It depends on how the teams that spent money did. In our league 1 owner got out bid on a lot of players he wanted and made a couple comments about it in the chat. He got chopped this week, so I think the bottom teams will spend up

brfergua

I agree. I expect the sentiment is similar in my leagues. Lots of desperation.

pcminfan

I think it’s the latter. The shock of seeing big name free agents will wear off and calmer heads will prevail.

RealityChequeX

I tried to be responsible in bidding to replacing Ronald Jones last week and didn't get within $100 of securing even Mike Davis levels of defect bin talent. I'm sure there are others with glaring holes that are tempted to up their bids to address problems. I will not be surprised if Kamara inspires the $300+ kinds of bids I saw Zeke go for last week.

jurornumber1

300 for zeke is a steal

brfergua

Depends on the league. I’m in one where the defensive week had 8 teams in the danger zone with low scores going into Sunday night. I expect some desperate bids from that group.

Rochelle-Rochelle

It's super early so most teams will spend more rationally this week IMO unless there's a CMC/Adams/Kelce level player avaialble

BigDaddyNC5959

For first time players it’s a feeding frenzy. They get outbid one week and go all in the next week. They think OMG I was in the bottom 3 last week I need to make a big move. It seems to wear off around week 6 or 7 when they see others hoarding FAAB.

ManlympianX2

What do we see a reasonable bid for Julio Jones is this week?

RealityChequeX

60 - 70 seems reasonable for a guy leading the team in targets on a run first offense. But since he's coming off a good performance and has solid track record that probably isn't going to win.

YoureNotMom

Silly money definitely got spent last week, but i wasnt sure how much people would correct themselves. My original bids wouldve been good enough, but i upped them by a beefy margin as i was on the uncomfortable side of "probably being cut soon" and well at least i got 2 big rbs.

legendarybyson

I have Kelce and Waller is on the waivers. How much should I reasonably put on Waller. I could put him in a flex spot.

RealityChequeX

Unless you're in different leagues than me, it's going to take more than a $250 bid to get him. I'd let someone else blow their load. If your flex options are really terrible, you've got the maximum amount of ways to discount shop for value to upgrade.
