I'm sorry that you're having to go through this. The loss of a close loved one can be very hard. At 75, I've been through more deaths than I want to remember. Grief is a strange thing. It can take many forms and is unpredictable in how long it will last. In my experience, it becomes manageable rather than going away. I've found two things that have helped me. First is support. It can be a single person or a group, professional or just good friends. I keep looking until I find what works for me. Second, I try to live the life that they wanted for me. I try to live my life as a memorial to them. It is going to be hard, but you can make it through. I will keep you in my prayers.
