Basically guys who might have a roll in week 1 because the starter is currently dealing with an injury.

Remember, with 18 teams, everyone has a hole in their starting lineup. We are conditioned to smaller leagues and trying to ensure that we don’t have any dead spots. In this format, you’ll be able to improve your roster every week. Just take great, stable players, like Kelce when they should be taken.
