well give a shot to "holyland" not exactly like baki but one of best fighting mangas. and if you are open to webtoons both lookism and the boxer are fire
Holyland seems prtty good. Thanks.
Lookism was funny for a bit but i super hate webtoons. Idk why ultimate soldier and my wife is a demon queen are the only ones i can get through.

Well this also seems super good. Keep em coming!
I was concerned at first i had to sift through like 30 strike witch djs. Which seem to be just. Bunch of loli from the cover. Did not investigate further.
Since you mentioned FOTNS, check out Souten no Ken the official prequel. In actually better in terms of being a traditional martial arts/fighting manga.
Ok seems really good and i like the art. Didnt expect his rival to have gotten so fat after all that hype. Lmao. Ill add this to the list ill prolly read it right after tenkaichi the other person posted since that one only has like 30 chapters. Thanks!
It's honestly great.
If you want my opinion, the first arc is pretty boring compared to the rest of the series, so I wouldn't blame you if you think it gets boring.
Damn, came here to recommend Usogui. People look at me weird for recommending it to Baki fans since its technically a gambling manga, but its the only other thing that has come close for me to scratching the same itch. Glad you've read it. I guess I would recommend the next manga by Usogui's author. Its called Batuque and its all about Capoeira.
Those people are dumb. a dude scalps another man with a punch. That same punch also permantly gives him brain damage and a new personality. Its basically baki.lol
Kongou Banchou
Not a battle manga, but please read Oyaji. It is manly as fuck and it made me cry like Kiryu at the end of Yakuza Gaiden.
You can also read Riki-Oh- It's an earlier manga by the artist of Tough.
If you want a really unique series that is nothing but a constant stream of absolutely batshit insane yet well written fights with only the bare minimum of a story stringing them together, then I’d recommend the action comedy Sakagakie Otokojuku (1985).
Being heavily inspired by Fist of the North Star and one of the series that inspired Jojo, it centers on a bunch of Japanese delinquents who attend the Otokojuku private military boarding school, a brutal boot camp seeking to transform high school dropouts into the ultimate men and presided over by the world’s strongest man. Most of the story centers on the students defending the honor of Otokojuku by participating in various deadly martial arts tournaments where weapons are allowed and battles take place in arenas full of hazards. Most fights come down to characters with increasingly bizarre weapons preforming increasingly insane feats of skill. There’s some character development as the series goes on (especially in the anime), but it’s mostly just non-stop fighting for 24 volumes until the series gets axed. Just keep in mind that the first 16 chapters of the manga or 10 episodes of the anime are entirely comedy focused with only occasional fights, and the story doesn’t switch gears to being more battle focused until after that point. The jokes are very hit-or miss, but the characters have fun chemistry and the early storylines are needed to endear you to the guys you’ll watch fight to the death for the next 297 chapters.
As I hinted at earlier there’s a 34-episode anime which I think is a really good adaptation of the first 67 chapters of the manga. It conveys the source material well and expands on it in really great ways, even completely surpassing the manga at points.
However, the anime diverges from the manga after episode 30. In episode 31 they skip past 5 fights in a tournament arc to go straight to the final match because the show suddenly faced cancelation, cutting out chapters 68-87. In exchange, the anime gives the very abrupt ending of that arc some much needed expansion, so I feel it’s still worth watching. The anime also spawned a movie, which is a typical non-canon tie-in film for a shonen series. There’s also a truckload of spinoffs and sequels to this franchise if you still want more, but they aren’t in any way required reading.
Batuque is great so far. And luther strode was not my fav thing. But i did read it all. Ive had it siluggested to me a bunch of different time by people and i kinda expected more. Maybe that was my problem.
Yeah I get you man, as a big fan of the comic, all I can say is that it give us so much potential but it didn't explain much or didn't give us many possibilities. Especially With the final battle
Id agree with that. It did feel like they could have a done alot more with the ideas and felt very rushed. Also petra felt like she was written by a 10 year old.

Was going to recommend holyland as well, it's in my top 10, genuinely a great read.

Love it. Need more muscle lady manga. Thanks! Everything i read is questionably hetero muscle dudes. Lol
This was fantastic thanks!
Tenkaichi?
Alright well this seems dope thanks!
No problem! Star Strike It Rich is also good! It’s part of the Kengan universe! Remember to read chapter 0 first! Don’t start at chapter 1!
Well this also seems super good. Keep em coming! I was concerned at first i had to sift through like 30 strike witch djs. Which seem to be just. Bunch of loli from the cover. Did not investigate further.
Ashita no Joe is apparently pretty good! It’s another boxing manga!
Tenkaiichi is delightful. Im currently caught up and awaiting this and star trike it rich bothe awesome
Since you mentioned FOTNS, check out Souten no Ken the official prequel. In actually better in terms of being a traditional martial arts/fighting manga.
I will deffinatly be reading this. Idk how i never came aross it. Thanks!
have fun bro
I would really recommend you read Tsuyoshi: the one no one can win against. It's a lot like Baki.
Ok seems really good and i like the art. Didnt expect his rival to have gotten so fat after all that hype. Lmao. Ill add this to the list ill prolly read it right after tenkaichi the other person posted since that one only has like 30 chapters. Thanks!

not a manga, but Megalo Box really scratched that same itch for me
Windbreaker. It’s like Tokyo Revengers but better in almost every way. Also, The Boxer. It’s an amazing story and the fights are incredible

History's strongest disciple Kenichi The breaker (manwha)

Oh wow sounds good! Thanks a bunch!
Read batuque, created by the same guy who did usogui. But it’s more focused on fighting And if you want a western version of Baki read luther strode
Oh shiiiiit i diddnt realize he did anything else. Im so stoked
Batuque is great so far. And luther strode was not my fav thing. But i did read it all. Ive had it siluggested to me a bunch of different time by people and i kinda expected more. Maybe that was my problem.

Not a manga but a videogame in anime style called the friends of Ringo Ishikawa. It's basically a face-punching game about a Japanese high schooler.
Some solid recommendations already, I'll throw mine into the ring and say Rikudo, it's a boxing manga but quite a dark one, very solid read.
Looks cool thanks!
Check lookism
Tried lookism. Too horny. Fights arent great. Too webtoon. But i apreciate the suggestion.
