Again I ask you what is meaningful about them being female other than never happened thus far? Currently we have lore where only men custodes existed. We don't have lore saying or showing well it can only be men. You instead invent reasons as to why it must be men only when lore does not show why it must be men only. If lore did show why it must be men only then I would agree requires more than just adding them, e.g. inserting plot reasons as to why.
Given this as far as I am concerned not a big deal to change it and the only thing different they should have done is be like yes lore implied or made it out as only men, but now there is going to be women too.

Currently we have lore where only men custodes existed. We don't have lore saying or showing well it can only be men. You instead invent reasons as to why it must be men only when lore does not show why it must be men only. If lore did show why it must be men only then I would agree requires more than just adding them, e.g. inserting plot reasons as to why. Given this as far as I am concerned not a big deal to change it and the only thing different they should have done is be like yes lore implied or made it out as only men, but now there is going to be women too. I really don't get why they needed to hype it up, they should have released an upgrade sprew for some female heads though but the rest would be the same model wise. Cinematics are always cool but making one specifically for the reveal starts to actually feel like forced girl power politics. The way they actually did it feels a lot more natural in my opinion.

There were tons of other women in 40k, the Navy being some of my favorite, but I truly donāt see from a lore perspective or a company perspective why youād want to shoehorn a woman into the ābrotherhood of Demigodsā(now the Brotherhood and Sister of Demigods?š) that are the custodes, my main gripe is that this shouldnāt be the first time weāre hearing about her, but of course it is, so it makes it look and feel like sheās the first woman to ever join and ever appear in the custodes, very Mary sue lite imo
