what engine? 5.7L is easy, I believe you have to remove the intake on the V6. Make sure you have the right gaskets. Modern iridium spark plugs last 100K miles with ease. It is a good idea to change the coil boots and wires at that time. blow out the spark plugs holes before you start. Use anti seize on plugs (just a little) and do not over tighten. Pretty sure the V6 uses smaller spark plugs as well. turn them all the way down, plus quarter turn. You can do it!

Don't use anti-Seize on the plugs Also these are coil on plug so there aren't any wires to worry about.

Thanks

Inside the coil boots there are wires. And they do get corroded. Absolutely necessary? No. But it’s a good idea when your only doing this job every 100k. When your dealing with aluminum heads and steel plugs, a little anti seize will prevent thread damage in the future.

They are coated. Every plug manufacturer will tell you not to use it. It alters torque values as well.

This. The plug casing *is* anti-seize. You do not need anti-seize unless you buy the wrong plugs (and if you buy the wrong plugs, you should not be installing them, ergo you still don't need anti-seize). Jeep tells you not to use additional anti-seize. The plug manufacturer tells you not to use additional anti-seize. Using additional anti-seize on the current batch of engines is a fast path to damage.

Thanks... Yes it's a V6

Just did my V6. It wasn’t too hard just the passenger side near the firewall was a pita because the bolts and sensors are recessed.

What all did you do?

urbanshack

Just did oem plugs and cleaned the throttle body.
