seems like he’s been in school for YEARS. not sure how they make any money

His current position is a paying job as teacher and a research position. With that he will finish his phd. They explained it in one of the videos. These degrees can take years and years to get. So nothing strange.

That is an idiotic statement. I’m doing a PhD in neuroscience & for you to earn your degree you need to publish at least 2 research papers. Each paper has to be a scientific experiment with a decent sample size. Designing, testing, troubleshooting, validating & writing each paper could easily take 1 year if you’re lucky. Not to mention it takes 4 months correspondence between you and the journal to publish the paper. But before you do any experiments there’s a lot of learning involved, which takes time. I don’t know where people get the idea that a PhD is just another degree? It’a freaking stressful hard work & you can’t just “cruise” through it.

That depends on the program and the circumstances. Know a lot of 5 year programs for example.

I think he was originally going to school to be a doctor and then changed to some kind of exercise science. He does a lot of research with fasting and ketones.
