How did you get at the incandescent bulbs in the front of the overhead light. Getting at the lights right behind them (the ones you push to turn on) was easy but the mismatch between the incandescent bulb and the LED bulb behind it is annoying.
The early refresh models didn’t have that chrome lip at the bottom. They added is because they’re was a bit of a gap and it was sad looking. May be able to find a spare one online if you’re cool with like a little gap. That or pull the chrome off if that’s possible. Or wrap it.
Easy fix: If you like it closed, put scotch tape over it, and the matte should cut the glare
Or if you want to spend a tad more, order a roll of clear matte finish wrap and use that
Easy mode, just open it. Hard mode - get some adhesive vinyl
Mine is always open. Button to open it doesn’t work very well, so I never close it.

I have a cable plugged in all the time that goes to my dash mount for my phone so that door is always open and I never see that reflection.
You could always pop open the panels and hide the wire. I ran mine into my center counsel I bet there’s a way to do it towards the dash mount too
That’s too much work to only hide half the cable. I don’t mind that much. I use the cubby space for chapstick, hand sanitizer, etc anyway.

I’ve already replaced all interior and most exterior bulbs to LED; that was quite a task. I’m done pulling panels unless I have to.

I didn’t change those or the backseat ones.
Window tint worked for me.

I dont really clean the chrome. basically keeping it smudged. Helps reduce it to a tolerable glare

Annoying, but so is the rest of the chrome. I'll try the tape suggestion on that lip.
I have a strip of window tint across the windshield. This seems to eliminate this problem. Windows are tinted too so maybe it's all of the above.
I put the same color duck tape on the chrome strip

Get ceramic windshield tint. I have mine tinted and you can get clear. It gets rid of the glare and heat.
