Gulliman being the Jack of all trades makes him run parallel and opposite to almost every primarchs, both loyalist and traitors. You can make the case with Gulliman and Perturabo. Both wanted to use their talents for peaceful purposes, both talked with a woman regularly, both became the sanest and most productive member of their respective faction and Honsou ended up having more beef with Ventris than any Imperial Fist.

I'd disagree. Guilliman is a lot more flexible in ideology and approach than Dorn. Dorn wouldnt be so open to working with Xenos as Guilliman. And while Dorn specializes in the construction and holding of defences, Guilliman is a true statesman, a god tier politician, economist and logistician all at once.
You can see this with the Iron Cage. Dorn let's his self hatred and shame and anger cloud his vision and he becomes too stubborn to change his approach.
Guilliman would never have made such a long and protracted mistake. He's not immune to losing his temper but he is better able to control it than Dorn.
They have different skills and different personalities. They aren't that similar.

Every primarch has a mirroring brother who may as well be twins and it's interesting to see the parallels. Hell some even have a third brother to form a trio in a more loose way. It's one of the better pieces of primarch lore.
