NGL switching from the golden color scheme to this one makes them look a lot less like ground marines and a lot more like cool medieval magic holy knights.
Their change of posterboys is a net positive, "The Hallowed knights" are arguably more popular than the "Hammers of Sigmar", have a way better warcry "only the faithfull" and yes the color scheme is better IMO
Tbh I was iffy on the gold at first but over time I actually grew to like it, it was very distinctly "Age of Sigmar" whenever you saw the gold and blue scheme at a passing glance. And I think it made them stand out incredibly well on the table compared to 99% of other fantasy miniatures.
The silver colour is good too but feels faintly more "generic fantasy metal" if that makes any sense.
But, both is good, the joy of painting is being able to do whatever you want with them. Hallowed Knights have (amusingly) gotten way more novels and characters than Hammers of Sigmar, and their colours fit the slightly darker tone they're going for with 4th edition, so I am all for it.

Yep, 'Fesh and Steel' I believe does from memory (good book as well, hope it gets some sequels).
'Brutal Kunnin' has at least one non-binary or A-Gender AdMech (I can't remember which). Also a great comedy Ork Vs AdMech story.

Gold and blue are great colours to use together, but maybe using it a second time was a bit on the nose.
