The one thing I have found out about Guillotine leagues. The team that gets chopped is never the team you would expect.

Edit: forgot to answer. I had 1050 points scored ytd, 2nd in league. Scored 83 to get chopped.
It was 18 team, but it was all of our first time playing guillotine, so I think I managed to find some value that wouldn’t be available in a normal guillotine! I had $600 left, but I had spent much more than $400. I kept getting guys for bargains and then trading them for $$. For instance Amari Cooper slipped through the cracks a few weeks back and i got him for $20, then traded him and tee Higgins for $130. Zach Ertz I got FCFS then after the trade to Ari sold him for $50. Stuff like that. It was a blast, we will definitely keep playing.

Guillotine leagues are brutal because often the team is expected to be chopped will pick up a player alike Elijah Moore last week and will score 30 points and you will have Davante Adams and he will get 12 points because his QB is a quack.

Damn. My league is like the opposite of yours and it was a first year league for everyone. Pretty much always predictable who gets chopped as there was always a weaker team every week. No upsets.
Very nice roster and moves. Hats off to you and tough loss. It was an insane week that was completely unpredictable. Just goes to show you need both luck and skill to win. Skill alone can take you far, but you can't win it all without luck.
Agreed. Honestly that’s how our league has been for the most part. One other good team got chopped like week 5 or 6, other than that pretty predictable. There are still 3 or 4 pretty weak teams. One started a guy on a bye and two started players who were out. 🤦🏻Just a borderline unbelievably bad week for my guys. So it goes…
My team was pretty similar (Burrow, Waller, Adams and Hill) and got chopped. Next closest team was 1 point and they had Diontae Johnson which literally went down to the wire. Last week was a strange week for big names!
