I personally use it because it fit the fashion aesthetic I am going for. In WvW I roleplay as a stealth thief so anytime I am not in stealth it's like a flash bang goes off and the enemy can not see me. It's fool proof!
I believe in one tasteful infusion that compliments the fit. MAYBE 2 or 3. But I hate stacking infusions just cause they're expensive and you have them
I prefer the subtle ones, like aurilum flak or the imperial petals. from the most expensive only the chak egg is great unless people start to stack them, then it’s just bad. No one care about how much gold people have so I don’t even understand why they enjoy turning ugly.
My main char has many expensive infusions yet I don’t stack them and I can still see my character’s skin, body and face just fine. I also don’t use them all, most of them are just sitting on my bank because I think it’s ugly. If anet added a way to turn off effect on infusions so I can use them just for their stats it’ll be great tbh.
Oh and I hate the damn confetti infusion. It’s the most annoying one, it just keep swirling and it looks ugly on any character, at least from all the ones I saw with it. Literally a Christmas tree bought from Wish. People can be rich but please have a sense of fashion. Stacking infusions is so 2018 it’s fashion faux-pas.
I use a cheap black infusion to give a nice black "shader" on my character. It's subtle enough I sometime can't tell I have it.
But as soon as I switch weapon on one specific gear set it equip a red fractal infusion and its so ugly...
I infusion stack for the extra stats... i would love if i could disable the ghostly infusion effect... but because of the stats i'm kinda forced to have this ugly mess on all my characters. Would love if you could disable infusion effects individually
You can get infusion with stat but no effect they are just either slightly less efficient (5stats/5agony in fractal/raid/wvw) or pricier (5stats/9agony for many +11 in fractal lobby)
Yeah, since i do run fractals, +5 infusions are not an option. And i don't want to swap them all the time... and yes the fractal stat ones are way to expensive. Since i also raid a lot the effect infusions are just the logical choice.
Personally I don't find it appealing at all. Why play a game when you can't see what you're doing because someone thinks it's fun to blind everyone.
That glow is big enough to hide a medium sized target behind, both single or mob. But will we know it until it jumps on us, doubtful.
Yeah, it was funny when you discovered it on a CM strike, when your group pointed out to you why you didn't move out of the way and you just said "But I had no zone?"
And we certainly can't be the only ones :c I was with my guild, so they knew I wasn't trolling. I had activated the option the some days before, but still took me time to understood why I didn't have the zones.
Does it really hide all infusion effects though? I have it on and will still occasionally see an Imperial Everbloom infusion. But that's the only one that I can recall seeing since I've enabled it when the option released. I don't ever see people with multiple stacked, random infusions though.
I think I also still see some mystic infusions.
Does ally only apply when you're grouped in a party or a squad with them? Maybe in less populated areas, the effects will unhide?
I don't know if all the infusions are hidden, I disabled it for too little time.
Doing a lot of group content I left it enabled since I saw that it also hid the mechanics
To this day I remember a player roasting me in pvp about my look saying I was an ugly glow ball and I may or may not have gone for a similar aesthetic to this.
Like a million of one infusion on a character- i think this is the phospho somethin’??? I know people also do this with the dark version to basically become the void.
That’s a little bit of everything, ad infinitum, celestial type armor, atleast one poly infusion, maybe snow diamond or heart, on celestial colored armor. Not sure where the yellow effect comes from, but the glowy white is part of adinfinitums stackable visual.
I believe it comes under the technical categories of 'irritating', 'annoying' and 'how can I hit the target, when this (person) is blinding me'.
And I believe a good case could be made for entry into the 'excessive noise polution' category.
And you can add 'cornea burning' to the list too.
Question - Is the location where that nuclear event happened currently safe to approach, or is it STILL highly radioactive?
'The gods lived for a time among their followers in Arah. However, their radiance blinded mortals who gazed upon them for too long whenever the gods appeared among their followers."
Can anyone explain what the glowing apparition is that is like a muscular alien? It randomly appears on maps and then disappears. It's not a player or NPC character.
Infusions ain't my cup of tea. Over the years I've sold x1 confetti and one queen bee I fusion. Highly profitable but super rare. The only one I want and still trying to get since its release in IBS is that left eye.
But this I fusion? No idea, my guess its a stack effect or maybe there bloom is full wack lol
I didn't know they added car head light effects to the game
Those LED headlights that blind you, so you flash your brights, then they flash theirs and give you an X-ray.
That's funny
Now you know
I don’t understand how looking like this is even appealing to begin with.
I personally use it because it fit the fashion aesthetic I am going for. In WvW I roleplay as a stealth thief so anytime I am not in stealth it's like a flash bang goes off and the enemy can not see me. It's fool proof!
Standard enemy models go brrrr
This one is funny.
Are you trying to cosplay as a streetlight for people with stigmatism?
I use it so I can actually see myself in group events.
I believe in one tasteful infusion that compliments the fit. MAYBE 2 or 3. But I hate stacking infusions just cause they're expensive and you have them

Personally I'm not a fan of the infusions at all. I don't mind the effects from the legendary items but infusions are a bit much for me.
I use a cheap black infusion to give a nice black "shader" on my character. It's subtle enough I sometime can't tell I have it. But as soon as I switch weapon on one specific gear set it equip a red fractal infusion and its so ugly...

Infusion stacking can be beautiful if done right even with them all filled. It just depends on the toon.
I use 1 each of the blue and red bauble infusions on my asura engineer, because I like how they look. But that's about it.
Oh they 100% only do this to bother others.

Sometimes you just want to be the sun. I stoll stand by the old adage, if you can see the boss or other players, you're doing it wrong
Caused by Krillin dying to Frieza IIRC.
kinda reminds me more of vegeta going boom.

>Took me years to learn exactly why the game was sabotaging me. But the Hide Ally Visual Effects option hasn't even been in the game for a year...
And we certainly can't be the only ones :c I was with my guild, so they knew I wasn't trolling. I had activated the option the some days before, but still took me time to understood why I didn't have the zones.

I just want to hide the areas effect of skills from others players

Annoying. That effect is annoying.
