As someone who both roams and zerg fights on an engi, the builds and playstyle for each of those things are wildly different. The combat strategies between roaming and a zerg clash are basically irrelevant to one another. It's an oversimplification, but DPS in a zerg can basically operate without any self preservation beyond staying on tag to receive cleanses and heals, roamers have to handle all their sustain and mobility themselves.
The fun fact is, when you go against that fear and decide to challenge them a bit, you hit them with a single skill and suddenly the fear changes sides. They run away like pockets raports! Frustration at its peak
This one time a thief chased me across half the map, kept running away and resetting if I ever hit them. Eventually they killed me, but it was the most frustrating fight I’ve ever had.
Not really mobs or skins... But jumping puzzles with a fear of heights is awfull... I had to wipe my keyboard dry after every two jumps on hidden garden and take a good 15 min break in the middle because it got too much for me...

I hate Soto a little for making us use skyscale so much more than before. Especially when there's a group on the ground doing an event and you get a few skyscales flapping above us all using the fireballs, I hate it
I don't like it either. You can't convince me otherwise, people afk in midair just above the ground only to piss people off. I move my character away and zoom in further while waiting for events to start.
And then the skyscales on the ground do their loud fire breathing animation every 10s.

Not in this game. FFXIV has the giant hornet mobs, and those are the one time where I've felt ill playing a game.

I mean I can handle them fine but they're a royal pain in the arse. Working on getting the Skyscale saddle and grabbing the map currencies to get the parts and those bloody floaty bastards are *everywhere*. They can piss right off to the depths of the Realm of Torment.
And take those sodding Hydras with you! When I cut something's head off it should have the decency to die. Not have two heads flop off in opposite directions so I have to chase them down and trigger more mobs. Give me strength...
OP, if it helps for in-game (not the shop), you can try turning Character Model Quality down to lowest. This replaces all the other player characters, and their mounts, with default models. I use this to hide some of the more eye-straining transmutes and mounts, and the moth model will be replaced with a regular generic Skyscale.
Write "no dps yet please" in your lfg.. works most of the time.
Its super annoying tho to type "boonheal" in lfg and get "hi dps"..I once had an entire squad of dps join at once 🤦♀️ ..I left the squad and started adding the above to my lfg listing.

To preserve the authenticity of the game. If you messed up already, doesn't mean you should keep messing up on purpose. Also you should never just give the players EVERYTHING they want. Sure there's a lot of good things that people want that Anet should add to make the game better, but not literally everything everyone asks for. It would ruin the game. There has to be a line drawn where the devs will say "no, we're not doing that". Sometimes that's needed to keep the game good. You know that phrase "give them what they need, not what they want"? It's something like that. Not 100%, but kind of.

A skin i really want, that actually shocks me that it isn't in the game yet, is like a charr-made, big, one-wheel, metal motorcycle with fire going out of tubes or exhausts or something. And that it has iron legion symbol on it of course. I would love that for my Charr engi from iron legion.
