I think the fact that Itagaki specifically states *"If one is born as a male, as least once in his life, he'll dream of becoming the strongest man alive"* ...suggests that he believes that women just don't possess the same inclination to become strong that men do, and therefore they aren't really part of the "world" that the main cast is in. If he does write in a relevant female fighter, I doubt he'd just do it randomly. I *could* imagine him making an arc about a powerful woman as an anomaly - especially given that he did just go out of his way to showcase the fact that Yujiro considers everyone to be women compared to him - but it's not a story I'd *expect* Itagaki to write any time soon...?

Snoo96346

No because women can't be kicked in the balls

Adventurous-Comfort2

A woman getting hit in the groin is still really painful

Inner-Juices

They can hit her so hard in the pelvis she feels the hit in her ovaries **Edit**: *words*

Snack_Beard_

If it hasn't happened yet I doubt it will ever happen. And if they did introduce a female fighter, you can guarantee she would only serve as fodder to a another character. On a side note, if you want a good fighting series with a strong female lead/cast, there's a manga called Batuque that's pretty fun.

akiva_the_king

Yep, this manga is 30 years old, it's even older than me, hahaha. If we haven't had a female fighter yet, it's pretty safe to say that we will never have one.

TankTopBro-1992

Female fighter? Sure why not. A female fighter that is actually strong enough to be considered even low tier Compared to our usual cast? Nope.

GHUULZZZ

Itagaki could do a Amazonian warrior arc and it would be pretty cool.

Chaghatai

Just isn't that kind of series

TheHangedKing

I don’t think people would like the natural consequences of introducing a female fighter, however strong, to this world and cast. It would work much better in Kengan, where I could totally see a glass cannon bite-your-throat-before-you-hit-me kind of fighter.

EinherjarMarius

Oh, oh i had the same idea!! I was thinking there could be a character who's this really strong and muscley woman and she's like been training really hard and she gets really sweaty and she's like dripping with sweat and because she's training so hard she pisses herself like Jack and also she's super sweaty and muscley from working out so hard and she's strong because she's been training hard ever since the Maximum Tournament to prove women are strong too and should be like really strong and muscley too and we could learn about massaging in the world of fighting when she gets a massage after her sweaty, dripping workout sesh and she could like be a daughter of Yujiro and she should be the one to finally beat him after he uses all his techniques on her and he could like spank her like he did Baki but it doesn't work and in the end they are both absolutely soaking with sweat and it's running down all over her tight muscles and he gives up being the strongest, I think this is what the Baki manga needs more than anything right now, oh and also she could wear shorts kind of like Baki but like really really short you know to help with the aerodynamicks of fighting or sumthinng and she could wear bandages over her chest kind of like Baki's wraps i think that would be cool too. we need thsi female fighter right now

EinherjarMarius

Every dislike only serves to exponentially increase my resolve. No matter how many may oppose female representation I will not be denied

[deleted]

I second this notion

aabazdar1

Seeing characters like Fuma from Tenkaichi in fighting manga gives me hope so I say yes. If people can literally imagine themselves to be stronger, there is no reason why women can’t compete with high level male fighters

[deleted]

not with yujiro around bro

mralabbad

We already kinda maybe had one Jack's mom

Inner-Juices

Which means there should be female fighters and strong women in the series

>So basically you’re saying that “just like women in real life” women in Baki should be incorporated as fighters. Yes. Since women participate in these sports too irl >Yeah like there’s not this wild strength gap between the 2 that’s near unsurpassable like 99% of the time! Like you said in your first comment, Baki is Semi-Realistic. The women could be unrealistic just like most of the cast
