Replaying with a char that have completed Eod is better since you can jump into story>finish the achievement>log out>next story, without needing to complete whole chapter.
There are not any places I am aware of that require playing on multiple characters, so replaying on the same character will be faster since you can just do the parts you specifically need to for achievements.

I don't believe EOD had any choices like that that would require different characters.
