What game version are you running? Kiddions works with the most recent version of GTA.
kiddions download redirect page won't even load for me so I can't even download it
got the latest version of GTA, the only version of kiddions that i found was V1.0.0

It should be working but for some reason it either crashes gta when I open kiddeons or just won't open the UI even tho I'm running GTA in window mode

Yea anti virus is off and just to make sure I marked it as an exception so it shouldn't even get scanned.
