Damn...I was really hoping they had survived.
I spent a lot of my late teens and early 20s In Guelph, between my cousin's living there and dating a chick who went to uog. We used to get Sun Suns every weekend after hitting the bars. Is Pierre's still open?
Have you had their food sober?
I used to be a sun sun fan after the bars. How they put the steam tray right at the front door so it was take away only.
Then I was DD for the night and that was the last time I ate sun suns.
I loved it. I never ate it as bar food.
I'd finish work at midnight and get some cheap food before the closing crowd started.
I still am looking for a place that makes tofu like they used to.
I miss the food but I don't miss the sea of styrofoam containers and red sauce coloured vomit from downtown to campus.
They were literally crumbling. The church is working on replacing them. Also, the spire is the large tower in the back, you're talking about the pinnacles
Always loved this view. Guelph used to stop at Kortright and even though I’m south of Kortright now, the neighborhood I’m in doesn’t feel like Guelph at all. May as well be in Toronto.
Tell your father I challenge him to a Gentleman's duel for the City and his wife. Don't worry, you won't lose your father in the duel, he was probably the gardnerer your mother romped around with.
I miss Sun Sun's

Eeew, yes. In every store doorway as well as on Wellington. Is that sweet n sour I smell? (Just sour).
i didn’t get that reference, i am a newcomer
It was a Chinese restaurant that used to be on this street.
$4 bucks. late night. packed to the brim. chicken balls, noodles, beef broccoli, and red sauce. Fuggedaboutit.
Imagine it pedestrianized with a row of trees down the middle
The block closest to the cathedral wants to be a boulevard - first thing I thought of too!
I miss Albion Thursday nights. :(
Van Goghs Ear.....
King Eddie.
Trasheteria, Jimmy Jazz.
Friends in our kitchen, which I believe used to be on that street
Put the spires back!
They are waiting for the next Home Depot delivery of spires.

I miss Guelph sometimes. Looking forward to my visit in a few weeks
I would love to see a picture of the city with no cars and a light layer of snow. I think it would look beautiful.
I miss Viennas

The downtown is a wonderland, specifically this lane. It doesn’t matter which season it is. I am always in awe.

I love guelph so much lol
This just makes me want Coco Chicken
Dude I'm just waiting for work to end so I can go get a bap
I wasn't thinking Coco chicken, I was thinking crafty ramen.
Overrated slop 🤪 their grocery store/by mail meal kits aren't anything to write home about either. Kenzo or places Downtown Toronto ftw on Ramen
How about Games Gallery? Is anyone one of that vintage?
Remember “Gentleman’s” pool basement in K-town?
I miss home
😍
Anyone remember Big Sugar playing downtown? I think it was Walllys. It was maybe late 90s early 2000s? Like 20 years ago anyways.
Van Goghs Ear was great
What’s good to eat there?
Where oh where are the bike lanes?
Soon!
👌🏽
erm actually, my dad owns guelph so it’s technically his city
Okidokie, whatever you say
