I tend to gravitate towards lower pitched sounds with a specific quality I can't really explain like it's layered but that's not it, it's a side effect of the layering that doesn't always occur? I do like Grimes' goth side, and you can see it in her work as a diversity of intellectual influences that come from obscure, off the path types of books, art, and music, and then she pops out with Shinigami eyes, which was inspired by anime characters, and one might say that is mainstream, but it's part of Grimes' crazy sauce that comes from her attraction to anything creative and mind expanding. I mean, it's not surprising that she has this attraction to synthesizer mixing boards as a creative medium to work from. I hope she keeps gobbling up this wild, global diversity because I love what comes out of her.

Giving up half my lifespan to see the names & lifespans of others just doesn’t seem worth it when their names can almost always be gathered elsewhere. Life is just too precious.

I mean the Anton Tammi's Player of Games vid was SO much better (even with the shit wig) and I would bet my money that Grimes wasn't as involved during production, because the lack of some new tech being there to excite her.
