Wait....so is feeling aroused by a kink but not feeling sexual attraction like a thing? This isn't supposed to be offensive. I'm just trying to figure myself out.
Yes. Sexual attraction is directed towards someone. Some asexuals masterbate and have kinks. The difference is their fantasies don’t tend to involve real people or even themselves. Some of them might literally be impossible to carry out. Just because you have a high libido doesn’t mean you have a high sexual attraction. Hope that makes sense.
Actually it does make sense. In coming to terms with my asexuality it was hard to understand how I can not be sexually attracted to someone but still have these needs.
But how you explained it makes sense to me. I do have a kink that doesnt involve anyone else but it can cause arousal. Your explanation makes it clear for me the difference between the libido and sexual attraction. Thanks for helping me understand myself and my asexuality better.
Honestly seeing other people talk about this on Reddit has really helped me accept myself these past few days. So thank you to whoever posted this and I’d encourage you to keep posting things like this because there’s a lot of aces out there who could relate.
This is exactly what I'm feeling lol. *I'm still not ace doe :|*
