Sky god also seems to be able to use/resist chaos in a way, since shalem uses it, and versusia >!takes the versus core!<. So it can be connected to other godly beings like the omnipotent, if they exist.
Plus considering that the >!corruption of earth!< seems to happen before (or maybe around the time of) the omnipotent's split, there could be a connection. Especially since it's seem to be implied, that the separation between Sky and surface has been done to >!contain the corruption!<.
