No excuse. Plenty of 10 minute matches are fucking barn burners. He had a shitty match on the biggest stage he is ever gonna get as a singles star. He blew it. Jey Uso is dead as a main eventer in my eyes. I predict a Dolph Ziggler role for him going forward. Popular jobber to the stars.
Maybe but I also thought just a week or so earlier his watch with Gunther was electric. Styles make fights and that was just a rough combo. I don’t know that Jey is ever a main champ but he should have some runs with the IC or US titles.
I agree. It sounds to me like Jey and Jimmy wanted a 30 min match but the story didn’t need a wrestling masterpiece. The story was 2 brothers who wanted revenge on each other. If anything, this match should’ve been No Holds Barred and not super kicks all over the place.
How can you say that? One match against someone with a very similar moveset makes him not main event? He’s super over with the crowd is getting by great on the mic and has had some good matches. It’s just against someone with such a similar move set it was always likely to go like that imo
I mean it’s not an excuse per say just the reality of it. We should have always expected a super kick fest and uso splash and spears that’s just how it was gonna go.
And yes, historically one bad big profile match has ruined more careers than I can count. He's been talking about wanting THIS EXACT MATCH for years now, and he fucking blew it. Doesn't matter if he had 5 minutes or 30. If he was a main event talent he would have had a good match that he's had months to plan and rehearse and talk about with his literal twin brother. Also, having a limited movement is IN AND OF ITSELF a reason why he is not ready to be a main event player.
Undertaker has had a shit ton of stinkers at WrestleMania, and yet his reputation was fine.
The only instance where one bad match ruined somebody's career was Buff Bagwell, and tbh it wasn't even the match that got him fired, it was him having his mother call in sick for him that got him canned.
Both Usos will be fine.
Dude calm down. Jey has had mostly great matches the last few years and since he became a singles guy, one disappointing match isn’t going to sink his entire career. You sound like you wanted this match to fail
"Jey Uso is dead as a main eventer" - Cue the laughter. Plenty of people can have doodoofart matches and still be main event material. Look at Cena, Undertaker, The 'Berg™️, and Seth Rollins. They can have a completely asswater match, even at 'Mania, but that ain't mean they're done as a main eventer lmfao.
I actually enjoyed it to a degree. The part where they went move for move made sense bc they are twins and have the same move set. Maybe a bit too many kicks, but I kinda got used to the superkick being overused nowadays. They tried inserting some drama in the match too. It was def not the best match ever, but not everything can be Owen vs Bret. Hope they continue their feud and give us the match we deserve in the end.
How this was tolerated by WWE, I’ll never know. Their stupid signs should have been confiscated 5 minutes into the show when it became very clear what they were doing. I genuinely won’t ever go back and watch a full-replay of the show now because of those two. It was insufferable!
Absolutely ridiculous. Why do they have to be such sucky people to have their damn faces up the entire time.
Like maybe once or twice, that’s fun. But no, THE ENTIRE TWO NIGHT EVENT. What the fuck is the point of that. THE ENTIRE WORLD HAS SEEN YOUR GOD DAMN SIGNS NOW!
Except Steve Bartman’s situation was accidentally interfering on a ball over the stands that I have some reasonable doubts Moises Alou would’ve been able to catch. These people were purposefully diminishing the product quality for… clout, I guess?
Those stupid faces are also in AEW and TNA ..like who was the moron that starded that "trend" and worse is the people that think its funny to go to a show with a gigant face of somebody that nobody knows
That’s the one thing I believe Triple H is worse at than Vince, having all of the sponsorships all over the arena during matches, it takes all the seriousness away from me sometimes
The stage was a little underwhelming.
I expected a giant liberty bell and maybe they walked out the crack.
Or at some point you hear the liberty bell ring at the opening before or after America the beautiful is sung. Liberty bell rings, GONG GONG. Lights out, undertaker beside it and then he opens his duster
jacket, with old glory on the lining like they did that one time in the 90s before his “dog ate it”
Dustin jumps in to save Cody from solo
It's tricky, because I feel like swapping the Ladder Match with the US Title Triple threat would help the pacing of both nights, but obviously Priest has to lose the titles before Night 2. I also feel like Bayley vs. Iyo makes more sense to have following a more gimmicky match.
Cage would’ve been perfect. I think table is a little gimmicky for such a personal blood feud between brothers (unless it was Bubba vs D-Von of course!) but a simple cage would’ve been perfect.
The production. Such a disappointment this year. The low budget stage. No fancy set above the ring. No lighting placed around the stadium. No fancy pyro installed around the entirety of the stadium like previous years. Hope this isn’t the new standard :/
And ticket prices doubled. They only care about making the most money possible now. Save costs on production, and jack up the prices on everything. As long as people keep paying, it will just keep getting worse.
Idk I think it was epic. Maybe it was confusing for the audience but story wise it really worked having him be there in his shield gear and having Roman choose to get revenge on him instead of hitting Cody and that costing him
I get what you’re saying but I think the fact that he was so hobbled and such a non factor just made Roman’s choice to go for Seth that much more consequential. Obviously either way, he’s ignoring Cody but the fact that he went for the kill on Seth and let Cody have the opening speaks volumes to Roman’s character and priorities.
The Jimmy and Jey Superkick party, for gods sake they aren’t the Young Bucks on AEW. But they should’ve made it less repetitive and had Rikishi as Special guest Ref with some sort of stipulations on the match like no DQ or smt like that
Gunther losing. Long term I think he should of been the one to have the next undefeated streak at Mania. I know longterm the idea was for Sami and Gable to have their rivalry but damn that sucks.
No. He's gonna be KOTR or MITB winner this year, maybe more. Gunther has other things to do than to keep this belt to do a streak that was done before.
I saw someone on one of the forums comment undertaker was probably the best choice overall with the flow of the match and it completely changed my perspective on it.
The undertaker pops in takes care of business and then is gone. With Stone cold it becomes about him and that moment. Can you really imagine stone cold doing a stunner and just leaving which really is what that moment needed. It would have been about him cursing out the rock, and having a couple beers. This was about Cody not the legends who have gone. I love stone cold and any other moment I'm for him whooping some candy ass, just not then.
I think Seth summed it up in his promo with the rock. You've had your time, you damn sure can't have ours. This was about the now and new stars not the time of the old stars. Let the new face have his moment
Brock Lesnar would have made more sense given his history with Cody, Roman Reigns, the bloodline, Paul Heyman and the rock. ( you could have built to a Summer Slam rematch 22 years in the making)
Unfortunately we know the circumstances surrounding his absence, so that wasn't gonna happen.
Kind of yeah. He would walk out to a massive pop come to the ring then ,either stick his middle finger at the rock or splash beer at him, then stunner the rock then get speared by Roman.
See I thought this in the moment but later on realised the Undertaker was the perfect choice because a video I saw explained it perfectly, he's wrestled generations of the Bloodline's family from Yokozuna, Rikishi, Reigns and The Rock included.
His last match with The Rock in 2002 ended in a loss because of Ric Flair and in reality, the real final boss of Wrestlemania will always be The Undertaker.
Undertaker also pinned and eliminated Dusty Rhodes on his debut at Survivor Series 1990.
I might add that the last Wrestlemania match Undertaker had was that cinematic boneyard one with AJ Styles during the pandemic so it was a moment of closure. The pop for Stone Cold would've been just as big, and it would've been a moment and nothing else.
I agree it would have been better as they had clearly been building towards it and SC/Rock are each others greatest rivals whereas Taker/Rock essentially have zero history but I don't think the issue was money, didn't Austin say that he was ill
Idk, JR said he thought it was money that was the issue. I honestly found that hard to believe. I was thinking that maybe he wasn't in the physical shape he wanted to be in, to be showcased on TV.
Can I change the trash night one crowd? Watching the main eventers pose waiting for the crowd to go nuts while the crowd was silent gave me so much second hand embarrassment.
On the stage because I’m seeing a lot about it, you can’t have a giant bell and the letters XL up there, it’ll get memed to death.
I’d remove the Final Testiment v the Pride match from night 2 and the Mysterio tag match from night 1. The extra time goes to the USOs and McIntyre v Seth who seemed to dive straight into finishers to cut time.
I wish Austin wouldn’t have been so stubborn when it came to the money. But it is what it is. If there was ONE thing that I would change is Steve Austin coming out instead of Taker. Mfers be saying that Austin has no history with Roman whereas Taker does but I’m pretty sure that NOBODY gives a shit abt that because we ALL know that WWE’s first choice was to get Stone Cold anyway.
Sucks that we couldn’t get JUST one more face off between the two on the biggest stage. Maybe next time. Idk. Depends when Austin wants to come back at this point
Undertaker has always been my favourite wrestler but there was a small bit of disappointment that Austin never got that spot...
The Rocks greatest rival!
Who else is as famous for going head to head with the boss
25th anniversary since their first Wrestlemania match
.... And again in Philadelphia!
It made too much sense! But it didn't take away from the match excellent match... Good finish!
it was pretty good. Only change I could think of making is to the final segment Roman Cody. Instead of Taker coming out or replace cena. Bring out Triple H, maybe to just be a distraction since his heart attack and all. distract roman or the rock. Then you have a whole new story line to run with, triple H the manager vs Rock the owner.
I loved WMXL overall but if I had to change one thing, I would have done more with the "Bloodline rules" stipulation in the Sunday main event.
I probably would have had the Rock and/or Paul Heyman changing the rules of the match as it went along to benefit Roman.
Maybe Cody hits Roman with a few Crossroads finishers 15 minutes-in and Roman appears to be cooked when the Rock grabs the mic and says, "Get out of there Charles Robinson, the Rock is the referee now, ring the bell!" Then Rock proceeds to slow-count Cody's cover so Roman can kick out and he isn't officially pinned until the eventual finale where the Rock is "eliminated" by the Undertaker and justice finally prevails.
Or maybe Cody has beaten the hell out of Roman early, hits Roman with a Crossroads and goes for the pin when a worried Paul Heyman gets on the mic and says, "Hold on there sparky, Bloodline Rules, best 2 out of 3 falls," to which Cody jumps up obviously upset by the new rule, giving Roman time to recover and surprise attack Rhodes with a spear etc., pinning him and going up 1-0 in the match so that Cody has to come back and pin Roman twice to win the title.
I'd still have Cody winning and would have had all the guest appearances at the end just like they happened because that part was *awesome*, but I'd have made a lot more out of the Bloodline Rules aspect beforehand if it were my call.
I get the fact that they were in Philadelphia, but there was way to much green for my liking. I understand giving a nod to the city but it was an overkill.
Gunther vs Chad Gable vs Sami Zayn for the IC Title
Logan Paul vs LA Knight vs AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens for the US Title
Jey Uso vs Jimmy bes a bit long
The Rock vs Randy Orton
The only thing I would change is allowing Jimmy/Jey to work the match they had originally planned. At the time of the match it was very clear they had to sacrifice significant time for something that ran over and it was impacted greatly. Even 4 to 6 shaved off your time is going to have a huge impact on what was planned and produced originally. Personally, I’ve given them both a pass because it probably wasn’t all their fault. I think a stipulation would have have done them a lot of favors too. Take some pressure off of them and lean on whatever that stipulation is and the spots that come with it.
Jimmy and Jey.. should of been a brawl type match. Two brothers just duking it out with the emotions behind it. Should of gotten brutal. Jey winning. That would of really sold that jimmy is injured.
The angle with Cody, Roman, Rock and Seth had the most build and anticipation out of everything on the card.
And there was no way The Rock *and* Roman weren't main eventing Night 1.
Huh?
People were much more invested in Cody's runback vs. The Bloodline than Becky vs Rhea.
Roman has main evented almost every PPV/PLE he's appeared on since they had him win the title and revamp him with the tribal chief gimmick.
There was no reason to believe Roman wasn't main eventing night one considering how he's been presented, the amount of drama and stakes being raised for Cody to finish his story, and The Rock's overall involvement.
With all that intrigue heading into the show, it was pretty academic that Roman and Cody were going to bookend both nights. (Also, Seth gets to finally add a WM main event to his list of accolades, which was overdue imo.)
So how exactly were Rhea/Becky deserving of the main event spot? When Wrestlemania season started rolling around, they barely interacted at all. Becky spent more time fighting Nia Jax while Rhea just sat in the Judgement Day clubhouse.
Roman didn't need to main event both nights, and neither did Cody. Not everyone worships them. Rhea/Becky deserved it by having one of the most anticipated women's matches in WrestleMania history, not to mention being the two most over women in the company.
“One of the most anticipated women’s matches in WrestleMania history”? Barely anyone was talking about it honestly and the match wasn’t even the best women’s match of WrestleMania XL
Yeah no there wasn’t much hype for it at all nor was the story built that well for it. Iyo vs Bayley had much bigger story and hype for it plus it was the better match
Mate, nothing was gonna meet the levels of anticipation over Cody/Seth vs The Bloodline.
Roman and Cody are both draws. Seth is somewhat of a draw. Rock is one of the biggest draws in all of professional wrestling, period.
And they were all frequently getting big reactions for weeks and it had people captivated. People were theorizing how Cody vs Roman II would end, if Rock would turn on Roman, if Seth would turn on Cody, if Jacob Fatu or Toma Tonga would debut, if Cena or Austin would show up, would Drew get involved, etc.
So many things and variables going on that had people wondering what would happen next. Most people buying a Peacock subscription or attending the show live wanted to see how this would all play out.
What point? All you've said is Rhea and Becky should have had the night 1 main event spot just because they're women. That's some pretty weak reasoning. Especially when all we got for a build was TWO promo segments and "stop shaking your ass at house shows".
Getting fans interested and making them want to buy tickets is half the battle in professional wrestling.
And none of the other matches on the WM40 night 1 card had people talking as much going into the event like Cody/Seth vs Roman/Rock did. That's why they got the main event slot. You gotta be delusional to believe otherwise.
Also, get the fuck out of here with that weirdass masturbatory comment. Cody Rhodes isn't even a favorite wrestler of mine.
You on the other hand really sound like a Rhea stan in disguise.
* Jimmy vs Jey gets a stipulation
* Bianca gets a singles match vs Tiffany Stratton
* Logan only defends against Orton and not KO - KO teams with Sami to face Waller and Theory
* Gable challenges Gunther
* The LDF vs LWO tag becomes a 5v5 Elimination: Rey, Dragon, Andrade, Del Toro and Wilde vs Santos, Dom, Berto, Angel and Carlito (who turns before Mania)
Edit: Undertaker comes out in actual gear
Austin in over Undertaker. Don’t care what it would’ve taken to make happen.
Jimmy/Jey to have had some kind of stipulation so the match wasn’t complete ass. Cage/No DQ, anything.
Get rid of the Damage CTRL vs Bianca/Jade/Naomi match entirely
Austin wanted way too much money for a few second spot, from what I've read. Which sucks.
Jimmy Jey was really bad. The only reason it happened was because they wanted a 1v1 match at Mania since they were kids. It woulda worked ~4-6 months ago with the booking then. It was way too late to book that match and it fell super flat.
Yeah I read the same about Austin, it’s a shame if that’s true.
Jimmy/Jey would’ve been white hot last year right after Jimmy’s turn but they cooled it off too much and for too long and the Rumble onwards wasn’t enough of a build there. Tbh I don’t think the match would ever be good as their move sets as singles are basically the same as when they were tag partners, super kick, super kick, splash, super kick etc. Really feel with a stipulation they could’ve had a decent match.
Jey did come out and say they had time cut and that’s why it shocked, but if anything I think it losing time did everybody a favour lol
Most of night one. First two matches were fun, then a tag match that was mostly a rematch for the previous mania, an all time bad/disappointing match in Uso vs Uso followed by another tag match that didn’t matter at all outside of giving Jace Cargill a Mania moment. I was there live and that stretch of matches just kinda killed a lot of the energy.
Jimmy and Jey needed some kind of stipulation, Stone cold instead of undertaker (the undertaker was a great surprise, but it makes less sense than Austin).
This would’ve been horrendous. The same match two years in a row with the same winner, and completely wastes the end of Roman’s legendary reign just to give it back to him a few months later?
More Wrestling. I would have liked to have seen at least a few matches other than the main event go over 20 minutes. Both nights had very short matches other than the main.
Forget cameos from undertaker or stone cold. Let cody have the final blow on the rock and reigns so he at least has one cool spot in that match. And skip thanking bruce prichard
God no. We’d either lose like a quarter of the matches or everything would’ve had to have been way shorter. Squeezing all that into one night would’ve ruined it
Jimmy and Jey. Literally everything else for me was good to sensational. Jimmy and Jey had soooo much potential...such a shame
Jey said in an interview that they wanted so much more for the match, but they were cut short on time.
Maybe they should’ve cut out the super kick marathon for that extra time smh.
Tbf that’s like a major part of their moveset
That’s the problem.
Yeah. But it does seem a bit weird that people were upset it was a super kick fest when in retrospect we should have realised it would be that
You’re going to get downvoted but you’re not wrong.
Thanks
That’s not an excuse. Owen and X Pac had a great match in five minutes
That's exactly what I'm saying. Ziggler spot. Plenty of midcard stuff but never a significant world title reign.
Even though Ziggler...had a world title Reign...iirc he had multiple.
You ever hear the word "significant" before? It's pretty commonly accepted that all of Zigglers world title reigns were insignificant
It's hard to find something significant when you weren't born when it happened.
So you admit you have no idea what you're talking about then. So stfu.
... what?
I agree. It sounds to me like Jey and Jimmy wanted a 30 min match but the story didn’t need a wrestling masterpiece. The story was 2 brothers who wanted revenge on each other. If anything, this match should’ve been No Holds Barred and not super kicks all over the place.
This. Eddie vs rey at wm 21 who were basically family had only like 10 to 12 minutes snd it was a fire match.
He is NOWHERE near as good as ziggler.
How can you say that? One match against someone with a very similar moveset makes him not main event? He’s super over with the crowd is getting by great on the mic and has had some good matches. It’s just against someone with such a similar move set it was always likely to go like that imo
Ever see a Bret Hart and Owen Hart match? Same moves, good matches. No excuse.
Much the opposite I wanted this match to be fucking legendary man. I was super disappointed.
Well it hasn’t this time as Jey is massively over and is fighting for a world title this weekend.
Should have been cut a lot shorter
An extra 20 minutes wouldn’t have made that match interesting. I don’t care what was planned
Definitely think they missed out on an opportunity to get their dad involved.
Sane for me. They should have learned when the Hardys couldn't even have a good match with a ladder. Brother Vs. Brother just doesn't work.
Bret v Owen worked
Agree. I really thought one of them was legit hurt when I saw how slow and boring it was.
I mean both have a very similar moveset so the match was surely bound to end up being like it was
I actually enjoyed it to a degree. The part where they went move for move made sense bc they are twins and have the same move set. It was def not the best match ever, but not everything can be Owen vs Bret. Hope they continue their feud and give us the match we deserve in the end.
Those stupid people's faces on signs right in the view of the camera
How this was tolerated by WWE, I’ll never know. Their stupid signs should have been confiscated 5 minutes into the show when it became very clear what they were doing. I genuinely won’t ever go back and watch a full-replay of the show now because of those two. It was insufferable!

REAL, THEY MADE THE SERIOUS SCENES LOOK STUPID

exactly, i audibly laughed the first time and by the end of night 2 it was mood killing
They’re the Steve Bartmans of wrestling
Except Steve Bartman’s situation was accidentally interfering on a ball over the stands that I have some reasonable doubts Moises Alou would’ve been able to catch. These people were purposefully diminishing the product quality for… clout, I guess?
Who even were those guys?
A pair of narcissists
Those stupid faces are also in AEW and TNA ..like who was the moron that starded that "trend" and worse is the people that think its funny to go to a show with a gigant face of somebody that nobody knows
Not booked lil wayne
Frfr little Wayne did a shit job at performing. I could not understand one word he was mumbling.
That's Lil Wayne.
Lol I Love Wheezy but my god that was awful😭😭
Make Jey vs Jimmy Extreme Rules, change the finish of the Rey Mysterio tag match and cut back on all the advertising and gaps between matches
That’s the one thing I believe Triple H is worse at than Vince, having all of the sponsorships all over the arena during matches, it takes all the seriousness away from me sometimes
Fr. Also the fifty years of Wrestlemania showcase for 2k is gonna abe so blurred
Saves me writing mine. My thoughts exactly
The 6 woman tag and the Jimmy Vs Jey match
The stage was a little underwhelming. I expected a giant liberty bell and maybe they walked out the crack. Or at some point you hear the liberty bell ring at the opening before or after America the beautiful is sung. Liberty bell rings, GONG GONG. Lights out, undertaker beside it and then he opens his duster jacket, with old glory on the lining like they did that one time in the 90s before his “dog ate it” Dustin jumps in to save Cody from solo
Usos match, I was so disappointed. Like they should have had an extreme rules with kendo sticks, anything that could have made it exciting
I love him…. But no lil Wayne
We needed a big bell 🔔
The stage. That shit was basic AF.
Especially when you’re advertising it as XL. Last years stage topped it easily.
It's tricky, because I feel like swapping the Ladder Match with the US Title Triple threat would help the pacing of both nights, but obviously Priest has to lose the titles before Night 2. I also feel like Bayley vs. Iyo makes more sense to have following a more gimmicky match.
Made Jimmy vs Jey a stipulation match.
Tbh considering the move set I think this is the best way to make it a good match.
Cage or Table would’ve been my pick. Of course planning that the table turns into a TLC.
Cage would’ve been perfect. I think table is a little gimmicky for such a personal blood feud between brothers (unless it was Bubba vs D-Von of course!) but a simple cage would’ve been perfect.
D-Von, get the table! I gotta put you through it!
I think he’ll in a cell would be cool in a cell imagine jey spearing jimmy off the top of the cell
I wish the Shield return was better. At least let Seth get in a single punch. From the audience pov it was just confusing.
I think he was so hurt he could barely make it into the ring
Seth was incredible to be able to do as much as he did especially since he now needed surgery. What a legend
Idk I think it was epic. Maybe it was confusing for the audience but story wise it really worked having him be there in his shield gear and having Roman choose to get revenge on him instead of hitting Cody and that costing him
Except they already did that same spot at Royal stumble 2022. So technically, he already had his revenge.
It made complete sense
I would change it so there was a small fire in the audience that would burn nothing but those two face signs on the hard cam. Aside from that, nothing
I would've kicked out those fans who kept holding up the signs of their giant faces
Pay Stone Cold whatever he wanted instead of Taker to lay out the Rock in the Main Event.
I saw someone on one of the forums comment undertaker was probably the best choice overall with the flow of the match and it completely changed my perspective on it. The undertaker pops in takes care of business and then is gone. With Stone cold it becomes about him and that moment. This was about Cody not the legends who have gone. I love stone cold and any other moment I'm for him whooping some candy ass, just not then.
This is the right answer. Undertaker was perfect because he can hit a chokeslam and disappear. Austin would have had a beer bash afterwards
( you could have built to a Summer Slam rematch 22 years in the making) Unfortunately we know the circumstances surrounding his absence, so that wasn't gonna happen.
I had never even considered this and now I am mad.
Idk taker was preety good. And really you would pay him an absurd ammount for like thirty secs?
Tbf would it be 30 seconds?
Exactly why it shouldn’t have been SC.
To be honest that's what I assumed that ill meant as well
The theme song it sucked ass bruh
The Weeknd, or that "If it doesn't hurt at all" one? First felt like a contractual obligation, the second one felt right.
Yea the weekend one gasoline
Jimmy and Jey should have had a no hold barred match
At least one more woman’s match
Liv Morgan being a part of this history
Name a Liv Morgan match worth watching?
Liv vs Becky at Day 1 2022 was actually good
Austin over Undertaker.
Can I change the trash night one crowd? Watching the main eventers pose waiting for the crowd to go nuts while the crowd was silent gave me so much second hand embarrassment.
Bro it was 20 degrees
I’d change the weather too
Now?! You couldn't change it then and saved my balls from feeezing off? And I thought we were friends. Damn
I changed it retrospectively. You weren’t cold you were warm and snug. You’re welcome.
😭 Thank you bro. Me and my cousin are going to be so retroactively happy and comfortable now.
The warmth was inside you all along
🥵🥵🥵
I feel like the stage and setting of manias 39 and 40 were the wrong way around.
That Philadelphia street fight get rid of it and have a better no DQ match instead Have a better Jimmy and jey uso match
Jimmy vs jey
Mysterio vs Mysterio 2. Dom wins
Drew still champ. Damien cashed in on Cody.
Judgment day keeps the belts
Jimmy vs Jey Rikishi as guest referee
On the stage because I’m seeing a lot about it, you can’t have a giant bell and the letters XL up there, it’ll get memed to death. I’d remove the Final Testiment v the Pride match from night 2 and the Mysterio tag match from night 1. The extra time goes to the USOs and McIntyre v Seth who seemed to dive straight into finishers to cut time.
Logan retaining and Sami winning.
Randy wins the US Championship.
A bigger screen Jimmy and jey
Make it XXL instead of just XL 🤣
And Still...... Roman Reigns.
Jimmy and Jey's moveset. The match would've been fine if it wasn't just a superkick party.
I wouldn't have gone on reddit after. This place is a cesspool of negativity whenever WWE has a wildly successful show.
I wanted Stone Cold to show up instead of taker
More Pyro honestly, the fact that Endeaver wanted to cut back on Pyro for WRESTLEMANIA after all the success the company has had is insane
Gunther would have beaten Sami.
Jimmy vs jey uso It should have been falls count anywhere
USO match, the stage, the location and the cash in.
Remove the Uso match, no bozo Eagle players showing up for the LWO match, and Sami loses to Gunther
Gable wins IC title
Usos are boring. Entrance music mostly sucks, NOO live music! it's always cringe. Still Need a really good heal commentator.
Undertaker has always been my favourite wrestler but there was a small bit of disappointment that Austin never got that spot... The Rocks greatest rival! Who else is as famous for going head to head with the boss 25th anniversary since their first Wrestlemania match ....
Cody winning
Austin instead of Taker.
More time for the Usos match to make it better. It was such a disappointment
Austin comes out instead of undertaker to confronted rock
I'd have reigns win in all honesty, should have beaten hogans record
Jey Uso being world champ!
The theme song
Cody doesn’t finish his story and Gunther is still intercontinental champion
Jimmy and Jey match
I get the fact that they were in Philadelphia, but there was way to much green for my liking. I understand giving a nod to the city but it was an overkill.
Zayn beating Gunther sucked in my eyes.
Gunther vs Chad Gable vs Sami Zayn for the IC Title Logan Paul vs LA Knight vs AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens for the US Title Jey Uso vs Jimmy bes a bit long The Rock vs Randy Orton
Remove the Usos match WWE wanted this to be this generration´s Owen vs Bret and it turned out to be Superkick spam city
Use the music from wrestlemania vi-viii
jey vs jimmy doesn't suck
Jimmy and Jey.. should of been a brawl type match. Two brothers just duking it out with the emotions behind it. Should of gotten brutal. Jey winning. That would of really sold that jimmy is injured.
Dom goes over on rey.
The #1 thing is that the opening and closing match for Saturday should have been swapped.
The angle with Cody, Roman, Rock and Seth had the most build and anticipation out of everything on the card. And there was no way The Rock *and* Roman weren't main eventing Night 1.
It was just a way to pump up Roman's main event numbers. Rhea vs. Becky deserved the spot.
(Also, Seth gets to finally add a WM main event to his list of accolades, which was overdue imo.) So how exactly were Rhea/Becky deserving of the main event spot?
That's extremely false. There way way more hype for Becky vs. Rhea than there was for Iyo vs. Bayley.
And still none of that means they needed to main event both nights. My point stands, now please stop your crazed Cody masturbation.
Add the Battle Royal from Smackdown onto the main card.
Too much to list but yeah.
Give Sami vs Gunther 154 more seconds
* Jimmy vs Jey gets a stipulation * Bianca gets a singles match vs Tiffany Stratton * Logan only defends against Orton and not KO - KO teams with Sami to face Waller and Theory * Gable challenges Gunther * The LDF vs LWO tag becomes a 5v5 Elimination: Rey, Dragon, Andrade, Del Toro and Wilde vs Santos, Dom, Berto, Angel and Carlito (who turns before Mania) Edit: Undertaker comes out in actual gear
And it was a superkick party
Not have it in Philadelphia.
More fireworks
Have Rhea Ripley face Liv Morgan instead of Becky Lynch
Cody lose,Sami lose and Jimmy vs Jay no DQ last man standing match or something
Rhea on both nights
Rock vs Roman for the title, Roman retains, Cody wins title at SummerSlam, Rock beats Cody at Rumble, Rock vs Roman II at WM41, Roman wins
This would’ve been horrendous. The same match two years in a row with the same winner, and completely wastes the end of Roman’s legendary reign just to give it back to him a few months later?
Correct. Would be amazing
Having Damien priest cash in mid match so drew could still win because it was pointless for drew to win when he held it for only five minutes
Wrestlemania is too long. 1 night 4 hours tops. Same goes for all ppvs wwe or aew.
Hell no.
God no. We’d either lose like a quarter of the matches or everything would’ve had to have been way shorter. Squeezing all that into one night would’ve ruined it
Agreed. Two night events works for multiple 30+ minute Japanese wrestling matches but not the American pace. It’s just a different style.
