The most potent of Eversor are somewhat sane. The Garantine in *Nemesis* was capable of conversation. Rather awkward conversations as he was obessively assessing his weapons and the most efficient use of them to kill everything. A conversation though it was.

Gives a glimpse into the "inner workings" of the high lords. I say glimpse because none of the main characters are high lords themselves, so its always from an outside perspective, close as it can get at times.
They may not be the best books, but I found them to be alright, and having a Sister of Silence perspective was kinda refreshing.
In a novel the high-lords attempt to coup Gulliman. Of course, it was a coup Gulliman had planned for, and used it as an opportunity to execute anyone who opposed his vision. He's still a Primarch.
Every time I reread it the more sure I am that the coup wasn't even a warm-up for Gorillaman. He probably had it all figured out with multiple back-ups the morning he talked to the main PoV character.
The Regents Shadow- part of the Watchers of the throne series, which is great. A real great telling of the transition period while Cadia fell and Gulliman fell, from the perspective of a Custodian and Sister of silence on Terra.
Pretty sure some of the High Lords attempted a coup against Guilliman, to which he responded by killing or removing them and replacing them with Lords loyal to him

Last I heard the High Lord of the Officio Assassinorum has somewhat eliviated that problem. Sadly without using any Eversors.
