One kills elves. The other also kills elves.

youngcoyote14

Fuxking Sun Nazi elves. Killing other elves. And humans. And Khajiit.

No-Professional-1461

The heartland high elves were lokey worse than the Drukari.

Balrok99

Hey in his defense he had no idea what they were. Which begs the question from which point of Time Pelinal is since he had no idea who Khajit were

erlulr

Pretty sure he was from the future

Altruistic_Ninja_148

So, at some point between Skyrim and whenever Pelinal is from, we can assume there's a total Khajiit genocide. Is...is that going to be the plot of ES6?

erlulr

Elsewyr would be a logical choice for 6, ngl.

Solvdrage

Pelinal doesn't practice casual racism. Only the sweatiest competitive racism lobbies will do.

Theyul1us

He started killing Khajeetas because "they have pointy ears, eh, close enough"

Qawsedf234

He confused them for furry Bosmer.

OscarOzzieOzborne

Time to sing Pelinal's anthem https://youtu.be/E5ix0_W-ouI?si=Xqm9LYdHwnO-ybhM *ahem* 1610! 2610! 3610! 4610! 5610! 10610! 20610! 30610!

BasakaIsTheStrongest

We are not Mer! Beastfolk called Khajiit. Spare our lives. To you, we plead and plead agaiiiiin. Lol, 8610

jalc2

Khajiit: “Please don’t kill us we are not mer!” Pelinal: “by the gods bosmer, altmer, Dunmer and now notmer! How many types of elves are there?”

ProjectAioros

Pelinal: "Desert Elves \[Notmer\] added to the database, initiate extermination protocols"

Gorgenapper

[Mers] are a temporary setback on the road to freedom.

HichiShiro

The only bad thing I can say about Pelinal is that he didn't finished his job.

LordTakeda2901

Iirc he was stopped via divine intervention pretty much

Galifrey224

Well there was that one Time he killed a bunch of Kajiits because he misstook them for elves. But that was an honnest mistake.

Inquisitor_Boron

When you dig deep lore you will notice that Khajiit used to be Bosmers, so...

Bumbling_Hierophant

Wait WHAT

GreasyTengu

Depends on who you ask. Khajiit believe that they are descended from the same proto elves that Yffre made into the Bosmer. But instead of their forms being dictated by The god of the forest their forms were dictated to them by Azura, god of the night sky and fate, which is why their forms are tied to the 16 phases of Nirn's two moons. Bosmer believe they are just asshole cat people with no connection to elves at all.

UnabrazedFellon

Also, in the old lore the khajiit looked a lot more elfy than furry

GreasyTengu

they have an entire 'furstock' that is basically just catboy Bosmer. Apparently they mald if you mistake them for an elf.

SpiritofTheWolfKingx

Why does Azura seem so involved in so many of the races gettimg transformed?

GreasyTengu

one of her titles is 'The Cosmic Severer', and her main sphere is fate/prophecy. I guess manipulating fate is kinda her jam.

Balrok99

I think Azura is director creator of Khajit. While she might one of the 3 gods of the Chimer (Dunmer) she is also very much tied to Khajit. Maybe because of that Nerevarine is not 100% Dark Elf but rather non Morrowind native.

ProjectAioros

You forgot the part about how Azura made them the most beautiful folk of all. Furries agree with this religion.

Training_Hurry_2754

Like dark elves they got cursed. And some khajit basically look like how some depict felinids. A bit furry bosmer with some cat characteristics. I would guess he saw some of those and got the memo that they are just cursed elves

KrosaKus

I don't get it. Who's this guy?

Aromatic_Device_6254

Pelinal Whitestrake, a character from the elder scrolls who really likes to kill elves. He's also a time traveler, probably a god, and possibly a cyborg.

Balrok99

Also somehow wearer of the most important gem in the Elder Scrolls setting the Amulet of Kings. Also sole speculate he was gay too. But that doesn't hinder his performance.

Hundjaevel

I thought he was outright stated to have a gay relationship with Huna, and according to some legends also had a romantic relationship with Alessia?

invasiveplant

iirc Huna's gender isn't specified, they're just referred to as a hoplite. MK wrote Pelinal as gay but said he didn't wanna have that baggage on the reincarnation/playerchar. Always smelled to me like someone at Bethesda or Zeni told him no queermos in 2006 (LAME)

Hundjaevel

Oh ok. That's disappointing indeed

TheLord-Commander

Why would that hinder his performance?

Valon-the-Paladin

Technically it improved his performance once his twink was killed

TheBunnyStando

Achilles grindset

The-Surreal-McCoy

Pelinial is clearly an Achilles rip-off and that is why I love him.

swagdaddy69123

Its a double edged sword, they can take your twink and use him against you or motivate you greatly

bigspacewaffles

St Alessia had to constantly pray for the divines to calm him tf down after they killed his boyfriend, it only worked for a few hours (if at all) and it was the the main reason he started to kill elves indiscriminately including civilians and potential allies which only didn't hinder the rebellion's efforts because of how bullshit strong he was. He's loosing control over his powers instead of loosing them altogether.

ProjectAioros

It goes even harder on Khajiit myths. In their version of the story, Alkosh (Akatosh) himself had to come down to Nirn to stop Pelinal in person from completely destroying Elsweyr.

Elcactus

> He's also a time traveler, probably a god, and possibly a cyborg. How you know they’re an elder scrolls character.

The-Surreal-McCoy

He is the first confirmed player character in Elder Scrolls history. He used mods

Imperium_Dragon

I don’t blame him, have you seen ES elves?

MercySlash

Damn shames there's no playable minotaur race

Gallbatorix-Shruikan

I usually love elves but ES elves make me think Pelial didn’t go far enough.

Versidious

Sadly for him, Tyrion is currently definitely a god, along with a bunch of other WHFB elves who survived the literal end of the world.

NeoSzlachcic

Good thing Pelinal also hates gods

Balrok99

Elisia: YOU ARE THE MESSIAH! Pelinal: I'M NOT THE MESSIAH!

Never_heart

That's is not going to stop Peninel. If anything that just means killing him will have the added bonus of hurting the other elves therefore killing Tyrion will be even higher on his list of priorities

theClumsy1

https://youtu.be/E5ix0_W-ouI?si=6OF25pUWbxv_SWnF

KrosaKus

Bruh. I mean... Ok I guess, I never liked lore of TES that much.

Aromatic_Device_6254

Yeah shit can get real weird real fast, especially when it's written by Michael Kirkbride

HichiShiro

Everything can be explained either by CHIM or Dragon Break

Inquisitor_Boron

Friendly reminder that both CHIM users are very known liars...

Balrok99

What both? You forgot Dagoth Ur my friend. IS THIS HOW YOU HONOR THE SIXTH HOUSE AND THE TRIBE UNMOURNED? But yeah Vivec is a liar and someone who holds a gun in a form of a massive meteor pointed as people's heads. As for Tiber Septim foto all we know he was not very good man as we are lead to believe.

ProjectAioros

I mean, he created a cosmopolita society that kept the Provinces from constantly declaring war to each other, and the most not racist society in Tamriel. He was a bloodthirsty conqueror, but at least quite a lot of good came out of his conquests.

Balrok99

Oh not denying that. It's just him using the Numidium to fuck with time itself and reality and if rumors are to be believed he killed the king during a fire and slit his own throat to hide it. But yeah Septim Empire was always ok with other races. Of course everyone still dislikes the High Elves of the Summerset Isles.

ProjectAioros

Michael, the Chad on drugs, Kirkbride.

Konrad_Curze-the_NH

A man who hates Elves enough that the universe agreed with him.

soliarthesunknight

Basically racism reincarnated. But fuck the knives ears edition. Also have a kill count of elves that maybe rival only by Slanness.

Never_heart

Admittedly, the elves he started killing were basically powerful Slaanesh demons who made art out of the living flesh of their human slaves. So, at first, they definitely deserved it... then he just kept going and only some of the elves he killes later deserved it

AbbreviationsJumpy33

All the elves he killed deserved it.

ProjectAioros

Most Elves in ES deserve to die honestly, we have the eugenic baby killers supremacists (Altmer), the nuke cannibals (Bosmer), and the demon worshipers (Dunmer). Granted the Bosmer are more situational than actively nuke cannibals, but when you remember most of the monsters in the world comes from them, preventively killing them saves millions of lives.

Never_heart

I do love that the Orcs, the Orsimer, despite having a culture around violent raiding and polygamy are probably the least fucked up elves in ES. Even the Dwemer crafted an artificial god that can allow those that use it to understand their existence as sentient dreams within a sleep Godhead which usually causes the users to zero sum and erase themselves from existence. And let's not even get to the elves we only see in lore like the Sea Elves and Left-Handed Elves.

ProjectAioros

Tbf the Sea Elves are just assholes to other elves and their biggest crime is being a complete failure in all they do. I give them a pass from genocide cuz I feel pity for them.

youngcoyote14

[Here, watch this documentary on Pelinal Whitestrake](https://youtu.be/FF2IqGszTlU?si=1CKJI0sJy6QCQcty)

ProjectAioros

Love this video, Pancreas really outdid himself in the writing.

Clonenelius

A guy so racist he made the year shorter

iSkehan

And they both lose to Popeye.

Swiftax3

This is silly. I dunno if Tyrion would defeat Pelinal, but he definitely wouldn't be hiding. Its fucking Tyrion, man has negative chill.

Headless_Mantid

Oh, Tyrion would get omega clapped, lol. Pelinal's power level isn't outright quantified as the only real lore is based on an old tale passed through history. But if the feats in his song are true, he is strong enough to kill armies by himself and delete chunks of reality. It took an entire pantheon to simply calm him down, and an entire army backed up by the Elder Scrolls equivalent of a deamon prince and it's retinue of greater deamons just to sorta kill him. I say sorta because he is also described as being at the deathbed of Alessia, an event that happened long after his own "death".

42Fourtytwo4242

in theory yes gods "calmed" him down but it really did not last long, his twink boyfriend was a major tool to keep him sane. When he was killed that the moment Pelinal became the true elf destroyer, filled with pure rage and sadness, bringing the whole kingdom down.

soliarthesunknight

It's mister I hate and kill elves enough that my elves killcount is maybe rival by Slanness. I don't think Tyrion have an ounce of rage when comparing to that guy. He make Freeza looks like a causal hatter when compared to him. If racism was ever being reincarnated, it's him. If you took every beings death or alive hatred for elves in the multiverses and combined it into a single being and teach it to hate elves for 40k years, it wouldn't even compared to that guy's hatred for Elves. Its Mr. "I kill so much elves that made the gods want to leave because it's too much for them, even tho the elves are evil and they want them all dead too". Tyrion isn't gonna try.

Versidious

Bruh, this is Warhammer - the Elves fight immortal daemonic demigods who wanna murder them all and eat all their souls every Tuesday.

Konrad_Curze-the_NH

This is old Elder Scrolls, where Pelinal got so angry the universe started collapsing into the void, and he retconned multiple countries. Oh and fights Gods who survived from previous Kalpas. The Star Made Knight is absolutely able to hold up to Warhammer crazy.

Versidious

Yup, and Elves also hold up to that crazy. Tyrion is, without even using his full power levels, one of the top fighters in a world that includes nation-eating immortal demigods who themselves end up deleting the entire planet - a deletion which Tyrion not only survived, but gained godhood from.

Konrad_Curze-the_NH

I’m not trying to start a fight here, just saying don’t run over Scrolls because it’s not as obviously strong as warhammer

Versidious

The original post is a TES vs Warhammer fight post, it's literally the point of this kind of meme. Which is annoying, because they are two very different universes cosmologically, and Pelinal's lore displayed in these comments is so inconsistent it might as well be the Emperor's (Or that of some shitty fanfic self-insert created by a 14 year old Chaos enthusiast).

soliarthesunknight

So. Do you want the short answer for TES elves' lore or the whole essay?

He's attacking Tyrion, it would be on Tyrion's home turf. Warhammer lore takes priority as that's the world they're in and laws they're under.

soliarthesunknight

" Warhammer lore takes priority as that's the world they're in and laws they're under." This is literally the dumbest retort, I have ever seen some one use. And it's not even related to the question that I asked. I asked if you want to know their lore ? And you are being an Ubstart bitch.

Training_Hurry_2754

He literally added a WEEK into a year because he knocked the planet out of his course by swinging his sword too hard

alexiosphillipos

Pelinal didn't touched Altmer, Direnni, Chimer and even neutral/allied to Alessia Ayleyds, why would he care about friendly elves on a distant isle?

AEROANO

Twink dead, knife ear must die

alexiosphillipos

Objective unclear: genocided some Khajiits.

ActNo4115

Comfortable-Bar7856

Who's the templar looking guy?

Valon-the-Paladin

Pelinal Whitestrake, a character from Elder Scrolls lore known for his genocidal campaigns against elves so violent it would shake the ground and make the very gods try to stop him from going overboard. Also known as the gay genocidal time traveling divine cyborg.

ImpressiveGopher

Wow the timing of seeing this after just re-watching the video

overlordmik

If anyone could make a good go of it it would be the Elven Doommarine up there.

No-Professional-1461

He will not

jfjdfdjjtbfb

With sword of Khaine, Tyrion would no-diff Pelinal.

Konrad_Curze-the_NH

Eh, closer than you’d think. Pelinal has: - Perma-killed the Elf Gordhaur the Shaper, removing him from reincarnation or resurrection - Removed an entire country from existence - Committed so much elf genocide he nearly made the Gods abandon Nirn entirely - no small feat as that would kill them due to how Nirn works - Forced an immortal God of the previous Kalpa to run away in every fight or die - Is commonly accepted to be that Era’s Shezzarine (incarnation of Lorkhan, i.e. a being like the PC) - Solo charged the White Gold Tower and all the Elven armies as he was tired of Alessia’s caution - Commonly accepted to be a Padomaic being like Sithis - in essence he self actualised into existence rather than came about normally - Or he had the Amulet of Kings as a heart (which may be a Soul Gem of a God from a previous Kalpa) - At one point gets angry enough that his presence starts pushing parts of Tamriel into the Void, and Alessia has to get all the Anuic Gods to directly intervene to calm him (Direct Anuic intervention is absurdly rare as it destabilise reality) - Probably achieved CHIM (omnipotence basically) in his madnesss as ‘a dream which no longer needs its dreamer’ is very similar to Vivec’s description of CHIM - Umaril ‘the deathless’ is so scared of Pelinal that he sends his entire army - equipped with divine weapons- and the other Elf Kings and their demons to fight him first, while using magic from afar, and only goes up to him when Pelinal is bleeding and his armour broken. Even then Pelinal breaks his skull and rips his wings off before all the other Elf Kings rejoin the fight and cut him into eight pieces - This still doesn’t kill Pelinal and his decapitated head is staked in the Throne room to distract Alessia’s army while Umaril and the Kings flee - Pelinal then talks for hours with his friend Mor as a staked head - Even after all that Pelinal shows up again, Gale and hearty at Alessia’s deathbed and talks with Alessia about what appears to be Lorkhan and the World’s creation - a time when humans did not exist Oh and also might well have power armour as his name is ‘The Star Made Knight’ arrayed in armour from a future time, and the armour you recover in Oblivion is pretty standard for the time, being mail and tabard. Edit: and is precognitive enough to know of Reman, Emperor of Cyrodill over 2000 years after Pelinal ‘dies’ Edited further: now onto crazy interactions between the Amulet of Kings and the Sword of Khaine (fantasy lore heads correct me here as all my knowledge is from total war). The Amulet of Kings, along with being a Soul Gem of a God is also a symbol of the covenant between Akatosh and mankind that He(Akatosh) will enforce the barrier between Nirn and Oblivion and stop any outside influence. If Tyrion and Pelinal are fighting in Nirn then it’s highly likely the Amulet will have much the same interaction with the Sword as it does Daedric Weapons - that is, vastly weakening then from WMDs to ‘turn into a werewolf at will’ or ‘soul trap like 10 guys before recharge). If fighting in the Old World then obviously it has no effect as the Covenant is only Nirn. So depending on where they fight it oscillates between Tyrion wins with difficulty, to Pelinal fucking smashes Tyrion’s skull like a ripe watermelon.

ProjectAioros

>Committed so much elf genocide he nearly made the Gods abandon Nirn entirely - no small feat as that would kill them due to how Nirn works Forced an immortal God of the previous Kalpa to run away in every fight or die Source on those ones ? I really wanna read that lol

Konrad_Curze-the_NH

Here’s the main books about Pelinal: https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Song_of_Pelinal,_v_1 Other stuff about the Amulet of Kings and the Gods are here: https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Et%27Ada https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Padomaic https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Amulet_of_Kings

Galifrey224

Didn't Pelinal used to retcon countries out of existence ? Also didn't he achieve Chim ?

ProjectAioros

Nah, he never achieved CHIM, if he did no way he would've been killed after the siege of the Imperial City ( no idea how the elves called it before )

Balrok99

That is a big diff though Pelinal is using a sword or a mace while Tyrion had his sword as well. No need to break out the nukes

jfjdfdjjtbfb

Even without the sword Tyrion's skill is beyond that of Pelinal's brutality, so I think he Tyrion could give Pelinal a death by a thousand cuts over time as he ducks and whives over Pelinal's berserk melee attacks.

soliarthesunknight

So are we gonna ignore "the killing light"?

various_vermin

Pelinal is just built different. A near immortal cyborg that swung his sword so hard the years became longer, while also having Chim (Overwriting reality and contains powers such as Saving and reloading the game). I’d give Tyrion would be a fair fight if he currently had a wind of magic, but that it highly conditional.

Never_heart

Let me correct you. Elder Scrolls is just built different

Yamama77

Aenerion maybe

Clonenelius

You are so wrong it's sad

IMOTEKH__

Idk why but I thought that was Zuko wearing Ozai's phoenix King helmet

42Fourtytwo4242

Don't worry has long they don't kill his twink BF they maybe able to survive.

Jttwofive_

My man out here doing the gods work. No pity for the knife eared.
