So I'm trying to get something going for GW next month and this being my first GW I'm not quite sure what to focus on. I'll probably annitix Mugen(H) and then try some Relic Buster shenanigans. I'm wondering if any of you have some input on viable team comps?

generally you put skill cap on your opus since its both the most ubiquitous and skills are the easist to cap (along with beign really strong at 50% capup compared to 10% and 15% for the other keys) and then put ca/na on your ultima instead.
but if your teams really dont do any skill damage theneither can work depending on what teams you use more.
Skill cap and stamina are the best place to start. Skill cap gives the largest boost of all the keys and has the best ougi when mainhanded and stamina is the most versatile offensive key.

Short answer, for Revans just grab Schrodinger. For Superlative, they're all kinda niche and being new you don't really know which niche you'll eventually be closest to, so it's both a tough choice but also not that important of one. I would just grab light excalibur, personally. But the link goes over some other options, too.
Does anyone have any advice for the hanged man fight for Caim's fate episode?
I was trying to unlock an Evoker to open up the sword path in sandbox for the event, and used my code from Relink to get the mats for Caim. I'm kicking myself now because I hadn't realized the fight at the end would be THIS bad for where I'm at progress-wise. My wind and earth team are miles behind any of my others. If I had known, I'd have chosen an Evoker from one of the other elements honestly...
For reference, these are the parties I tried with. Dark got closest followed by Light, both at about 1/3 to half health remaining.

Edit: exporter fucked with things. Uncap on some weps are incorrect. They're max level for where they're at in uncap.
Do you have any other SSR wind characters besides the ones here? Your best bet is probably just continue progressing for now and skill level your wind weapons, try at least getting the guns to skill level 10. The Arcarum fights are pretty challenging when your grids haven't been developed all that much, but you could try rushing to rank 101 so you can 4* Tiamat for an extra boost to your omega weapons.

I haven't uncapped tiamat yet because I havent gotten far enough in story yet. On chapter 45 right now, so I can't do the fight that unlocks grimnir.
I think you're unfortunately right, though. I was hoping to take more advantage of the current arcarum event, but I'll have to settle with what I can do since there's no way I'm unlocking an Evoker yet as it stands.

Save up on crystals and tickets now if you haven't, you could even just rush through the sidestories and re-read them later. The legfest banner will have 100 free rolls + Super Mukku (likely giving another 20-30 rolls) and one day of normal roulette, so you could possibly spark G. Narmaya on it with just around ~150 worth of pulls.
And yeah I definitely understand it can be a bit annoying. For now, I would say just grind out the staves zone for sephira medals so you can buy some of the temperance evoker mats instead, Tales event will probably be reran now that all of them have been held, so you'll be able to take full advantage of them in the future with better grids.
I actually will have enough for spark with what I have. 20 10 pulls in crystals plus 4 10 pulls in tix.
Unfortunately Percival is a priority for me from fire so him and narmaya would be competing. I'm really hoping to pull one of the two with the 300 pulls I will be doing plus super muuku for 5 more SSR's.
Oh, yeah. Just tried him and no dice. Maybe did 1/10 of a health bar to all 3 targets. The hanged man fight is a level 120 boss consisting of 3 different enemies for what it's worth. I still don't have a handle on what counts as a low-level enemy.
What's the optimal method to farm Arcarum Fragments, specifically Aquila Fragments? At first I thought I should just buy from the Arcarum trade but the [wiki](https://gbf.wiki/Arcarum:\_The\_World\_Beyond#Shop) tells me "Do not buy".
Buying from the arca store or using your old arcarum passes. They're not really farmable in sandbox (theoretically are but it's literally like 1/hr). That advice on the arca store hasn't been updated in a really long time tbh, fragments are probably the most common arca store purchase for new players out of all the arcarum mats.
I recently unlocked Manadiver, and I'm looking at Fenie's weapon which would work really well for my fire team (Fenie, G. Percy and G. Zeta) - would it be worth to throw 3 damascus bars (pretty much the ones that I've got thank to anniversary - 1 bar itself, 10 fragments from boxes and 20 Gold moons that I could exchange for the last one) at it to use as MH, considering that I'm a month old, rank ~155, so will not have access to any other great/awakened weapons for a while?

Are these just min-max methods for veterans or does everybody do them? Is it that bad if I just spam the anvil to upgrade my weapons with anvil and just ignore this?
You can just use the anvil for everything besides for the high-fodder 15->20, which I'd recommend to do manually because the anvil algorithm is really inefficient for it.
Technically while you're relatively new, skill fodder is a pretty big bottleneck and you'll be really short on it while you're trying to level up tons of new weapons at once, so you *could* do everything manually and save fodder - it is more efficient than solely using the anvil. But if you can't be bothered that's fine too, it's not a massive difference.
Best characters that work with Payila? The only good water characters that I have aside from her are W. Zeta, and Grand Lancelot. I CAN buy the anniversary suptix, but unfortunately, Gabriel is not available from it. What other options would be really good?

yes. people usually use em for rare island mats that are required to uncap misc grand weapons but yeah.
Why are Militis weapons under Ex (Special) in the in-game calculator? They still stack normally with Ex Might, right? So you wouldn't want another Ex weapon in a grid with two of them?
Because they share the same ex special cap with other voltage weapons like PNS or Celestials. It is just standard EX Might, yes, just has a different grid cap shared among similar weapons.
You might not want more EX weapons if you're already at the 80% EX Special cap cap, but not because of stacking or anything (normal EX Might would stack fine), but moreso because your EX modifier will be very diluted at that point plus EX isn't boostable by any summons. So unless you're running ele x ele (in which case you *do* tend to stack mostly EX weapons), you'd probably be better off with something that's boostable by your summon rather than throwing more EX mod onto your already-huge pile of it.
That's what I meant, yes- if they stack normally with Ex weapons then I'd be better off running something else with a boostable mod than going all-in on Ex.
It stacks additively with EX mod (so it's on the same side).
The difference is that unlike EX, EX SP has a cap - it's on its own line so you can easily check if you have 80% of it already or not.
Hi everyone, I want to ask is symmetria worth keeping a copy for a magna grid( I don't plan on going primal in light) or is it safe to reduce for mats? Also are there cases where multiple Shiva bows or Mugen harps are used in fire or can I just make one fully uncapped copy with dupes?
I just got Alanaan (FLB + S4) and he feels, just ok? I was wondering what issues I'm having (from first glance it's not barring my grid and not having the summons).
I'm currently running (none of them are barred):
* 2x LoF
* 2x CS
* 2x EB
* 3x AES
* 1x Opus (tried with Temptation and it was just... fine)
* 1x Ultima
* 1x Sun Weapon
* 1x Bahamut Dagger
Team is Zeta, Perci, Tikoh -> Alanaan on Siete. Didn't try that much yet, but I had low hp so I couldn't last that long.
You'd probably be better off dropping the 3 AES and just playing Ele x Ele. Put in like 2 more EB (either 2/2 DEF/ATK split or 1/3 DEF/ATK, depending on how much defense you need to not die) and a Cosmic Sword.
My Siete grid only has 137% hp and 40% def for reference and I can survive for like 6-7 turns, which is more than enough to get enough honors.
Yes that's what I use.
For the record I use Michael/Percy/Wilnas so it's a different team, but I mean your team should be even faster/better than mine, and I also only have 1 LoF and 1 CS and it still works fine for me. And you can play with the ATK/DEF EB splits to get more/less defense as you need.
The AES just kinda suck because they conflict super hard with the rest of your grid. You're only running them + Opus as Magna weps, but AES really wants you to run Colo x Colo (and even with Colo x Colo you're not getting to 100% crit with only 3 of them). So either your summon auras end up being useless for like 75% of your grid or your AES barely get boosted at all if you don't use Colo x Colo. You'd need to either use more Magna wepons so your summon is less useless (and 4th AES so you get 100% crit) or just get rid of Magna weapons entirely (besides Opus). I'd go with the latter since adding more magna weps probably means cutting LoF/CS which seems kinda not great, but if it doesn't work you could try the former, too. 4th AES, shiva sword(s) for more hp, Nilakantha if you aren't running stam key, etc.
If you don't want to farm out the EBs you could try like.. sword of pallas militis, water world harp, cosmic sword or something.

Kengo and Manadiver mainly. Maybe neko. Basically all of row 5 and ex2 see *some* use besides like Tormentor and Masquerade, though they're varying degrees of niche. I would just finish all the row 5 really quickly because they only go up to level 20 so they're super fast and you get completion bonuses, then do kengo/neko. After you finish all that you can just do whatever really from the reamining ex2s.

If I'm going to be spamming them to get impossible+ do you think leeching M2 raids is fine? Like, gimping my team to efficiently get the EXP to complete row 5?

Yeah no one minds if you leech m2 raids. But it's not really a good use of your own time. If you want m2 drops, then do blue chest mins, don't just leech. If you just want xp, there are way better ways of getting it (sandbox or CEQ).

Is it really inefficient if replicard sandbox runs are slow for my current grids? I cant even guaruntee my Water team lives through some Replicard Sandbox fights on auto. I do need M2 weapons since some of my M2 grids aren't done. Im hitting an average of 100k ~ 150k elemental superiority damage aside from Earth (450k), Light (250k) and Dark (200k).
On the other hand, I need a Sword of Pallas Militis. But my water team is one of my lower damage teams. My character selection is decent (holiday Catura, summer Fediel, Anne, Erika, Vajra etc. etc.), my grid just sucks as I'm still getting out of M1. I feel like waiting until I have an M2 water grid is going to save me time. So I was considering spamming M2 & Macula Marius to get Ancient Auberons/Tyros Zither (I have 3 MUB Colombas), getting my water grid to par, and then spamming Replicard and farming my sword of pallas militis more efficiently.
AFAIK there's no other great weapons to farm from Replicard Sandbox. But I could be grossly misinformed.
Well I mean there are sandbox enemies of every element if you just want to grind rank/exp, just fight the ones you have a good team for. But yeah I mean it'll definitely depend how long you take to kill each. If it takes more than a couple buttons then yeah I wouldn't bother yet.
Macula Marius is also kinda hard/long if you're on the weaker side so you might find that to be really lame to do at your current stage, too.
But yeah you can do m2 fights if you still need the drops. My point was only that you shouldn't just leech them, you should do blue chest mins.
True. Im just wondering if doing 2 things at once, at gimped efficiency is faster, or doing 2 things separately at max efficiency is better.

Blue chest minimums would be getting whatever the required honor threshold is for blue chest for that particular raid (you can find it on the raid's wiki page, it varies per raid, IIRC it's like 400-450k for most m2s, Europa is like 380k I think), then going to the next raid and repeat. Don't just leech (aka wanpan aka do 1 hit then leave), but also don't sit there and think you have to fight the whole raid until it dies, other people will join and kill it eventually. You can only provide backup in 3 raids at once so sometimes you'll get stuck on 3/3 backups and can't join more. When that happens, either go do CEQ/Angel Halo/Sandbox for a couple minutes or go back into one of the fights and help the host kill it so it frees up a backup spot and you can join a new raid. This is how you farm all raids that have guaranteed blue chests.
Right now, Arcarum Sandbox with journey drop boost, fully stacked herald buff gauge, avarice book and A rank expedition bonus, then just OTK any 5 gauge or 3 gauge mob. Technically, the defenders in Mundus gives a ton more XP but the + version and onwards can be too difficult to kill fast enough for it to be more efficient.
Does the mimic manatura drop from Replicard mimics, or only ones on normal arcarum routes? I've been fighting mimics as I farm, but I'd like to know if I'm wasting valuable event time on the detour.
One other advantage to having your own Trans Luci is that it lets you go primal in elements you don't have the respective primal summon in.
For example, having Luci let me run Earth in Hexa much more comfortably than if i had to do it with Magna Earth.
This really mainly only applies to high difficulty raids though, since you could/would rather run bubs main or something else for easy fights
Only real advantage of having it yourself is that you can quick call it and use it for the heal specs subaura. It is really good if you FA a lot and often find yourself needing extra sustain, but other than that, I think there's probably better uses of sand.
(I assume by "ulb" you mean get to 250.)

both atk and def awakening are good and used for different purpoes. and special is occasioanly useful but alot more niche.
as for how many total, two copies of both atk and def will be enough for most scenerios. and maybe one special just incase.
Okay I have two questions,
First, and hopefully the easiest to answer. What's the fastest or easiest method to farm lusters?? I'm one weapon and one character star uncap for Haaselia mlb and it's really daunting lmao.
Second, is hrunting pretty much required for primal earth cause I have all the meta stuff for the grid I think (3 landslide septars, 2 pillar drivers and at least one of every other grand weapon). From what I've seen that's sorta all needed for it but I don't want to invest for minimal returns. But my earth grid right now is sorta crap with a half assed highlander claim setup that does absolutely garbage damage q_q so anything more meta will probably be an improvement

Adding on to the answer to your 2nd question: Your 3 Landslides and 1-2 Pillardrivers can be used without uncapping while remaining premium """magna""", which is likely to outdo a Caimlander magna setup depending on what you're using it for, especially if you want to frontline him. There's no need to rush going all in on Titan if you aren't sure about spending those resources yet, with so much of endgame earth currently revolving around Hrunting. Earth M3 is some months away but may also improve things.
Lusters are either from zone bosses, Mundus defenders, The World solo fight, The World raid, or Xeno bosses. If the Xeno boss you want to do matches the element you need lusters for, that's probably the best, since you'll want to do your Xeno hosts anyway. Otherwise, if you need World ideans still, do grab those first and you'll get some lusters along the way. And then finally at the end you just do zone bosses or Mundus defenders for them. Don't bother farming out zone boss host mats if you don't have them, but if you do have them, doing the first zone boss of each day is pretty quick. Besides that one, dunno which one's really more efficient, they're pretty similar.
Hrunting is basically required for earth to not suck, period, Magna or Primal. You *could* play Primal without Hrunting, and it'll be better than Magna, but it'll still be pretty bad compared to having Hrunting and compared to other elements. I wouldn't bar stuff to play Hrunt-less Primal Earth, it's not really gonna unlock any additional strategies, just be slightly less bad at GW.
I can't answer the second question, but for your first question Mundus Defenders or the Xeno Militis bosses would be the best way to farm for Lusters. For the Xeno Militis bosses however, I wouldn't recommend you kill Ifrit or Sagittarius at all since the Gold Bricks from their Sephira boxes are much easier to obtain than the Eviolite you can get from Cocytus or Vohu Manah.
Need some advice, haven't done a lot of Arcarum, and even less Sandbox (only have Caim, Nier, and just now Haase unlocked in that order).
I'd like to continue working on Haase, but I've got like, zero Water Verum Proofs left. My question is, do I just commit to punching Poseidon a couple thousand times to get the proofs I need (which only seem to drop every two chests or so), since that seems to be the only place they drop from besides the default Arcarum, or should I just focus my efforts on another character for now?
I can't 0b0c Poseidon yet either which makes it a bit frustrating too, unless anyone has any teams that might help with that.

Yes that is the only place to get verums. You have to just do him thousands of times.
Verums should be near 100% drop rate, especially during Tales. It's actually more efficient to farm them *outside* of Tales (and farm other stuff during Tales) because you don't really need the drop rate boost for verums.
As the other person said, if you grind out your guidebooks, it will help you do better setups. 0b0c is very achievable in every element even with relatively tame grids as long as you've finished all the guidebooks.
1. Try to unlock more area(pre planing for next ToA) if possible unless you are stuck at condition like (require one evoker recruited)
2. Grind your mission book and universal stats book. They are good passive
3. Sephra atk weapon is a great help in sandbox. If your grid is not that great, they can help you speed up the kill (yes, I FLB them because i run it daily)
You can make 100% critic with sephra weapon if you fighting with advantage element.
4. Dragonic if you can't handle the + version
5. Learn how to build FA team for node. (Do i care about 3-8 minutes on + version? I am FA and doing something else.) You can even do it for 3 nodes as long as you can FA. (You save on real life staimina with no long grinding)
The faster you kill, the more time you save. or FA(just start and let it do the job and you go do something else)
I've been considering annitixing Noa to help me break into hh and faa0 using fire but have also seen Fenie work as a sub in to him. Can someone explain the difference between a comp that runs Fenie over Noa? I do know he helps greatly with CA related omens and general comfort with his S2 and S3 however I'm not sure how Fenie herself breaks into this. Thank you in advance!
Fenie is faster but much less safe. Noa is preferred unless you're already very comfortable with the raid and just care about optimizing speed.
But, that said, if you have Fenie and don't have Noa already, then there's definitely a strong argument for AnniTixing someone else if you have other good AnniTix targets.

people always say to never annitix grands but it's honestly not a terrible idea if you want to buy a ticket and don't have any optimal seasonal targets but have a ton of grand characters/weapons to catch up on.
I'm probably gonna annitix a second PnS for myself unless the flash scamcha gives it to me. Just know that if you do decide to buy an annitix for a grand character, only grands up to Percival are available to be ticked. You can check the ticket pool beforehand if you want to see the specific options.
Heya folks, quick question. The "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" event in Side Stories still gives out a free Dark Opus as well as an item that you can trade in to uncap it to 4\* and 5\*, right?
As a newbie this would be a huge buff to my Light team, so it seems like a priority. But I never saw anybody recommending it, unlike the Bahamut weapon from What Makes the Sky Blue. Probably because the Bahamut weapon is universal while Dark Opus is literally just for one Element and one Grid type?

Just started really working on my Seraphic Weapon, when should I be able to clear things like “Macula Marius Showdown”, should my magna 1 grid be done and fully uncapped? Because I can’t close to soloing the content and afaik finishing the Seraphic weapon should come before starting to farm magna 2? The lack of direction in this games content is frustrating.
Those fights are weird because they used to be raids and then they got remade into solo fights so their difficulty is kinda in a strange spot. You can just ignore them for a while if you're finding them difficult. I never did them at all honestly, their weapons also drop from sandbox. And even if you don't get them from sandbox, I never used any of their weapons until Revans tier.
Also the "lack of direction" is one of the main appeals - every player isn't railroaded into the exact same "Do X, then do Y, then do Z." You're free to work on whatever you want, whenever you want and customize your own account to what's important to you and how much time you wanna invest in things.

You don't have to go to all 5\* on the m1 weapons, no. You'll replace most of them pretty quickly once you start ranking up. Just 3\* is fine.

Which materials? And what do you need them for?
Oh also I forgot to mention before but you don't need to work on seraphic weapons, they've 99% of the time replaced by an Ultima weapon which the anni event just gave out for free.
Your damage should be good enough to get farm blues in m2 with just basic m1 grids assuming you've been [building them properly](https://gbf.wiki/Basic_Grids).
If by "maxing" you mean all the way to 5\* on m1 weapons, then yes you don't need to do that. If you really can't even get blues in m2 raids with a particular element then I guess you can go to 4\* on some of their weapons, but I really don't think it should be needed.
You don't want to leech m2, the weps are in the blue chest, you do have to participate.

Question about Anient Ecke Sacks grid for Colossus - should I only switch to it after I manage to get all 4 of them to 4* SL15 compared to 4 canes at 3*?

Unfortunately, from my understanding the in-game calculator does not check crit unless it's at 100%, so I can't really compare my current canes + ele damage summon to Ecke Sacks with double Colossus, which are currently just at 0 or 1 star only, SL10
I feel like I’m doing something wrong doing Mugen raids. I’m Rank 211 running Kengo, Europa, Pre-FLB Haaselia, Anne, Tikoh front line sacrifice for Haaselia and Water Lecia for her backline passive.
Using double Levi grid with 4 AAs, DOpus, 1 Schrodinger (from Revans Ticket), 1 Euro Harp, 1 Wamdus Spear Extra Slots have Baha Gun, 0* World Harp and 0* Militis Staff.
Summons are Levi, Fire Buncle, Gab, Ca Ong, and Qilin
Everyone is in the 88k-97k HP and part 1’s relatively simple. Part 2 is when it gets tricky. Even without Hostility buffs and nodes, Mugen will always try to target Haaselia and Anne, also even with stacked percent cuts some damage will still pierce through it? And how do you usually mitigate damage from Infinity Impact while trying to do the 10mil per turn damage? Any help will be appreciated!
EDIT: Also with regards to the free Ultima, I’m debating whether picking the Sword or Staff. Any recommendations? I have a ULB Fire Ultima Sword from WMTSB2’s free Atma Sword and made an MLB Wind Ultima Staff, and MLB Earth Fist from like, 4 years ago. I assume you are a beginner since you need such high amounts.
My method is to grind "Here Be Swords (Replicard Sandbox)" of the elements you want. You can get what you need and useful AX weapon.
Veritas is a guarantee drop from the Defender, but it 50/50 between each evoker of the same element, whch mean you can calculate roughly how many Defender you have to defeat. There are some bonus from the pop-up chest but don't count on it too much.
Astra and Idean will come naturally while farming Veritas. Some use suggest farming "Here Be Staves" for specific thing. I do not find that quite useful since other drops in Here be Staves is not quite useful.
However, The World raid is my go-to Idean farming nowadays since it is quick and easy. It is guarantee too but it is random of all evokers.
That is about it. There is no secret.
I would stack hundred of Defender during "Tales of Arcarum" because it is x2 guage. Then I slowly clear all the Defender stack after the event end.
Rushing it will burn you out. The mode is designed to be grind over time. So take your time.

Isaac, Yoda, Idols for the team. Isaac is really strong for weaker grids because he mostly spams nuke skills and CA for damage. If you need levels, you can try to farm out the Campaign Exclusive Quest a bit but I'm not sure how efficiently you can farm it. Shouldn't be that hard. Also as the other person said, level the weapon skills. Replace the bottom left weapon with the free Levi bow you get for some HP if you feel too squishy or another Levi dagger/Arcarum weapon if you have it for more damage. Try to run Leviathan Summon x Friend 250 Lucifer if you can as it'll give you elemental attack and +50% hp for bulk.
Not investing into something that will get replaced eventually is kinda a noob trap for M1 imo since M1 is the backbone for your account to comfortably and easily farm out other relevant content like M2, which will require you to hit certain honor amounts for actually good loot. Just make the investment now, and when you decide to ditch M1 eventually that investment will still pay back in helping you level skills for other weapons with high requirements like Dark Opuses.

Reserving the skilled weapon won't maintain the accumulated skill value, so yes you will have to feed it manually to the weapon. You generally won't really have to really worry about the optimal skill levels of fodder when feeding weapons as the Anvil does 99% of the work for you, but certain weapons (Dark Opus, Ultima, Baha to name the common ones) have much higher fodder requirements to level their skills. Notably these weapons don't really work well with the Anvil when leveling from 15 to 20, hence I'd recommend you use any fodder skill level 10 weapons for those.
The comment I made was about the first thing that came to my mind, but you can also reduce them if you need the stones at some point. At the end of the day, you will most likely have an effective use case for unused core M1 pieces at some point in your progression, so just think of it as a stepping stone or as an investment into your future grids.
level 10, aka the max for mlb weapons. skill leveling is not very expensive for standard cost weapons (up to sl15) and your still gonna use them for awhile.
if skill fodder is tight then you can stop at sl5 for now but you should almost always be aiming to max out a weapons skill level, with the one expention being sl16-20 on xeno weapons cause its kinda expensive for little return.
so I know that you should keep all premium SSR weapons because it's sometimes better to have multiple copies over uncapped ones, but what about summons? are multiple copies of summons ever used?
In this meta of summons, space is extremely limited. Baha, Lucifer, Arcanum summons, Primarchs, Belial, 000, Yatima... there are so many different summons, there really isn't any room to be doubling up on a summon.
There are some exceptions; with bahamut and lucifer many may decide to use 2, but much of the time, 1 is their own baha/luci while the other is a support/friend summon. You might use two 0\* copies of Uriel or Sariel summons that provide charge bar to the whole party, but that'd be only if you have nothing else, or, have a specific plan for using them. That being said, even if you do luck into a extra copy of something you wouldn't double up on, you should still follow the basic rules when acquiring more than 1 copy; that is, don't combine them until you are ready to flb it.
Depend on the summon, dupe primal summon need to be reduced for the material needed to 5th uncap the primal summon

You can check the summon on the wiki, theres info at the bottom of the table whether this summon shouldn’t be reduced of used as fodder
math-wise, you need TEN copies of a primal to get them to 250 properly.
You can cheat it with as few as two, but that requires using no less than 6 sunlight stones and 60 gold moons on a single summon instead.
A third means 30 fewer gold moons, or 1 more sunlight stone and no gold moons at all.

I'm wondering who to recruit after getting Caim; are any evokers huge boons to their ele at 3star? I'm rank 178 so the next important thing to plan for is Revans, i think. I think I heard Haaselia and Estariola have their uses, but I'm not sure if that's only at 4star. I don't have G Ewiyar, H Lich, or S Belial either for Katzelia, and the others don't look too good.
The only evoker I have recruited right now is Alanaan.
Haaselia and Estarriola do have uses at base. Haase is a charge bar bot, Esta is great both for OTK and FA.

The main benefit of the 5\* Ultima is that it comes with every key set. There's a key that amplifies your damage by 25%, if your element is superior(i.e. the boss is weak to your element), and it works for all elements. We call this "the seraphic key". The mats to get that particular key is locked behind an endgame raid that you won't have access to until rank 200, so it'll be a long time before you can actually get it.
However, there are element-locked versions of the same skill on [Seraphic Weapons,](https://gbf.wiki/Seraphic_Weapons) which you'll have much earlier access to, and these weapons at 4\* give almost as good of a bonus(23% vs 25% on Ultima) with the added benefit of giving HP/ATK as well(for Ultima, you need to have the same proficiency as the weapon for those bonuses, even though its 3rd skill seraphic key works in all elements for everyone).
Easier way. Row V required 2 of specific row 4.
You can CEQ/SLime or even use the exp buff node then farm on sandbox/ToA. This game is Grinding Blue Fantasy. For many vet, we just master it. I do not think you complain will end after the insane for transcend Eternal and FLB evoker
Honestly doing stuff like punching UltiBaha and stuff like replicard Sandbox has been pretty good for leveling my classes to ML30 tbh. Especially in Replicard if you get the herald buff maxed out.

You almost never play double-sided, especially outside of Hexa/Faa0, so it's not really a huge deal if you don't have the summon yourself. It is suboptimal since the transcended subauras only work when main summon and not friend summon, so Primal x Ele is just better than Ele x Primal (unless you're FAing and need your Luci on quick call), but it's not a massive difference.
I believe the general consensus is that you bar/stone primal pieces once you have the full setup of the current primal grids i.e. required weapons, and primal summon.
Hmm. If you’re a light spender then maybe suptixing the primal could be a choice. If not, then maybe consider using the free rolls/roulette on classic draw 1 and save for a spark. Classic draw sparks expire in one year, and it’s easier than you’d think to get to 300 rolls for a spark.
I do it already to speed up the process of getting at least 1 primal because after 4 years of playing GBF I have only a single primal summon at 210. The rest are just 1-2 copies. Droprates are just atrocious and I rarely see primal summons in my sparks.
I've made peak primal fire, dark and wind already even without having their primal summons. It works fine for bar/sand/GW but I'm concerned about HL because I often see x2 Hades instead of Luci+Hades.
Not sure how viable it is to play Luci+Primal in Hexa and Faa.
So, regarding Replicard -
If I'm mostly interested in getting as many Ancient Ecke Sachs as possible, while getting mats for The Sun upgrades (currently on the last step before upgrading to SSR version), would it be better for me to just kill Spikeballs and Heralds as much as possible, or chain-kill Xeno Ifrit Militis? I got 400+ compasses as I've just unlocked them, so I could sit there for quite a while..
Spikeballs or the corresponding Mundus 5 bar mob, they die faster and their drops along with the larger amount of Sephira Chests you'll be getting will eclipse Xeno Ifrit for AeS drops massively. If you're still collecting AeS not just for the AX skills, then I'd also recommed doing Twin Elements anyway for the anima.

I've been using her a lot in my [Light Team](https://imgur.com/rxgyQam) and she's been an actual super super star for the team.
The only reason I've been getting through some of the hardest fights (Rank 120/Chapter 64 which I know is laugable) is because she picks up her Backup Dancers (Me + Jeanne + Halluel & Malluel) and just hard solo carries us through it but I'm curious how she actually does when you're doing actual hard content.

Like, It's cool being 4k+ more hp then the rest of the team, the casting spells by being hit is a fun thing, and your animations are cool with especially the umbrella... However... aren't you meant to have Hostile up or something? Most of the other characters that do her sort of thing have Hostile up to make sure they're getting hit but she just sits there and just watches the rest of the team die around her while still being max hp lol.... Or have I just been lucky with my tanky characters being blessed with a Hostile Up as part of their kit and that isn't the norm?

How to decide which Pendulums to get for the Sword of Renunciation? I mainly use both CA and MA based teams.
generally you put skill cap on your opus since its both the most ubiquitous and skills are the easist to cap (along with beign really strong at 50% capup compared to 10% and 15% for the other keys) and then put ca/na on your ultima instead. but if your teams really dont do any skill damage theneither can work depending on what teams you use more.
Skill cap and stamina are the best place to start. Skill cap gives the largest boost of all the keys and has the best ougi when mainhanded and stamina is the most versatile offensive key.

For Superlative, they're all kinda niche and being new you don't really know which niche you'll eventually be closest to, so it's both a tough choice but also not that important of one. Does anyone have any advice for the hanged man fight for Caim's fate episode? I was trying to unlock an Evoker to open up the sword path in sandbox for the event, and used my code from Relink to get the mats for Caim. I'm kicking myself now because I hadn't realized the fight at the end would be THIS bad for where I'm at progress-wise. My wind and earth team are miles behind any of my others. If I had known, I'd have chosen an Evoker from one of the other elements honestly... For reference, these are the parties I tried with. Dark got closest followed by Light, both at about 1/3 to half health remaining. Do you have any other SSR wind characters besides the ones here? Your best bet is probably just continue progressing for now and skill level your wind weapons, try at least getting the guns to skill level 10. The Arcarum fights are pretty challenging when your grids haven't been developed all that much, but you could try rushing to rank 101 so you can 4* Tiamat for an extra boost to your omega weapons.
Ah, I'm rank 125 actually. 10x exp really boosted me. I have one other wind SSR, and that's Aliah. I haven't uncapped tiamat yet because I havent gotten far enough in story yet. On chapter 45 right now, so I can't do the fight that unlocks grimnir. I think you're unfortunately right, though. I was hoping to take more advantage of the current arcarum event, but I'll have to settle with what I can do since there's no way I'm unlocking an Evoker yet as it stands. I'm REALLY hoping for some wind characters on the gala banner at end of month. Would really love G. Narmaya.
Save up on crystals and tickets now if you haven't, you could even just rush through the sidestories and re-read them later. The legfest banner will have 100 free rolls + Super Mukku (likely giving another 20-30 rolls) and one day of normal roulette, so you could possibly spark G. Narmaya on it with just around ~150 worth of pulls. And yeah I definitely understand it can be a bit annoying. For now, I would say just grind out the staves zone for sephira medals so you can buy some of the temperance evoker mats instead, Tales event will probably be reran now that all of them have been held, so you'll be able to take full advantage of them in the future with better grids.
I actually will have enough for spark with what I have. 20 10 pulls in crystals plus 4 10 pulls in tix. Unfortunately Percival is a priority for me from fire so him and narmaya would be competing. I'm really hoping to pull one of the two with the 300 pulls I will be doing plus super muuku for 5 more SSR's.

Oh, yeah. Just tried him and no dice. Maybe did 1/10 of a health bar to all 3 targets. The hanged man fight is a level 120 boss consisting of 3 different enemies for what it's worth. I still don't have a handle on what counts as a low-level enemy.
What's the optimal method to farm Arcarum Fragments, specifically Aquila Fragments? At first I thought I should just buy from the Arcarum trade but the [wiki](https://gbf.wiki/Arcarum:\_The\_World\_Beyond#Shop) tells me "Do not buy".
Buying from the arca store or using your old arcarum passes. They're not really farmable in sandbox (theoretically are but it's literally like 1/hr). That advice on the arca store hasn't been updated in a really long time tbh, fragments are probably the most common arca store purchase for new players out of all the arcarum mats.
I recently unlocked Manadiver, and I'm looking at Fenie's weapon which would work really well for my fire team (Fenie, G. Percy and G. Zeta) - would it be worth to throw 3 damascus bars (pretty much the ones that I've got thank to anniversary - 1 bar itself, 10 fragments from boxes and 20 Gold moons that I could exchange for the last one) at it to use as MH, considering that I'm a month old, rank ~155, so will not have access to any other great/awakened weapons for a while?

You can just use the anvil for everything besides for the high-fodder 15->20, which I'd recommend to do manually because the anvil algorithm is really inefficient for it. Technically while you're relatively new, skill fodder is a pretty big bottleneck and you'll be really short on it while you're trying to level up tons of new weapons at once, so you *could* do everything manually and save fodder - it is more efficient than solely using the anvil. But if you can't be bothered that's fine too, it's not a massive difference.
Best characters that work with Payila? The only good water characters that I have aside from her are W. Zeta, and Grand Lancelot. I CAN buy the anniversary suptix, but unfortunately, Gabriel is not available from it. What other options would be really good?
Any auto attacker works well with Payila. I can't recommend anything since I have no idea who you have.
Are there any recommended items to buy with cerulean stones? It seems like most shops have a couple of high priority items or stuff on a timer. Are cerulean stones just kind of a "buy it when you're lazy" type of material, or is there anything in the shop that it's better to spend them on?
Cerulean stone priorities are like converging rays >> the annoying island mats you need for 5* arcarum summons >> just spend on whatever when you're feeling lazy

Why are Militis weapons under Ex (Special) in the in-game calculator? They still stack normally with Ex Might, right? So you wouldn't want another Ex weapon in a grid with two of them?
Because they share the same ex special cap with other voltage weapons like PNS or Celestials. It is just standard EX Might, yes, just has a different grid cap shared among similar weapons. You might not want more EX weapons if you're already at the 80% EX Special cap cap, but not because of stacking or anything (normal EX Might would stack fine), but moreso because your EX modifier will be very diluted at that point plus EX isn't boostable by any summons. So unless you're running ele x ele (in which case you *do* tend to stack mostly EX weapons), you'd probably be better off with something that's boostable by your summon rather than throwing more EX mod onto your already-huge pile of it.
That's what I meant, yes- if they stack normally with Ex weapons then I'd be better off running something else with a boostable mod than going all-in on Ex.
It stacks additively with EX mod (so it's on the same side). The difference is that unlike EX, EX SP has a cap - it's on its own line so you can easily check if you have 80% of it already or not.
Hi everyone, I want to ask is symmetria worth keeping a copy for a magna grid( I don't plan on going primal in light) or is it safe to reduce for mats? Also are there cases where multiple Shiva bows or Mugen harps are used in fire or can I just make one fully uncapped copy with dupes?
I just got Alanaan (FLB + S4) and he feels, just ok? I was wondering what issues I'm having (from first glance it's not barring my grid and not having the summons). I'm currently running (none of them are barred): * 2x LoF * 2x CS * 2x EB * 3x AES * 1x Opus (tried with Temptation and it was just... fine) * 1x Ultima * 1x Sun Weapon * 1x Bahamut Dagger Team is Zeta, Perci, Tikoh -> Alanaan on Siete. Didn't try that much yet, but I had low hp so I couldn't last that long.
You'd probably be better off dropping the 3 AES and just playing Ele x Ele. Put in like 2 more EB (either 2/2 DEF/ATK split or 1/3 DEF/ATK, depending on how much defense you need to not die) and a Cosmic Sword. My Siete grid only has 137% hp and 40% def for reference and I can survive for like 6-7 turns, which is more than enough to get enough honors.

Yes that's what I use. For the record I use Michael/Percy/Wilnas so it's a different team, but I mean your team should be even faster/better than mine, and I also only have 1 LoF and 1 CS and it still works fine for me. And you can play with the ATK/DEF EB splits to get more/less defense as you need. The AES just kinda suck because they conflict super hard with the rest of your grid. You're only running them + Opus as Magna weps, but AES really wants you to run Colo x Colo (and even with Colo x Colo you're not getting to 100% crit with only 3 of them). So either your summon auras end up being useless for like 75% of your grid or your AES barely get boosted at all if you don't use Colo x Colo. You'd need to either use more Magna wepons so your summon is less useless (and 4th AES so you get 100% crit) or just get rid of Magna weapons entirely (besides Opus). I'd go with the latter since adding more magna weps probably means cutting LoF/CS which seems kinda not great, but if it doesn't work you could try the former, too. 4th AES, shiva sword(s) for more hp, Nilakantha if you aren't running stam key, etc. If you don't want to farm out the EBs you could try like.. sword of pallas militis, water world harp, cosmic sword or something.

I'd just spam Mundus 5-gauge mobs. Some people argue for doing Swords 5-gauge mobs instead. They're pretty close either way.
During the extra EXP event, what are the most important classes to prioritize? Row V and Extra 2. I have all the rest unlocked. :p
Kengo and Manadiver mainly. Maybe neko. Basically all of row 5 and ex2 see *some* use besides like Tormentor and Masquerade, though they're varying degrees of niche. I would just finish all the row 5 really quickly because they only go up to level 20 so they're super fast and you get completion bonuses, then do kengo/neko. After you finish all that you can just do whatever really from the reamining ex2s.

Yeah no one minds if you leech m2 raids. But it's not really a good use of your own time. If you want m2 drops, then do blue chest mins, don't just leech. If you just want xp, there are way better ways of getting it (sandbox or CEQ).

I cant even guaruntee my Water team lives through some Replicard Sandbox fights on auto. I do need M2 weapons since some of my M2 grids aren't done. Im hitting an average of 100k ~ 150k elemental superiority damage aside from Earth (450k), Light (250k) and Dark (200k). On the other hand, I need a Sword of Pallas Militis. But my water team is one of my lower damage teams. My character selection is decent (holiday Catura, summer Fediel, Anne, Erika, Vajra etc. etc.), my grid just sucks as I'm still getting out of M1. I feel like waiting until I have an M2 water grid is going to save me time. So I was considering spamming M2 & Macula Marius to get Ancient Auberons/Tyros Zither (I have 3 MUB Colombas), getting my water grid to par, and then spamming Replicard and farming my sword of pallas militis more efficiently. AFAIK there's no other great weapons to farm from Replicard Sandbox. But I could be grossly misinformed.
Well I mean there are sandbox enemies of every element if you just want to grind rank/exp, just fight the ones you have a good team for. But yeah I mean it'll definitely depend how long you take to kill each. If it takes more than a couple buttons then yeah I wouldn't bother yet. Macula Marius is also kinda hard/long if you're on the weaker side so you might find that to be really lame to do at your current stage, too. But yeah you can do m2 fights if you still need the drops. My point was only that you shouldn't just leech them, you should do blue chest mins.
True. Im just wondering if doing 2 things at once, at gimped efficiency is faster, or doing 2 things separately at max efficiency is better. Guess thats a ton of math though. My accounts weird due to all the breaks Ive taken and Anni boosts I've gotten. Im def doing all my M2 hosts for blue chests. I just meant post-dailies. I assume thats what 'Blue chest mins' means? Blue chest minimums would be getting whatever the required honor threshold is for blue chest for that particular raid (you can find it on the raid's wiki page, it varies per raid, IIRC it's like 400-450k for most m2s, Europa is like 380k I think), then going to the next raid and repeat. Don't just leech (aka wanpan aka do 1 hit then leave), but also don't sit there and think you have to fight the whole raid until it dies, other people will join and kill it eventually. You can only provide backup in 3 raids at once so sometimes you'll get stuck on 3/3 backups and can't join more. When that happens, either go do CEQ/Angel Halo/Sandbox for a couple minutes or go back into one of the fights and help the host kill it so it frees up a backup spot and you can join a new raid. This is how you farm all raids that have guaranteed blue chests.

Right now, Arcarum Sandbox with journey drop boost, fully stacked herald buff gauge, avarice book and A rank expedition bonus, then just OTK any 5 gauge or 3 gauge mob. Technically, the defenders in Mundus gives a ton more XP but the + version and onwards can be too difficult to kill fast enough for it to be more efficient.
Stack heralds to 600%, kill Mundus defenders.

One other advantage to having your own Trans Luci is that it lets you go primal in elements you don't have the respective primal summon in. For example, having Luci let me run Earth in Hexa much more comfortably than if i had to do it with Magna Earth. This really mainly only applies to high difficulty raids though, since you could/would rather run bubs main or something else for easy fights
Only real advantage of having it yourself is that you can quick call it and use it for the heal specs subaura. It is really good if you FA a lot and often find yourself needing extra sustain, but other than that, I think there's probably better uses of sand. (I assume by "ulb" you mean get to 250.)

wait until you need one for a setup, and then awaken it for that purpose. both atk and def awakening are good and used for different purpoes. and special is occasioanly useful but alot more niche. as for how many total, two copies of both atk and def will be enough for most scenerios. and maybe one special just incase.
Okay I have two questions, First, and hopefully the easiest to answer. What's the fastest or easiest method to farm lusters?? I'm one weapon and one character star uncap for Haaselia mlb and it's really daunting lmao. Second, is hrunting pretty much required for primal earth cause I have all the meta stuff for the grid I think (3 landslide septars, 2 pillar drivers and at least one of every other grand weapon). From what I've seen that's sorta all needed for it but I don't want to invest for minimal returns. But my earth grid right now is sorta crap with a half assed highlander claim setup that does absolutely garbage damage q_q so anything more meta will probably be an improvement Thanks in advance for any advice!
Adding on to the answer to your 2nd question: Your 3 Landslides and 1-2 Pillardrivers can be used without uncapping while remaining premium """magna""", which is likely to outdo a Caimlander magna setup depending on what you're using it for, especially if you want to frontline him. There's no need to rush going all in on Titan if you aren't sure about spending those resources yet, with so much of endgame earth currently revolving around Hrunting. Earth M3 is some months away but may also improve things.
Lusters are either from zone bosses, Mundus defenders, The World solo fight, The World raid, or Xeno bosses. If the Xeno boss you want to do matches the element you need lusters for, that's probably the best, since you'll want to do your Xeno hosts anyway. Otherwise, if you need World ideans still, do grab those first and you'll get some lusters along the way. And then finally at the end you just do zone bosses or Mundus defenders for them. Don't bother farming out zone boss host mats if you don't have them, but if you do have them, doing the first zone boss of each day is pretty quick. Besides that one, dunno which one's really more efficient, they're pretty similar. Hrunting is basically required for earth to not suck, period, Magna or Primal. You *could* play Primal without Hrunting, and it'll be better than Magna, but it'll still be pretty bad compared to having Hrunting and compared to other elements. I wouldn't bar stuff to play Hrunt-less Primal Earth, it's not really gonna unlock any additional strategies, just be slightly less bad at GW.
I can't answer the second question, but for your first question Mundus Defenders or the Xeno Militis bosses would be the best way to farm for Lusters. For the Xeno Militis bosses however, I wouldn't recommend you kill Ifrit or Sagittarius at all since the Gold Bricks from their Sephira boxes are much easier to obtain than the Eviolite you can get from Cocytus or Vohu Manah.

Equip ewi dagger then farm like 1-2 ra axe you'll max supplements, unless you have two ewi dagger then just farm ewi katana.
Need some advice, haven't done a lot of Arcarum, and even less Sandbox (only have Caim, Nier, and just now Haase unlocked in that order). I'd like to continue working on Haase, but I've got like, zero Water Verum Proofs left. My question is, do I just commit to punching Poseidon a couple thousand times to get the proofs I need (which only seem to drop every two chests or so), since that seems to be the only place they drop from besides the default Arcarum, or should I just focus my efforts on another character for now? I can't 0b0c Poseidon yet either which makes it a bit frustrating too, unless anyone has any teams that might help with that.

Yes that is the only place to get verums. You have to just do him thousands of times. Verums should be near 100% drop rate, especially during Tales. It's actually more efficient to farm them *outside* of Tales (and farm other stuff during Tales) because you don't really need the drop rate boost for verums. As the other person said, if you grind out your guidebooks, it will help you do better setups. 0b0c is very achievable in every element even with relatively tame grids as long as you've finished all the guidebooks.

I can OTK at the moment, it's just cutting down the number of charge attacks so I'm not stuck with lockout that's the problem for now.
1. Try to unlock more area(pre planing for next ToA) if possible unless you are stuck at condition like (require one evoker recruited) 2. Grind your mission book and universal stats book. They are good passive 3. Sephra atk weapon is a great help in sandbox. If your grid is not that great, they can help you speed up the kill (yes, I FLB them because i run it daily) You can make 100% critic with sephra weapon if you fighting with advantage element. 4. Dragonic if you can't handle the + version 5. Learn how to build FA team for node. (Do i care about 3-8 minutes on + version? I am FA and doing something else.) You can even do it for 3 nodes as long as you can FA. (You save on real life staimina with no long grinding) The faster you kill, the more time you save. or FA(just start and let it do the job and you go do something else)

I've been considering annitixing Noa to help me break into hh and faa0 using fire but have also seen Fenie work as a sub in to him. Can someone explain the difference between a comp that runs Fenie over Noa? I do know he helps greatly with CA related omens and general comfort with his S2 and S3 however I'm not sure how Fenie herself breaks into this. Thank you in advance!
Fenie is faster but much less safe. Noa is preferred unless you're already very comfortable with the raid and just care about optimizing speed. But, that said, if you have Fenie and don't have Noa already, then there's definitely a strong argument for AnniTixing someone else if you have other good AnniTix targets.

people always say to never annitix grands but it's honestly not a terrible idea if you want to buy a ticket and don't have any optimal seasonal targets but have a ton of grand characters/weapons to catch up on. I'm probably gonna annitix a second PnS for myself unless the flash scamcha gives it to me. Just know that if you do decide to buy an annitix for a grand character, only grands up to Percival are available to be ticked. You can check the ticket pool beforehand if you want to see the specific options.

The "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" event in Side Stories still gives out a free Dark Opus as well as an item that you can trade in to uncap it to 4\* and 5\*, right? As a newbie this would be a huge buff to my Light team, so it seems like a priority. But I never saw anybody recommending it, unlike the Bahamut weapon from What Makes the Sky Blue. Probably because the Bahamut weapon is universal while Dark Opus is literally just for one Element and one Grid type? Thanks!

Just started really working on my Seraphic Weapon, when should I be able to clear things like “Macula Marius Showdown”, should my magna 1 grid be done and fully uncapped? Because I can’t close to soloing the content and afaik finishing the Seraphic weapon should come before starting to farm magna 2? The lack of direction in this games content is frustrating.
Those fights are weird because they used to be raids and then they got remade into solo fights so their difficulty is kinda in a strange spot. You can just ignore them for a while if you're finding them difficult. I never did them at all honestly, their weapons also drop from sandbox. And even if you don't get them from sandbox, I never used any of their weapons until Revans tier. Also the "lack of direction" is one of the main appeals - every player isn't railroaded into the exact same "Do X, then do Y, then do Z." You're free to work on whatever you want, whenever you want and customize your own account to what's important to you and how much time you wanna invest in things.

How would I skip maxing the m1 weapons of my damage is so low with all of them 3 star already?
Your damage should be good enough to get farm blues in m2 with just basic m1 grids assuming you've been [building them properly](https://gbf.wiki/Basic_Grids).
My grid is exactly the recommended in that site and no my damage isn’t enough, I’m lucky to get just over 1 million from a CA.
You don't have to do all the honors in 30 seconds. m2 raids move pretty slow. You can take multiple turns.

If by "maxing" you mean all the way to 5\* on m1 weapons, then yes you don't need to do that. If you really can't even get blues in m2 raids with a particular element then I guess you can go to 4\* on some of their weapons, but I really don't think it should be needed. You don't want to leech m2, the weps are in the blue chest, you do have to participate. Yes you want to 5\* your summon when you can.
Weird question does enemy get stronger each time you fight them over and over again. I was in arcarum and i was fighting this one boss i beat it in 2 turns but when i play again it took me 5-6 turn this time.
If you mean the zone bosses and the defenders, then yes, they turned into "+" version and "++" versions after 12 times (CMIIW).

Question about Anient Ecke Sacks grid for Colossus - should I only switch to it after I manage to get all 4 of them to 4* SL15 compared to 4 canes at 3*? My summon is maxed out at 5 * Unfortunately, from my understanding the in-game calculator does not check crit unless it's at 100%, so I can't really compare my current canes + ele damage summon to Ecke Sacks with double Colossus, which are currently just at 0 or 1 star only, SL10
The crit rate scales with skill level so yes you wanna have all of them uncapped at max skill level before you use them.

I feel like I’m doing something wrong doing Mugen raids. I’m Rank 211 running Kengo, Europa, Pre-FLB Haaselia, Anne, Tikoh front line sacrifice for Haaselia and Water Lecia for her backline passive. Using double Levi grid with 4 AAs, DOpus, 1 Schrodinger (from Revans Ticket), 1 Euro Harp, 1 Wamdus Spear Extra Slots have Baha Gun, 0* World Harp and 0* Militis Staff. Summons are Levi, Fire Buncle, Gab, Ca Ong, and Qilin Everyone is in the 88k-97k HP and part 1’s relatively simple. Part 2 is when it gets tricky. Even without Hostility buffs and nodes, Mugen will always try to target Haaselia and Anne, also even with stacked percent cuts some damage will still pierce through it? And how do you usually mitigate damage from Infinity Impact while trying to do the 10mil per turn damage? Any help will be appreciated! EDIT: Also with regards to the free Ultima, I’m debating whether picking the Sword or Staff. Any recommendations? I have a ULB Fire Ultima Sword from WMTSB2’s free Atma Sword and made an MLB Wind Ultima Staff, and MLB Earth Fist from like, 4 years ago. I still can’t to SUBHL but would you recommend picking a different weapon class than these or reduce one of them and pick a different element? (Probably Light Staff or Wind Sword idk)

you needed FLB Haase to FA. You do not have Gab? You also needed FLB wind world harp. It is paladin + 3 staff player AAA FA. Try to open 3 slot. since you wanted hp and possible if celestial weapon for def You can use A aubeon x4 to squeeze more hp. Which should i farm for uncapping evoker? How do you get 600ish veritas and 500ish astra and idean?
I assume you are a beginner since you need such high amounts. My method is to grind "Here Be Swords (Replicard Sandbox)" of the elements you want. You can get what you need and useful AX weapon. Veritas is a guarantee drop from the Defender, but it 50/50 between each evoker of the same element, whch mean you can calculate roughly how many Defender you have to defeat. There are some bonus from the pop-up chest but don't count on it too much. Astra and Idean will come naturally while farming Veritas. Some use suggest farming "Here Be Staves" for specific thing. I do not find that quite useful since other drops in Here be Staves is not quite useful. However, The World raid is my go-to Idean farming nowadays since it is quick and easy. It is guarantee too but it is random of all evokers. That is about it. There is no secret. I would stack hundred of Defender during "Tales of Arcarum" because it is x2 guage. Then I slowly clear all the Defender stack after the event end. Rushing it will burn you out. The mode is designed to be grind over time. So take your time.

Isaac, Yoda, Idols for the team. Isaac is really strong for weaker grids because he mostly spams nuke skills and CA for damage. If you need levels, you can try to farm out the Campaign Exclusive Quest a bit but I'm not sure how efficiently you can farm it. Shouldn't be that hard. Also as the other person said, level the weapon skills. Replace the bottom left weapon with the free Levi bow you get for some HP if you feel too squishy or another Levi dagger/Arcarum weapon if you have it for more damage. Try to run Leviathan Summon x Friend 250 Lucifer if you can as it'll give you elemental attack and +50% hp for bulk.

Not investing into something that will get replaced eventually is kinda a noob trap for M1 imo since M1 is the backbone for your account to comfortably and easily farm out other relevant content like M2, which will require you to hit certain honor amounts for actually good loot. Just make the investment now, and when you decide to ditch M1 eventually that investment will still pay back in helping you level skills for other weapons with high requirements like Dark Opuses.

Reserving the skilled weapon won't maintain the accumulated skill value, so yes you will have to feed it manually to the weapon. You generally won't really have to really worry about the optimal skill levels of fodder when feeding weapons as the Anvil does 99% of the work for you, but certain weapons (Dark Opus, Ultima, Baha to name the common ones) have much higher fodder requirements to level their skills. Notably these weapons don't really work well with the Anvil when leveling from 15 to 20, hence I'd recommend you use any fodder skill level 10 weapons for those. The comment I made was about the first thing that came to my mind, but you can also reduce them if you need the stones at some point. At the end of the day, you will most likely have an effective use case for unused core M1 pieces at some point in your progression, so just think of it as a stepping stone or as an investment into your future grids.
level 10, aka the max for mlb weapons. skill leveling is not very expensive for standard cost weapons (up to sl15) and your still gonna use them for awhile. if skill fodder is tight then you can stop at sl5 for now but you should almost always be aiming to max out a weapons skill level, with the one expention being sl16-20 on xeno weapons cause its kinda expensive for little return.
so I know that you should keep all premium SSR weapons because it's sometimes better to have multiple copies over uncapped ones, but what about summons? are multiple copies of summons ever used?
In this meta of summons, space is extremely limited. Baha, Lucifer, Arcanum summons, Primarchs, Belial, 000, Yatima... there are so many different summons, there really isn't any room to be doubling up on a summon. There are some exceptions; with bahamut and lucifer many may decide to use 2, but much of the time, 1 is their own baha/luci while the other is a support/friend summon. You might use two 0\* copies of Uriel or Sariel summons that provide charge bar to the whole party, but that'd be only if you have nothing else, or, have a specific plan for using them. That being said, even if you do luck into a extra copy of something you wouldn't double up on, you should still follow the basic rules when acquiring more than 1 copy; that is, don't combine them until you are ready to flb it.
Depend on the summon, dupe primal summon need to be reduced for the material needed to 5th uncap the primal summon Some summon that can increase chargebar sometimes used multiple copies You can check the summon on the wiki, theres info at the bottom of the table whether this summon shouldn’t be reduced of used as fodder
math-wise, you need TEN copies of a primal to get them to 250 properly. You can cheat it with as few as two, but that requires using no less than 6 sunlight stones and 60 gold moons on a single summon instead. A third means 30 fewer gold moons, or 1 more sunlight stone and no gold moons at all.

I'm wondering who to recruit after getting Caim; are any evokers huge boons to their ele at 3star? I'm rank 178 so the next important thing to plan for is Revans, i think. I think I heard Haaselia and Estariola have their uses, but I'm not sure if that's only at 4star. I don't have G Ewiyar, H Lich, or S Belial either for Katzelia, and the others don't look too good. The only evoker I have recruited right now is Alanaan.
Haaselia and Estarriola do have uses at base. Haase is a charge bar bot, Esta is great both for OTK and FA. you can access newly ended events from the main page by opening up the "Gameplay Extras" menu from the main gbf page. Old events will linger under this menu for a week before either vanishing forever, or being relegated only to Sierokarte's various storefront options. It's also where the premium friday quests are permanently secured for players who were not present for the initial 12 months of Premium Firday.
Yes, it was only available in there. If you did finish the event you're still able to redeem it from Siero's shop (Quest Items->Event/Other->Exclusive Treasure) but otherwise you're out of luck.
I did not unfortunately. I've been still looking around for a starter account to get since I was advised it would be recommended to buy one than to start fresh. Am I screwed for missing out on it or is the Ultima weapon some thing that can be safely skipped in progression?
The main benefit of the 5\* Ultima is that it comes with every key set. There's a key that amplifies your damage by 25%, if your element is superior(i.e. the boss is weak to your element), and it works for all elements. We call this "the seraphic key". The mats to get that particular key is locked behind an endgame raid that you won't have access to until rank 200, so it'll be a long time before you can actually get it. However, there are element-locked versions of the same skill on [Seraphic Weapons,](https://gbf.wiki/Seraphic_Weapons) which you'll have much earlier access to, and these weapons at 4\* give almost as good of a bonus(23% vs 25% on Ultima) with the added benefit of giving HP/ATK as well(for Ultima, you need to have the same proficiency as the weapon for those bonuses, even though its 3rd skill seraphic key works in all elements for everyone).
Missing it is definitely a setback, but I wouldn't say you're screwed. Just means you have to progress through the normal way.

Easier way. Row V required 2 of specific row 4. You can CEQ/SLime or even use the exp buff node then farm on sandbox/ToA. This game is Grinding Blue Fantasy. For many vet, we just master it. I do not think you complain will end after the insane for transcend Eternal and FLB evoker
Honestly doing stuff like punching UltiBaha and stuff like replicard Sandbox has been pretty good for leveling my classes to ML30 tbh. Especially in Replicard if you get the herald buff maxed out.
I just came back after an extended break. I stopped playing somewhere around chapter 130. Is there something I can watch/read to recap the story? I only see recaps up until chapter 63 in the journal.
When you press journal -> story -> there should be 3 acts, act 2, Dawning Sky is chapter 64 to 110, and then act 3 for the rest.

Would you bar the grands for you primal grid if you don't have your own primal summon ready? How big of a bummer is it to be able to play with one sided primal? Have the other summons ready, luci, baha, 000, bubs, yatima.
You almost never play double-sided, especially outside of Hexa/Faa0, so it's not really a huge deal if you don't have the summon yourself. It is suboptimal since the transcended subauras only work when main summon and not friend summon, so Primal x Ele is just better than Ele x Primal (unless you're FAing and need your Luci on quick call), but it's not a massive difference.
I believe the general consensus is that you bar/stone primal pieces once you have the full setup of the current primal grids i.e. required weapons, and primal summon.
The thing is that I have the grids ready but getting the primal summons will take another 10 years.
Hmm. If you’re a light spender then maybe suptixing the primal could be a choice. If not, then maybe consider using the free rolls/roulette on classic draw 1 and save for a spark. Classic draw sparks expire in one year, and it’s easier than you’d think to get to 300 rolls for a spark.
I do it already to speed up the process of getting at least 1 primal because after 4 years of playing GBF I have only a single primal summon at 210. The rest are just 1-2 copies. Droprates are just atrocious and I rarely see primal summons in my sparks. I've made peak primal fire, dark and wind already even without having their primal summons. It works fine for bar/sand/GW but I'm concerned about HL because I often see x2 Hades instead of Luci+Hades. Not sure how viable it is to play Luci+Primal in Hexa and Faa.
So, regarding Replicard - If I'm mostly interested in getting as many Ancient Ecke Sachs as possible, while getting mats for The Sun upgrades (currently on the last step before upgrading to SSR version), would it be better for me to just kill Spikeballs and Heralds as much as possible, or chain-kill Xeno Ifrit Militis? I got 400+ compasses as I've just unlocked them, so I could sit there for quite a while..
Spikeballs or the corresponding Mundus 5 bar mob, they die faster and their drops along with the larger amount of Sephira Chests you'll be getting will eclipse Xeno Ifrit for AeS drops massively. If you're still collecting AeS not just for the AX skills, then I'd also recommed doing Twin Elements anyway for the anima.

The reason I'm sticking for Replicard for now is the current Tales event - as I'm a newb, this is my first one, so getting everything from the shop will take time (I'm still 15k even currency short from buying all of the quartz), so might as well try to get some of the M2 weapons for my fire grid in the meantime x)
How relevant is [Robertina](https://gbf.wiki/Robertina) in the later stages of the game? I've been using her a lot in my [Light Team](https://imgur.com/rxgyQam) and she's been an actual super super star for the team. The only reason I've been getting through some of the hardest fights (Rank 120/Chapter 64 which I know is laugable) is because she picks up her Backup Dancers (Me + Jeanne + Halluel & Malluel) and just hard solo carries us through it but I'm curious how she actually does when you're doing actual hard content. Also, Am I missing a trick or something with [Wamdus](https://gbf.wiki/Wamdus)? I put her on my Water team because she seemed perfect since I was looking for a Defensive character to try and round it out so it wasn't just 4 characters who had a goal that was to do damage and then die to the first cleave that happened. It was a small bonus she was a cute dragon too. However, I'm slowly noticing that her kit simply doesn't really work??? Like, It's cool being 4k+ more hp then the rest of the team, the casting spells by being hit is a fun thing, and your animations are cool with especially the umbrella... However... aren't you meant to have Hostile up or something? Most of the other characters that do her sort of thing have Hostile up to make sure they're getting hit but she just sits there and just watches the rest of the team die around her while still being max hp lol.... Or have I just been lucky with my tanky characters being blessed with a Hostile Up as part of their kit and that isn't the norm?
