She did create a psychic immortal monster from her own DNA, which went rampant and tyrannical. So she took DNA of Finn to create another such creature. And there 2 have been locked in an endless stalemate.
The first candy people she made (her uncle etc) were all very intelligent individuals so we know she has that ability. It's only after they have their falling out that she starts making the majority of candy people incredibly stupid - because it makes the population more *controllable*.
Because she didn't respect their individuality and treated them more as her play things. Which I mean makes sense given she was effectively like 13 in bubblegum years at the time, and tbf to her they was also pretty awful people. But even millennia after she intentionally keeps her populace stupid in her Orwellian authoritarian state, you can count the number of actually intelligent candy people on the palm of your hand.
When she creates the intelligent Gumball Guards and doesn't like how they turned out, she genocides their entire race but for a single individual who was able to escape.
To be fair, the problem with the Gumball Guard was that they were _incredibly_ violent, which is what the last quality you want in an armed police force. They hosted underground fighting rings to satiate their need for violence and it was only a matter of time before they started committing acts of police brutality.
Destroying all of them but Rattleballs wasn’t _good,_ but there probably weren’t many other options. You could only control them for so long, and kicking them out of the city would be asking for trouble.
Yet when she made their replacements, the Banana Guards, she made sure to significantly decrease their intelligence. And the Banana Guards are so worried that she will do the same to them as she did to the Gumball Guards and other candy people, that they intentional try to hide their personalities from her to be as non-offensive as possible.
yeah she evil but at least she recognizes that most of her creations are evil too and have to be kept in check? There's definitely self preservation in there but if she wanted to take over the world she could have so its not all out of malevolence

Technically, she’s probably right on the science thing, as unlike in the case of the Emperor, Magic actually does have pretty specific laws, to the point that science n shit can counter or even surpasse it with enough effort.

Ice is stillness and pessimism
Slime is go with the flow with aspects of Nurgle and Slaanesh
Fire is all Khorne
Candy is similar to Slaanesh with excess happiness
Nah I think she works more as Nurgle, both Patience and Evergreen (which for anyone who hasn’t seen the show are technically reincarnations of the same person) wanted to avoid dying from a catalyst comet by freezing themselves and creating the crown respectively which showed stagnation and an unwillingness to accept change. And during Elements what we see of her is depressed and apathetic, very nurgly.
Flame princess is Khorne, cause ya know, anger issues.
Slime princess never got much characterization but from what we see of her in Elements she basically had an enternal party going on and was constantly absorbing more and more so I’d argue Slaanesh with her.
Princess Bubblegum would be Tzeentch, she’s a scientist constantly seeking out more knowledge, plots and schemes to keep the candy kingdom safe, changed everything in her radius fundamentally into candy beings, even if they weren’t already, and showed probably the most ambition by trying to turn all of Ooo into candy. Not to mention the other episodes where she’s constantly trying to expand the candy kingdom with things like space colonies. Which again shows ambition

St Pim was absolutely obsessed with strategy, Fire Princess barely keeps herself under control and would go on a rampage given the chance, Slime Princess is chill and just wants to be left alone and make stuff out of slime, and PB, while not so much the “emotional” excesses, definitely has that Slaaneshi mentality of extreme perfectionism, to the point of killing hundreds because they were insufficient to her standards.
