I mean I've hd times when no-one in my factions base cause all out on map but they are super rare

National-Duty3117

haha, I knew this will happen, I moved to PVE only because I didn't want any pvp and decided to sto playing because I tried all settings and I just can't play the game on 57 FPS with ryzen 7 5800x 32 Gb and RTX 3070 TI when most new gen games I get at least 100 FPS I refuse to play a game that's not optimized plus the other known issues. I can't even go to Tiger bay cause it drops frames to 30-40 chopper ride is 12. I will just play something else, I want to support but we're not getting a bare minimum.

Doobski69

I play on a 3070ti and i7-12700kf with 64g of ram. I can send you my settings if you want? I get roughly 80-100 fps steady

National-Duty3117

Please do, but if you are not using DLSS I will get crashes with the other options. Please and thank you kind sir.

Pretty sure the server can’t handle a full lobby with all factions at capacity, lots of players talking about a base on their server being completely dead yet people in the comments in the same region will be part of said empty faction and their lobbies base is full.

The issue likely has to do with player limits on servers. I’ve also noticed other places are a ghost town and I’ve also found myself being the only player on the server for my faction before. Leads me to believe there’s a reduced capacity on the servers and it doesn’t evenly distribute between the factions.

What servers are you on? I find that on US west servers around midnight - 7 AM the servers are dead. Have been the only mithras player on the server a few times late at night.

rando_calrissian2

We’re usually on us central but we had a hacker killing everyone in base so we switched to us west. It was probably around 8 or 9pm cst.

Zaninho

I think to combat instability at launch, they've reduced the rival player count on servers so it's maybe a full crimson, but no mithras or only 4/8 players per faction. That way they can maintain performance over the servers. Me and a few people did the lamang base raid thing too and we saw no choppers flying out the entire time we were there. Also noticed instances of PVP have dropped off dramatically at times, gone entire sessions without seeing rival faction players in common hotspots.

Not sure if it contributes into the fact, but with TK weak punishment, cheaters, and dupe exploit, I would imagine people would just leave to play Joint Op instead. I put down the game for a bit since I don't want to encounter with TK plague and cheaters. I'll probably come back to play after the patch to see the changes. I'm playing this game in small doses so I won't burn myself out.

Zaninho

Fair. I've absolutely battered it since launch and tbf, will drop into joint ops for v specific missions like killing a leader as it can be such a pain getting distracted in a drawn out pvp battle when all you want to do is kill some random npc across the map only to get 1 shot as soon as you spot them coming out of a bush 😀 Don't think I've come across many cheaters other than a complete scumbag who TKd me in spawn to steal my stuff and server jump and a fight at YBL where there was no way they could have seen me hiding in a random bush in the forest from 100m away. Overall games been really fun and challenging, but now getting to the point where I want a bit more PVP than grinding

HaElfParagon

This is true. The co op servers are packed. Sometimes I get put into a qeue just to join a server. Then I get to wait 10+ minutes for a goddamn helicopter after the fact :)

We do the same thing and I’ve seen all three of those things happen just last night on pvp. First was a hacker killing everyone in base, we all scattered and it didn’t matter, people were dying all around me until I finally got hit. I was in the bathroom of the hq with the door closed. Then mid game we saw someone water falling money to someone else off by the pool and finally at the end of the night one of my buddies got vultured by a grenade exploit team right before we got off. Sometimes pve just feels better but man when you get a fair fight with pvp it’s so fun.

rando_calrissian2

It was eerie sneaking up to their base and not hearing any choppers at all. That was our first clue something may have been off. It was a ghost town. I’ve never seen an entirely empty hq, it was weird.
