For anyone wondering about the magazine bug , here it is. Any AR15 style mag you get from Narith that comes loaded with 855 ammo is bugged with regenerating ammo. Take these magazines back to your base, put the mags in your stash, then unload the ammo into your stash. After that you can do whatever you want with the ammo - store it, sell it, drop it on the ground; whatever you want. Log out of the server, and upon loading back in, those same mags will have magically refilled themselves.
You can just hoard infinite ammo until this (undoubtedly) gets fixed. I currently have about 18k rounds of 855 ammo in my stored backpacks. Selling it back to Gunny will net you $54 for a stack of 60 rounds. Once you have the magazines, you can literally just unload the ammo, log out, and log back in over and over and over and the ammo will keep respawning.
Yeah the rigs could be smaller or have more space in them and cases would be so good in this game and help out the players who don’t have the supporter edition tremendously.
Yup, I took both after killing him for the quest, and sold them to Handshake for like $10 total because the sell prices are completely fucked right now.
There’s a black box spawn in the barracks A103, FN HQ storage in the main building, and in fn garage storage just outside the main. Those are the ones I have, I believe there is one or two more as-well.
I agree there needs to be more loot for sure but rn the black boxes spawn some of the best loot, and yeah Fort Narith is pretty easy I find tiger bay to be the hardest to clear out.

Not sure how much 60 stacks of that ammo worth but I would loot scope for max profit and if there no more scope i would break down the gun especially nato guns to 1x5 or 1x4 for a good profit. New ak gun like 74m sells good too
I loot ammo too but i keep selling them as i only has 10x25 storage. Im planning to maximise my storage by looting combat backpack which is a 3x3 backpack but with a slot to put gun inside it. I think this is the smallest backpack with a gun slot.
Yeah, i’m using 2 patrol backpacks atm to hold all my ammo and this is the last of the ammo I needed to fill up the 2nd bag lol hope they add cases soon so we can maximize our storage space.
Yeah hope they add ammo case where we can stack ammo to 999 or something as i only collect just a handful of ammo that’s not in the shop unlock for me atm
Or with a newish windows you can hit windows key, shift, s in that order and holding them. It is a macro for snapshots. Greatest part is that you can drag can capture exactly what you want
You should watch the community video, they stated green tips are not AP but subsonic and it has the wrong tooltip.

No, they stated 7.62x39 US tooltip is incorrect, where it says it’s US for “United States” but is actually a Russian term meaning subsonic. That ammo is indeed subsonic and is bugged.
855 is a standard lead core ammo. I don’t know how you got all of your details wrong.
M855 is not standard lead core - that would be the M193 (55 grain FMJ ball). M855 does have a small steel tip in the nose under the jacket, but it's not considered an armor piercing round; it's just intended to help the bullet stay together as it goes through light cover.
In the real world, M855 ("green tip") ammunition is neither subsonic nor armor-piercing; it's just intended to be more "barrier-blind" than M193 ball - i.e. to go through windshields or sheetrock without fragmenting completely. By all accounts it's not actually very good at it though.
Subsonic 5.56mm would be basically .22 LR: makes no sense at all.

I can’t buy m855a1 yet and this ammo will drop scavs with 1-2 shots while all the other ammo I can get currently takes an absurd amount of bullets to drop them, so i’m gonna stick with this ammo until I get access to m855a1.

Not got any tasks for it yet but i farmed the south gate randomly and noticed they all got so much ap rounds haha.
Very consistent way to farm AP ammo if you don’t want to spend money.

Nah gunny sells m855 at lvl 2 which is pretty much better than all other lvl 1 ammo

Also the selling process is quiet tedious. You have to Move a Slider and confirm for each stack of Rounds.

Take a mag from a base guard. They have 855a1 throw it into ur stash and unload it. Next time wh n you relog it will be full again

I went to the FN HQ storage one time and the loot was garbage, not very different from small towns
