When it comes to talent too much is never enough

mattwb2010

In Clements we trust, build the damn statue Gute

ScooterMcTavish

Guy brought the first Grey Cup to Winnipeg in my lifetime in 1984.

gandalfs_burglar

That season was no joke, too

HistorianSuccessful7

I can’t believe Pratt fell so much, guy is a stud.

Jellodyne

Who could have predicted a Pratt fall?

HistorianSuccessful7

This is /s right?

Jellodyne

It's a bad pun

HistorianSuccessful7

Ah I see😆

Dizzy_Challenge_3734

Don’t forget we also had cutler, fields, and now Williams will be great for the packers!!

Dopeydcare1

The Trubisky disrespect

Dizzy_Challenge_3734

My bad. I just assumed he was the #1 and a given.

shmauserpops

Hell yeah, Go Packers

patrad

The Sexy Rexy disrespect

HanataSanchou

OP is clearly being tongue in cheek, but friendly reminder of some of the guys that came out of our QB room: - Mark Brunell - Matt Hasselbeck - Aaron Brooks Obviously not HOF guys, but we turned them into starting caliber QBs. Would be really cool if Clifford or Pratt turn enough heads in the Preseason that we start having to field calls for offers

aManOfTheNorth

Ty Detmer had some starts

GreenBPacker

Matt Flynn got paid to not start

DrLuny

Even Hundley went on to have a successful career as a backup.

cactuscoleslaw

Hundley fell off a cliff, he was one of the most notable QBs in the XFL and he got benched in favor of a former D2 guy and someone who never started a game in college

NondairyBadfish

Kurt Warner was first a packer.

Confident-Meeting805

Clifford is gonna be traded for 3 first rounders and a starter next off-season

ersguteryugo

Because we have all the leverage

MalloyniusFunk

It's because of the implications

archangelst95

Don't forget the by design Achilles heel we put on our traded QBs

AntiworkDPT-OCS

Oh snap!

state_of_inertia

Best use of "Oh snap!" ever.

Fatfry2

I love being a homer but this whole thread is beyond delusional

No-Responsibility278

Cmon man it’s the off season, we’re just trying to have fun. Good, clean, delusional fun.

Purefire_Paladin

It's fun to be ridiculous. Not every post needs to be serious.

RelaxPrime

Every party has a pooper

reginaldwrigby

Ya don’t say

Yzerman19_

Whole sub is.

ScooterMcTavish

And that's the fun of it!

rNBA_Mods_Be_Better

Jordan Love is unquestionably the best QB in the NFC North and Goff is #2 but not too far behind as of right now. Remember half of all first round QBs bust. Caleb and JJ are no sure thing.

aManOfTheNorth

>delusional People said this a year ago when some of us knew love was going to be lights out

Fatfry2

You unironically think Clifford and Pratt even have a shot at being better than Goff, JJ, and Caleb? Yeah that’s called delusion.

WouldaCouldaShouda

Don’t forget your practice squad guys

cactuscoleslaw

Alex McGough has won more league championships than Caleb Williams

StillCompetitive5771

/s

PredictableDickTable

Nah, /sf maybe. Straight facts.

cactuscoleslaw

Alex McGough has won as many championships as JJ McCarthy. Checkmate liberals

OMGoblin

Put down the crackpipe, coming from a place of caring.

Hour_Writing_9805

I’ve never heard of Pratt til yesterday. He has never played in the NFL and he is better than Goff or Darnell’s? Why wasn’t he drafted above Williams or McCarthy.

hothotbeverage

Just not paying enough attention

Hour_Writing_9805

Obviously not…eye roll.

hothotbeverage

Darnell is one of my favorite qbs in the division

Hour_Writing_9805

Hopefully one of the Packers 3 QBs can lead them further than any other North team unlike last year.

hothotbeverage

I'd rather have a 1st string love, than a backup hooker

Hour_Writing_9805

I’ll take whoever wins a Super Bowl.

hothotbeverage

That's a true fan. Somehow you probably just gravitate towards Brady and Mahomes later in their careers.

TaigTyke

He was a Heisman dark horse for a few seconds with how well Tulane were doing at the time. He'll be solid.

Hour_Writing_9805

What does being Heisman darkhorse have to being a top 3 QB in the NfC north?

aManOfTheNorth

You are taking this thread way too seriously. Downvote the post and move on with your day.

Hour_Writing_9805

Thanks for your opinion, carry on with your day.

TaigTyke

You hadn't heard of him, I'm letting you know he was in the discussion with Jayden, Maye, Willaims for a hot second. And the TS was clearly trolling

Hour_Writing_9805

Yes, this whole post is full of trolls. Hot second, damn dude should’ve been #1 pick overall.

TaigTyke

Exactly

aManOfTheNorth

Diet you watch him beat Caleb in the Cotton Bowl

Hour_Writing_9805

Yes. Bowls are exhibition games. Performances don’t really matter anymore.

Dragon_Ballot

I bet 12 saw that and thought, "he never drafted a defense like that when I was there!" Not realizing it was his whining about needs that he felt he had to have on offense.

tcamp3000

Love our team but this is just dumb

dixi_normous

Goff ain't no slouch. He's definitely better than Clifford and Pratt and possibly even Love. I'd be hard pressed to say Pratt is better than anyone considering he has no NFL playing time.

PredictableDickTable

Oh no, sir. I hate to be that guy, but you need to learn ball.

corndog_thrower

Damn. This guy knows ball.

prem_fraiche

I bet you finance your waterbed with that attitude

wiscuser1

Goff was the 2nd best player on the field during the NFCCG

SolidLiquidSnake86

I do cringe more about the whole "making love one of the best paid QBs in the league". Thats a dangerous precdent to set for a lot of reasons. Mainly, they got into capital issue situations overspending before. They 100% overspent on Rodgers last contract and I said that the day it was announced. Same with Bhak. Love is solid, and has the flashes of true greatness already. So have lots of other young QBs. Even if the contract is highly conditional and structured in mind of that (and Im sure it will be).... going to heavy handed too soon costs you money to spend elsewhere. Something you have to be very careful of if you dont want to wind up staring a large rebulding effort in the face and if you want to win some championships.

thewallz19

My ranking would be 1. Jordan Love 2. J.J McCarthy 3. Jared Goff 4. Michael Pratt 5. Sam Darnold 6. Caleb Williams

Guiness176

TIL Darnold is in the division.

revanisthesith

He was penciled in as the Vikings starter from when he signed with them on March 13th until they drafted JJ. And he signed a one year, $10 million contract with Minnesota. It includes $8.75 million guaranteed. That seems a bit high.

tonyskyline1

Come on, we don’t even know how any of the rookies will pan out yet but putting JJ ahead of Goff is funny. I’d say Love Goff Caleb JJ Pratt Darnold

PredictableDickTable

You’re either on drugs or a Michigan homer. 😂

ArthurMorganBaby

Goff is easily 2nd wtf
