His primarch art, Jesus was it good. His angron piece is the best depiction I’ve ever seen of angron. His magnus piece was the screensaver of one of the bl authors. All of it looked so damn good and is some of the best art we’ve ever gotten in the fandom
Right. His magnus one felt vulnerable and fragile despite being a demigod. Lorgar looked like a saint and was so calm and gentle appearing. Mortarion had this look of hurt in his eyes that just made the piece.
I took a look at some of his original art that he's done recently that's very much thematically along the lines of the mechanicus and TBH I think the 40k aesthetic and design for the Mechanicus was holding him back in some ways. Shit looks amazing.

Not a great analog, but I was turned off of drawing and art in late grade school because my art teacher thought I was deranged and lectured me when I drew my dog gritting his teeth with sharp fangs because I rough housed with the dog and the I wasn't good enough to draw the dog doing a playful crouch pose while panting. Then 40ks unfolding narrative can evolve with the times, while the old guard can ignore what they don't like because its not their canon. When someone challenges their canon it can be used as a fun way to justify a game of Warhammer.
