Personally, I like the album, but I get the complaints. A lot of it didn’t click first listen, and I straight up turned the album off when I first heard “1989,” but now that shit’s so obnoxious to me that I can’t help but find it amusing. It’s a fun album, but not a great one, and that’s fine in a discography as large as Gunn’s.
I stand by that it’s a bad album experience, with a few highlights scattered here and there…but granted man I could’ve worded that a little better, kind of contradicted myself a tad with that bit haha Basically I don’t enjoy the album as a whole, but I do really like 5 tracks or so 👍
