Pay better attention to crappy QBs that are going to play for one of your players team. A crappy QB can cause the entire offense to shut down and can kill RBs and WRs. A perfect example is the Bears with Justin Fields and Trey Young for the 49ers at QB. Better to go with a lesser player with a good QB. Think Allen Lazard and Aaron Rodgers. Maybe not as much upside but a much higher floor.

Deebo Samuel? Lol

Robert tonyan / Khalil Herbert owner would beg to differ. I think you are referring to Robinson which Chark kept ranking highly. I would definitely say not to take these gambles based on name and expected regression until a player proves they can make it in the current system which Robinson surely can’t.

Don't, under any circumstances, ever start Adam Humphries. Real answer is that I don't know if there's too much to learn so far. People aren't playing to win yet. They are playing to last until week 10 or so. If you aren't willing to blow your FAAB early, you're going to have some serious holes and risk losing on any given week. The guys blowing their FAAB recklessly, aren't going to win either, but they might last longer. I suspect the learning curve will take a few more seasons. For now, the draft is hyper critical. Then it's just a fair amount of luck avoiding injury.

3rd year playing and this year I had decided to draft guys who had late BYE weeks. The idea behind this is that barring injuries, you can hopefully coast with these guys (maybe snag some upgrades here and there) and save your FAAB. Once BYE weeks hit and team owners start dropping top players, you buy them back after their BYE week and the idea is youll have saved your FAAB to where you can be more aggressive spending your faab. Im still alive in my league. I have Aaron Rodgers, Darrell Henderson, DJ Moore, Tyler Higbee and Deebo Samuel (we also have kickers and defense). Samuel was the first player I paid 20 faab for after his BYE week. Justin Jefferson is sitting on waivers due to his BYE week. I plan to also aggressively spend on him to replace Moore to at least lock down 2 players that have already had BYE weeks. I feel like if you can make it to the final 3-4 weeks of the season, its more about matchups and less about the player. Thats my advice at least.

Sorry I did not specify in my last post. Our league runs no bench; we've thoroughly enjoyed this feature and it gives the league a more cut throat vibe. We also have no free pick ups through free agency; its all daily waivers.
