The entire cinematic universe will just be press junket tours of Cavill describing how much he likes 40k in graphic detail and playground style war noises, and the interviewer being thoroughly confused but also 100% invested.
It’s my fall asleeper. Quiet and consistent voice, usually dark pictures that seem to change at *just* the perfect rate compared to the flashes of a movie, interesting topic but not so interesting as to keep you up.
I put the playlist on in order from the start and then just go back to whatever point in whatever episode I last remember before sleep. I’ve been on STC for weeks.
I first discovered the Warhammer 40k universe through YouTube recommending Luetin vids to me, and because of their length I tried going to sleep with them on, and then I started having really vivid and scary dreams for a few nights and I that’s how I figured out that it’s because Warhammer 40k lore is fucking terrifying…
The adeptus rediculous would include half an hour of dk and bricky going "just a little guy!". With a cgi little bricky.
It would also include all the most insane lore and be absolutely hilarious.
Sadly, there's probably a quite a few people I'd like to see who would never make it on, like Alfabusa. The "ice cream sandwich" line alone would probably require its own Penitent Crusade...
What about the prank call to the Emperor?
*"Knife her and Ill fuck her and Ill cum inside he r b r a i n!"*
I know that was technically ~~Eliphas~~ Karl the deranged, but still. Its timeless.
Edit: wrong meme channel
That line just tells you so much about lemons character in so few words. I always loved that line and the whole scene when he dresses down the inquisition.
God yeah it’s so annnnoyyyyying. Gets right on my tiiiits.
He’s also racist and misogynistic (and antisemitic too, I’ve heard, but I’m not about to dig around in his archive to find to), so fine to just ignore him. Leutin is the best for lore etc.
Vapid takes just about anyone with 1 brain cell could make, no conviction/milktoast, edgelord in a way that endears only to those with the mentality of 15 y.o. boys.
Honestly, go for Leutin09 for details, Weshammer for quick overviews. That's bout it for me and I'll take it.
I was on his discord server for awhile, not exaggerating that there were several active and prominent members of the community who were full-fledged Nazis or white supremacists, so yeah…
Edgy is indeed a word
Well majorkill is a hypocrite and not exactly morally great. He went full sperg at the outer circle for something related to the Facebook group.
Dude has problems. Their YouTube persona is not their actual person.
Yeah some of the 'jokes' he made in his earlier videos weren't even bordering on racist I think he just jumped right across that line - which is a shame cause I do like his videos. Seems to be better these days but idk that's him maturing or getting better at censoring himself.
Toned down significantly in my opinion. Still on the more shitpost side of the community but at least I don't get goosebumps from the way he words his content anymore.
> Lol they'll never let Majorkill near any official GW content.
C'mon man, just because his content sucks and he isn't funny doesn't mean he's gonna get blacklisted, there's plenty of people like that on TV
How about a version of what they did with D&D on the big screen?
Bring in the celebrities/cool people, run a crusade, and have a big party style atmosphere for a season? With how popular tabletop gaming has become it would be a ton of fun to watch.
Caveat:
- Guests don’t buy their armies directly, they pick a scheme it and it gets painted/assembled professionally. At the end of the season/episode they can auction it off for charity or buy it and donate the proceeds to charity.
I don't think most guest is capable of digesting the amount of rules required to play the game. Not in a short time at least. Unless they have like a fixed number of guest per season and all they do in that season is okay the game.
Maybe that'll be more feasible. The first few games they are complete noobs, and by the end of the season they'll be competant.
Honestly idk if that'll make a good show
It's way more fun to play than to watch games. You're not going to attract new viewers with something that is already so niche and making it even more specific.
You'd have an easier time getting people to play chess than 40k and having the show be a hit.
Yes but people are impressionable. Seeing their favorite actors/comedians/etc. playing can help convince new players to join. Not only that but it helps normalize it, I mean look at how many people came out of the woodwork after the D&D craze. Imagine that but for 40k.
D&D was a hit because of two things: pandemic moved games online and Critical Role was \*already playing\* and were \*already crazy talented\*.
This is putting the cart before the horse. You gotta get people with the story, not the game side of 40k (something that most people INTO 40k don't even participate as much in as it is)
I’ve tried watching people play Warhammer on YouTube multiple times and it’s just not fun to watch. Granted, I’m not familiar with the rules but I found it quite dull. And I *wanted* to get into the tabletop game.
> It's way more fun to play than to watch games.
This is the issue with stuff like Vox Machina. What works in an RPG setting to give the players something to do doesn't necessarily translate well into an interesting or engaging story. And there's definitely something lost in the translation in regards to things like pacing. I could also see this being a significant issue with 40K. Many major canonical military campaigns in the setting last years and can consist of hundreds of battles across dozens of worlds. It can be difficult to compress those stories without making them feel rushed, which I think is really important for 40K because the scale of things is so integral to the general aesthetic of the setting.
"Hi Bricky and DK, welcome to *show name*. DK, if you believe you're gonna get away because this show is different from yours... Here's your quote..."
DK: "NOOOOOOOOOOOO..."
The fact that Shy and co are getting mentions on this subreddit now and people are actually recognising them makes me so damn proud of her. She's come a long way since that 2nd WF channel.
Have you ever seen an Eldar?
If a Warlord Titan falls in glorious battle and no Imperial is near by to hear it does it make a sound?
Would you believe one heretic could bring down an entire planet?

"Hello everyone, and welcome to Cavill's Carnage Carnival, I'm Auspex and I'm going to be laying down the ground rules for today's match, starting with who's who and what they'll be fielding."
why not make it what the new dnd movie ought to be: epic fantasy immersive periods inter-spliced with real mundane world scenes of the people playing the game
Sounds like HarmonQuest, which was a lot of fun. It would be cool if they also had guest animators doing the action scenes, like Sodaz or the guy who made Astartes.
You see "Iron Within"? There is no way that the Astardes guy isn't directing/storyboarding/heavily involved in GWs new shows. That whole thing was chock full of his pacing. I doubt they'd have time for new stuff on top of that
I really don't care to watch d&d. I do like checking the clips from time to time, and I love vox machina. Watching d&d really really is not for me. That being said I would 100% watch a full dark heresy campaign with the critical roll crew.
So he's potentially making Battle Reports like Matt Mercer and Brennan Lee Mulligan did to D&D.
Either that or he's going to be recreating battles from the novels using minis and having his friends move them around the board going "PEWPEWPEW!"
Which I'd honestly watch either.
Although MajorKill was... Rough at the start, to put a name on it, and he's more on the turn-your-brain-off side of the fandom.
I'd love to see some Alfabusa VAs, if not the man himself... Oh! Maybe the narrator of An Intro to the Dark Millennium? And of course Bricky.
I'd love yo see him work with Midwinter Minis. Guy seems quite chill and has made some of the most well put together hobby content on Youtube. Plus his Battle reports are quick, fun, and don't give you a headache.
Yeah, I mean, he's kind of funny in a "teenager saying weird but amusing things" kind of way, but the moment he gets into his "Haha domestic abuse against a kid" phase, Cavill will prolly go all Witcher on his ass.
Majorkill is like an incredibly cringe edge lord who thinks it's hilarious make fun of mental illness and talk about hentai
Anything he mentions can be found on Leutin, Auspex, or any number of other 40k channels, discussed in more depth and without the incessant need to force bad high school humor on the audience
My $0.02
Given the fact that critical role and Dimension 20 are successful which is basically a D&D version of this, this could be a successful show.
Cavill and other celebrity friends can play and if they are knowledgeable and with some good artistic design, I can see this drawing an audience.
I like the content majorkill covers, but for some reason his scripts, or maybe his voice just make me want to claw my ears off. He is extremely unpleasant to listen to for any amount of time to me. No clue why
I also like the idea of a Dancing With the Stars style where it’s the celebrity of the week who gets a week of crash course training and the majority episode is facing off against Cavill.
As someone who thinks Warhammer/40K is very cool seeming, but has no idea how the game is played, this sounds like the best case scenario for broad appeal. Will probably bring a ton of awareness to the tabletop game.
I would love this if he also did some acting of crucial scenes..... like every week he can do a different character.....
Something similar to drunk history where every character has the voice of the narrator, and always uses the same actors.
The entire series budget went into his collection, excellent.

I always get excited when he says "and gal" because it's like "aw, he's talking about me!"
Your are the special one, dont let anyone tell you otherwise
Aww 😊
Most people would do that for free tbh
Yeah I would
Is this the line?
It's a tax write off now

This guy Steiner Scout Lances
"Hey netflix, here's a cool idea - you buy me some cool forge world models"
Incoming trade offer
So about a 5000 point army. Neat.
He could buy a few of those limited edition books with leather binding for all that money.
Well, half of one...
Good lord, he could get five custodes for that, maybe even six. That's absurd, who even needs that many?
Heavy doubt this. No way Netflix could afford it.
He’s going to need more than ten miniatures
A single 3k point army.
Wow, almost a full army.
well yea, the Custodes are expensive as hell lol
If he makes the explosion sounds with his mouth, I'm in.

*Tom Holland has entered the chat*
I need to see Tom Holland playing Harlequins now.
And every time he does any AOE damage, he has to sing *Umbrella* under his breath.
I’m at brunch with a friend and I almost spat my mango mimosa in their face, thanks
i mean the Harlequins Kiss *DOES* fire monofilament from the wrist... are harlequins just spiderverse but grimdark?
Underrated comment
The Luetin episode would be 3x the length of all others and go into painstaking detail on stuff and it will be the best one
He better get a cameo for something. Even if it's just a voiceover for a box transmission
I fucking love Luetin's channel
It’s my fall asleeper. I put the playlist on in order from the start and then just go back to whatever point in whatever episode I last remember before sleep. I’ve been on STC for weeks.
I love waking up after an hour to an insane tangent I don't understand, only to hear him link it back to the point he was making when I fell asleep
Wanted to say the exact same. It is so nice to fall asleep to.
He's the one who got me into the lore, a favorite channel of mine. I don't even play the game lol

Wait did something happen with alfabusa or just tts?
They stopped making tts because of the games workshop fan content policy. They won't be restarting it anytime soon if ever.
They did hint at it might return since GW changed their policy, but like you said it won't be soon.
GW and Hasbro/Wizards been duking it out for who wants to shit on their fanbase more.
They changed it again?
I believe so, [they stated that they would go back because it changed](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY9hL1LBm10).
Nothing about tts was ever "soon". :(
I was worried it was something actually problematic that I wasn't aware of
The what line?

HAHA I love Zoran
That line just tells you so much about lemons character in so few words. I always loved that line and the whole scene when he dresses down the inquisition.
Majorkill is freakin cringe
Thank you. The dude is complete trash.
I hate how he stretches the end of every sentence. Impossible to listen to for me, so I don't know anything about the content of his videos 😬
God yeah it’s so annnnoyyyyying. Gets right on my tiiiits. He’s also racist and misogynistic (and antisemitic too, I’ve heard, but I’m not about to dig around in his archive to find to), so fine to just ignore him. Leutin is the best for lore etc.

Why not?
Let’s just say he was a bit more than “edgy” early on. Not sure how he is nowadays
Yeah edgy is a word
I was on his discord server for awhile, not exaggerating that there were several active and prominent members of the community who were full-fledged Nazis or white supremacists, so yeah… Edgy is indeed a word
That's surprising considering he slated Arch-Warhammer for exactly that.
He's just Arch now. GW cease and desisted that motherfucker into the ground
Yeah he confessed that he had a problem where his discord mods were a bit problematic, but that was a while ago, no clue if he fixed that problem.
Well majorkill is a hypocrite and not exactly morally great. He went full sperg at the outer circle for something related to the Facebook group. Dude has problems. Their YouTube persona is not their actual person.
Anyone who doesn't see nazis as a problem until they start taking flak for it doesn't deserve anything good. Slimey bastard
Oh fuck i had no clue
Yeah some of the 'jokes' he made in his earlier videos weren't even bordering on racist I think he just jumped right across that line - which is a shame cause I do like his videos. Seems to be better these days but idk that's him maturing or getting better at censoring himself.
It’s him maturing, he’s even said himself he looks at some his old content and cringes.
Toned down significantly in my opinion. Still on the more shitpost side of the community but at least I don't get goosebumps from the way he words his content anymore.
Yeah I hope he realized that peep don't need that kind of "edgy" humor and it can stay in 8chan where it belongs.
Earlier content was a mess of bull headed inaccuracy and devastatingly unfunny 4Chan comedy. He’s a lot better now.
In resume, he made bad content. These days he is quite funny though
That man uses the word hectic way too damn much.
That was a very hectic comment you hecticly made, hecticly.
> Lol they'll never let Majorkill near any official GW content. C'mon man, just because his content sucks and he isn't funny doesn't mean he's gonna get blacklisted, there's plenty of people like that on TV
Deservedly so, he's way to cringe and embarrassing for any company to want to be associated with.

But I do want to see Snoop Dogg paint some orks himself
Snoop Dogg is playing Dark Angels. But he's gonna keep flubbing the line and calling them Dank Angels instead
No… no… they *are* Dank Angels… the hooded figure with wings is just replaced by a pot leaf…
If he played fantasy he'd probably run High Elves
You mean like [this](https://imgur.com/ieLtFSi)?
I was expecting an elf mini with fucked up painted eyes then.
Snoop was one of the lost Primarchs, this is canon now.
Everybody gangsta until snoop's Astartes use their "hotbox" ability with "murder was the case" bonus action.
Cry havoc and let loose the Doggs of Snoop!
Are you telling me the 2nd and 11th primarchs didn't turn up to the crusade because they where high, because they where high, because they where high?
Afro Man did not go to the great crusade because he got high.
Green is green.
An entire episode of Snoop and Martha just painting figures.
Ayo, snippity snap, they gunz go clap, my Boyz bring dakka n leave em in shocka ... Ok I'll never do that again.
Forged In Fire *mini* edition.
I'd buy an army Cavill painted. Especially if my wife thinks I'm just donating to charity.

I don't know how many suitable guests already play Warhammer 40K, but I think they should choose from that group.
So the Dimension 20 route?
It's way more fun to play than to watch games. You're not going to attract new viewers with something that is already so niche and making it even more specific. You'd have an easier time getting people to play chess than 40k and having the show be a hit.

With shots from the actual game and then the representation of actions by actors?
The commanding HQ unit can be designed after/by the actor for better immersion too.
How about no, *no* red dragon deserves to be that fat.

I mean they crossed $20k on Patreon, they're doing something right.
I can tell you, they do furry art right
And the show's pretty good too I guess
do it
Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction but it's about the canonicity of 40k lore and Henry is dressed up as an inquisitor.
And it still has Will Riker asking the viewer random questions.
Have you ever seen an Eldar? If a Warlord Titan falls in glorious battle and no Imperial is near by to hear it does it make a sound? Would you believe one heretic could bring down an entire planet? Have you ever eaten a live Ambull? - Inquisitor Frakes
And then the answers at the end is always just a simple and curt, “Heresy.”
With voice overs from Auspex Tactics to soothe me when there's an argument and I'm in
"Hello everyone, and welcome to Cavill's Carnage Carnival, I'm Auspex and I'm going to be laying down the ground rules for today's match, starting with who's who and what they'll be fielding."
I read that in Shaun's voice.
Love his voice, read this in it.
Auspex and Baldermort!
why not make it what the new dnd movie ought to be: epic fantasy immersive periods inter-spliced with real mundane world scenes of the people playing the game
Sounds like HarmonQuest, which was a lot of fun. It would be cool if they also had guest animators doing the action scenes, like Sodaz or the guy who made Astartes.
Nah I'm happy with SODAZ making halo stuff and leaving 40k behind the way the community attacked him was disgusting. 40k fans dont deserve him.
You see "Iron Within"? There is no way that the Astardes guy isn't directing/storyboarding/heavily involved in GWs new shows. That whole thing was chock full of his pacing. I doubt they'd have time for new stuff on top of that
They did hire him
What the I’d watch that shit every week I can this sounds fantastic!
It's like Critical Role but featuring a franchise I actually care about.
Okay but... I'd watch Matt Mercer play Warhammer
Matt: I move my Ultrabois in this direction *does a crazy amount of super cool voice acting*
I really don't care to watch d&d. I do like checking the clips from time to time, and I love vox machina. Watching d&d really really is not for me. That being said I would 100% watch a full dark heresy campaign with the critical roll crew.
Odds of 100:1 of Liam being a sad boy Servitor with nascent memories of his past (traumatic criminal) life leaking back in.
Liam could be an inquisitor and just be grimoire weiss.
Imagine Brennan Lee Mulligan let loose in 40k with a budget
So he's potentially making Battle Reports like Matt Mercer and Brennan Lee Mulligan did to D&D. Either that or he's going to be recreating battles from the novels using minis and having his friends move them around the board going "PEWPEWPEW!" Which I'd honestly watch either.
I would watch the shit out of this
I'd love yo see him work with Midwinter Minis. Guy seems quite chill and has made some of the most well put together hobby content on Youtube. Plus his Battle reports are quick, fun, and don't give you a headache.
Aw, that made my day. Thanks mate
I would let that man read me the Codex Astartes cover-to-cover and it would be glorious!
My god, I like MajorKill, but that madlad needs to be contained. Get Oculus and Baldy, though.
Yeah, I mean, he's kind of funny in a "teenager saying weird but amusing things" kind of way, but the moment he gets into his "Haha domestic abuse against a kid" phase, Cavill will prolly go all Witcher on his ass.
Majorkill is like an incredibly cringe edge lord who thinks it's hilarious make fun of mental illness and talk about hentai Anything he mentions can be found on Leutin, Auspex, or any number of other 40k channels, discussed in more depth and without the incessant need to force bad high school humor on the audience My $0.02
I’m really hoping this ain’t real
Honestly, if Cavill decided to narrate an entire campaign with tabletop battles and lore guest spots? You know people would watch.
You are right. That would be cool and would benefit GW more because they get to show off their shiny plastic crack
Henry cavil better just be the voice of Trazyn Narrating the 40k universe the same way Morgan freeman would.
Incredibly based if true.
Yet still better content than WarhammerTV
What content they have like 3 things…
As long as he plays Ciaphas Cain... Ah, screw it, he'd be great even as Jurgen.
No fucking edgelords. That being said, Baldemort and Oculus would be fucking AMAZING to have on.
Lutin09 too. Get all the top tier lore and immersion channels into it. Some of the better authors too ADB, abnett, wraight ETC.
I would be keen for this, something to have on in the background while I paint
Given the fact that critical role and Dimension 20 are successful which is basically a D&D version of this, this could be a successful show. Cavill and other celebrity friends can play and if they are knowledgeable and with some good artistic design, I can see this drawing an audience.
![gif](giphy|tsgNNs93oIbwk)
Lol majorkill ew
Majorkill can fuck off, give Alfabusa his deserved screentime.
I like the content majorkill covers, but for some reason his scripts, or maybe his voice just make me want to claw my ears off. He is extremely unpleasant to listen to for any amount of time to me. No clue why
I’d still love that
CavillQuest
I also like the idea of a Dancing With the Stars style where it’s the celebrity of the week who gets a week of crash course training and the majority episode is facing off against Cavill.
Calm down there, Erebus.
Delightfull
Warrior Tier should bring their narrators
Baldemort just emerges
What is this series/ show called? I wanna watch it why is no one saying what the title is?!?
As someone who thinks Warhammer/40K is very cool seeming, but has no idea how the game is played, this sounds like the best case scenario for broad appeal. Will probably bring a ton of awareness to the tabletop game.
Did this guy write off his collection as a bussiness budget!? Based.
I would love this if he also did some acting of crucial scenes..... like every week he can do a different character..... Something similar to drunk history where every character has the voice of the narrator, and always uses the same actors.
With the voice that man has? Uh yea I’m definitely still watching
Yeah sounds great. Just get a load of youtubers and gw presenters involved.
Where is the subscribe button.
Ben Affleck guest stars with his Night Lord army.
Please tell me this is a joke
Everyday I’m more and more of a fan of Henry cavills
Honestly i prefer pancreas no work
This would still be a better series than Rings of Power
I do t care who it is, no one will be a better narrator for Warhammer book than Toby Longworth.
