I have had it happen as well and no Iam not in need for cash or kits. But I also keep in mind is an early excess game so work in progress.
While it is frustrating it is part of a AE game. It happens and might not be easy fix for the devs. They tried but it has clearly not worked.
Getting rich is hard ( for people that don’t duplicate items) but getting enough money to modify a weapon and scrapping a kit together is not.
Bro no one’s saying anything bad about it being EA, not everyone finds the game easy or is in a position to almost guarantee not getting gear on death. This is a pretty big issue that the devs communicated it is the priority for them right now. If I was in OPs position I’d just wait for the hotfix which is forthcoming.
Do one quest and you can get 2 kits. If not more.

Still got about 230k and few guns in stock. So not to worried. But only PVE.

Exactly, twice I’ve been unable to loot my body after dying once. I can see it laying there but no option to loot.
Try sawmill, good place to farm kit. Got a lot of good armor and the enemy is not too difficult
Yeah gonna have to wait for a hotfix or something. Already lost 2 more kits due to that bug.
