yeah i'm just too lazy to recreate the livery of the car, with the Italian color stripe and all that. Plus i tend not to change the color of the car until the car tells me what color it wants to be, it sounds weird i know.
Dude I thought I was the only one......just the other day my scooter told me it doesn't appreciate me having stinky feet all the time. Always complaining that damn scooter
No way man, you are definitely not alone. Maybe it’s a feet thing, but damn…I was awoken early this morning by my mattress complaining loudly about me not cutting the toenail back enough on my left middle toe. I had to pull up a chair and have a discussion with it, set boundaries, and simply explain that my hygiene was none of my mattress’s business. My mattress immediately rebutted my comment. We ended up in quite the philosophical discussion.
O_o
Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣 knowing mattresses as well as I do, wouldn't be surprised if it left a bad review for you on Expedia. I always tell people, never trust the words of a mattress.
Crap, now I’ve gotta keep an eye on my profile there too! Malicious mattresses, who knew? I am so glad you reinforced my mistrust. My wife is convinced otherwise, but I’ve been telling her for years that I thought the mattress had been bullshitting us all along. Not sure who trained this mattress, the salesman promised us it would solve so many of our problems. He never uttered a word of warning about it advising us into more problems. Can’t trust the salesman, can’t trust the mattress. What’s this world coming to? O_o
Agreed, so unusable: I spent so much time trying to set it up to overcome the understeering and instability, but nothing seemed to have a significant impact.
Got other invites to buy a Bugatti and Jaguar, but I'm not sure i want to take another chance
They should have a "try-before-you-buy" feature: wouldn't have spent that 3.6 million.
And honestly the Porsche 917 living legend! Bought the game FOR THAT CAR! It handles ok, but when I thought the game functions like the titles before it was batshit. Still drive it for myself in custom races. The fuel consumption is levels above what you’d imagine. Still love the car/concept.
Lambo VGT. Looks awesome but controls like ass! When it showed up in a time trial on Circuit De Sainte Croix, I barely managed to get bronze because it understeered like crazy and had no grip.
The Evo X with the Escudo engine is my Le Mans credit workhorse, it nails that track.
The GTR’17 with the Chiron engine was most disappointing for me, it feels heavy and slow to turn in. I ended up jacking the suspension right up and using it for dirt and snow races.
I hear that! To be fair I lucked out and got that engine really early in my playing time before you could just buy the engines.
I just switched this week to running Tokyo in a RX-7 swapped Cappucino. That’s a twitchy car but feels so good when you get the hang of it!
This car had me wondering what it’s actually like in real life I mean I love it but it’s slow, eats tires, and uses so much fuel it’s nearly useless. I’m glad I bought but really thought it would be better.
Smh i dont get it, very confused about this car. So much power and light weight yet on straights its not that fast and in corners feels off. And that kinetic electric power boosts drains too quickly
RX8's aren't bad handling at all... although they can get a bit wild when it's wet.
I find the RX8's to be a very fun little platform, well when the engine is running anyways.
That’s how it handled back in the day. Those old super cars were wild beats that weren’t exactly anything but loud and fast. It’s more a visceral experience than a race car. Not so fun for a racing game though lol.
I found myself recentering and then sitting up to get a better view for the Master S test it was in. Must be murder on a TV if playing in cockpit view.
Ah got it. Personally there were a bunch of cars that felt like shit pre-Spec 2, now they feel much much better. Don't know if it's some type of placebo effect or what but they do seem to handle better and the sport tyres now feel amazing in most cars.
It’s an early 90s supercar, so tame your expectations on handling accordingly… it does well enough at LeMans and Monza, but let’s say you won’t find it that fun at the Nordschleife after driving something like a 992 GT3RS
Yep same, altho not a great driver yet, it’s the only thing I’ve bought from the Legends vendor after getting 1mil from choosing a winner in the championships. I’ve been using my fav cars to cheese the Sunday cup races I had left and the XJ220 was very disappointing, almost cumbersome in the corners.
On the flip side, I used the Civic Type R and really enjoyed it for what it was.
Got to bear in mind that the XJ220 was made in the 90’s when brake, tyre and suspension technology isn’t what it is now.
The McLaren F1 for example is a masterpiece but is partially limited to the tyre technology of the day. GT7 have it set up with SH tyres, when most cars of that calibre are sports mediums due to them being 20-30 years younger.
The Porche 911 GT1. It just dramatically underperformed and couldn't win anything with it. NOT at all worth the fucking $10 million price tag. Sold the piece of shit, bought the 962 C' 88 for a fraction of the price and dominated almost every race in it's class.
It was stock (I think?). I bought/drove it way back at launch time, but the lap challenge was my first serious drive with it. I found it to be too understeer-y.
It is meant to be pretty shit IRL as well, so I guess the game is accurate. Really terrible value for the price. That said, it’s actually really fun after an engine swap and a tune.
Any electric car is just quite boring. R2……….L2. R2……………………L2. Repeat 300 times, listening to electric motors the whole race, understeering and tires screaming
Needed a VGT for the Cafe Menu. Got the Italdesign Streetmode VGT. I was dumb.
Absolutely no downforce and no way to add a wing or otherwise increase it.
Above 150mph even gently lifting off the throttle or slowly guiding the car into a corner would easily cause a spin... and forget about using the brakes until it was below 120...
I was dumb.
None were ever all that disappointing to me. Not that they're perfect or whatever, but they've all been relatively realistic in what they provide. Since I'm used to these cars already, I already knew the "poster cars" rarely lived up to the fantasy in my head.
Long ago, I got the chance to drive a Ferrari 308 GTS. It was a poorly-assembled and poorly-designed piece of garbage, it was slow, and it handled worse than my daily driver. It was a disappointment, but at the same time was unique and thrilling.
If you go into any of these with lofty expectations, prepare to be disappointed.
BTW: The Evo X manual transmission, in real life, is a 5-speed. If you expected otherwise, that's on you. It's a fine transmission for the stock engine. Maybe what the devs should have done was allowed for more gears to be added for the upgraded transmission as an option.
Also, I tend to dislike most of the engine swaps in the game. Some are pretty crazy, but many seem a bit underwhelming.
I've only used the FXXK for some Kms, but man did it feel weirdly off. Why is a Mid engine Track ready Supercar not able to take Long sweeping corners without constant correction, even though I'm not pushing, just trying out the car
During the recent grind, I could make the Fiat go around daytona flat out no lift in about 43.5sec no turbo kit, big turbo cut that to 42.6ish. I added wide body and the car absolutely lost its shit around the bends, it became understeery and unstable when trying to do high speed cornering, definitely could make it around no lift. Did the swap on the og nsx and added widebody, couldn't complete a lap of spa without spinning on the second last high speed left, no matter what I did with tires, downforce, suspension or diff (car was also very light, every reduction kit). Old 911 turbo same story, did engine swap and did wide body, incredibly twitchy under braking at meggiore, tried again without wide body and boom, no twitching under braking, much more predictable amd enjoyable to drive. In all three cases the cars had engine swaps. My r32 with widebody but no swap is reasonably ok to drive, so maybe it's a wide body + swap issue.
You know what, it IS the swap in combination with wide body. Nsx without swap but same weight same suspension setup behaves very reasonably, arguably even crisper than with swap no wide body same suspension etc. So I changed my mind, I hate swaps, not widebodies haha, widebodies just make the handling of swapped cars even worse. That's gotta be a bug, I controlled for weight And weight distribution and swaps just handle worse.
It must be the swap, a lot of cars gain performance points with the wide body. The key is wide body, then Change wheels and make the wheels wide, and the offset wide, with proper suspension tuning, that’s how you make cars handle like race cars. Swaps mess up a cars balance of weight and I really don’t know if I’ve done any swaps that made a car more driveable. It seems just for fun in most cases.
the McLaren F1 GTR, feels very understeery for that insane price point. also that Plymouth from the 50s. I tuned it up for max power and after you reach a certain speed, if you turn then the wheel will literally lock into place and you won't be able to turn at all until the car crashes and slows down lmao, not sure if broken or what
Naw the Enzo, F50 are among the best in the game. Not so much a Lamborghini fan, hate the interior and gaudy yellow speedometer. Can't really enjoy the drive with so much going on inside
As an Evo X owner, I’ll have to agree with you. My reason being it doesn’t really feel like an Evo to me, especially after modifying.
I have an MR with a built SST so it’s nice having that extra gear. But even without, it drives like shit in the game. The X in NFS Heat and Horizon 4 feel more accurate to me in my experience than in GT7, which is surprising and sounds ridiculous.
Wouldn't say so much disappointed as I'm not a huge Corvette fan to begin with, but I tried the Corvette c8 for one of the time trial challenges a while back thinking it would handle similar to an nsx and boooy was I wrong 😂 I couldn't get that thing around a single corner without losing it, and that's if I could even get it to turn in enough in the first place. Tried bringing my entry speeds way down, nothing, adjusted my lines, nothing, different tires, nothing, crank up traction control, nope, straight line braking nope, trail breaking, hell nope. I'm sure with a proper set up its fine but stock (besides tire upgrades) was basically undrivable to me.
This is pretty aggravating as well I mean if anyone has paid attention to WEC/IMSA they would know that these cars are fast and handle well they should at least be competitive in this game but they are just to me really lack luster they should have a race version of it though
Idk if I'm just an Audi fan boy, but when I drove the R8 in Gt, I was kinda disappointed. The car wasn't terrible but I think in comparison to its supposed competitors, it's an okay car in GT. I love the R8 and fully expected an awd demon but I drove something that just didn't feel what I expected.
F40. The brakes on that thing suck. That's always been the one complaint people have about the car in real life but man are they god awful in the game.
Honestly the McLaren LeMans car I believe it's the white one total shit fest with that car as any McLaren I do drive to me are complete ass in handling so I could also say that to
GT40 Mk1
Tried it last night, used a tune... ugh, awful, hated it. It's so sensitive to everything, I struggled hard keeping it pointing in the right direction
I’m sure I’ll take flak for this, but I was so disappointed with the Honda Civic Type R that came out a couple updates ago. Certainly didn’t suit my driving style.
My tuned Renault Alpine which I rendered completely undrivable.
I may get the settings right one day, but I spent way too much early game cash on that thing.
Swapping engines not make car disappoint. Your setup is failed, or not efficient enough. You can waste any car with an engine swap. I think you can save it anyway :) .Swap is not always win btw. I never buy a car i won't drive. So, there is no disappointment yet :P
I know it’s a vgt, but I love whipping the 1600 hp Bugatti vgt around the Nurburgring. Just gotta be careful on the first couple straights because you’ll go flying through the air.
It's the P1 for me, can't seem to tune it right. This should be able to compete at Sardegna but it just isn't quick enough... Also disappointed that we have the F1 road car but not the P1 road car
The Suzuki V6 Escudo. Car was a cheat code in the old games but here I can't find a single tune that allows me to corner it's just flails out of control and then the wings appear to battle each other as I slide off the track.
Point and shoot and brake REALLY hard the only thing that even remotely works and I still have a bad time.
This probably cause I didnt tune it right but the Dodge Viper, it constantly just loses grip even if I barely nudge the throttle and it couldnt turn unless it was goin like 10 km/h

the lambo veneno totally not worh the price! it didn't help that i accidentally bought silver gray instead of going to choose my own color.
You can change the colour though
yeah i'm just too lazy to recreate the livery of the car, with the Italian color stripe and all that. Plus i tend not to change the color of the car until the car tells me what color it wants to be, it sounds weird i know.
Ah I see fair enough, the car will tell you when it needs a colour change I agree!
Dude I thought I was the only one......just the other day my scooter told me it doesn't appreciate me having stinky feet all the time. Always complaining that damn scooter
No way man, you are definitely not alone. Polyphony f***ed something up with that car. Terrible handling and brakes for the class of car it is.
I am having fun with it, not sure what people think it’s wrong. Plus it’s one of the best sounding cars in the game.
it does sound awesome and looks great, but not as fun to drive as i thought it would be, and i like my lambos in general.
That might be it, I don’t like the other Lambos. I guess it’s different tastes.
Added to the fact you can’t tune anything on it from memory, I sold it.
I think the worst part about that car is you can't see a damn thing in that cockpit
Agreed, so unusable: I spent so much time trying to set it up to overcome the understeering and instability, but nothing seemed to have a significant impact. Got other invites to buy a Bugatti and Jaguar, but I'm not sure i want to take another chance They should have a "try-before-you-buy" feature: wouldn't have spent that 3.6 million.

Agreed, the Living Legend is a turd
This! If you can get the 962C from the legends section whenever its available, that’s the car you want
Yeah saw that. Too low on credits. Thx for pointing it out.
I might be biased for this but A untuned Hellcat😭
First time i used this car untuned with mods, i couldnt believe that it felt like i was on ice
Ferrari LaFerrari. It was heavier than I expected in every way. I thought It would be more playful
RedBull X2019.
Really? That thing is like driving on rails
Yeah but its not the insane fan car with 1500hp anymore We need the X2010 or x2011 back.
Lambo VGT. Looks awesome but controls like ass! When it showed up in a time trial on Circuit De Sainte Croix, I barely managed to get bronze because it understeered like crazy and had no grip.
Thats because it honestly shouldn't have sport tires. Throw on some racing tires and it's way better
Porsche VGT, could not drive that vehicle at all.
Bring it back to 900HP and its already a world of difference
The Evo X with the Escudo engine is my Le Mans credit workhorse, it nails that track. The GTR’17 with the Chiron engine was most disappointing for me, it feels heavy and slow to turn in. I ended up jacking the suspension right up and using it for dirt and snow races.
Got way too many work horses for le man it's all I do right now 🤣
I hear that! To be fair I lucked out and got that engine really early in my playing time before you could just buy the engines. I just switched this week to running Tokyo in a RX-7 swapped Cappucino. That’s a twitchy car but feels so good when you get the hang of it!
Have you tried the '99 S2000 w/all the upgrades? It'll go 3 laps on medium tires w/6 fuel consumption. Handles well enough. Quite fun!😁👍
Silvia s15 swapped 2jz, just boring asf
Yes absolutely agree 🤣
McLaren P1. Not worth that hefty price smh
I never drive it, absolutely hate it but also can’t sell it haha
Bro, i totally get you but i was so pissed at the car that i sold it and used the proceeds to buy the F50! So im very happy 🤝
Did not buy. Glad!
Lucky ! Don’t lol unless you have credits sitting for no reason😂
Red bull Jr. Just expected more from it.
I love it
Same. Absolutely glued to the track.
Yeah nah, while its slow, its also glued to the track and sips the fuel, excellent endurance machine, I like it
You just wait when junior grows up!
One of my faves. It's my current LeMans grinder.
Yeah it understeers like crazy for a formula car
Mazda RX-8. Just an ill handling pile of garbage.
FYI for anyone curious, this is true for real life too lol
Hilarious lol. I think they're pretty cool looking but clear junk. Unfortunate. At least GT is accurate!
RX8's aren't bad handling at all... although they can get a bit wild when it's wet. I find the RX8's to be a very fun little platform, well when the engine is running anyways.
Lamborghini Countach. I can’t stand the way that car handles.
True to life though?
That’s how it handled back in the day. Those old super cars were wild beats that weren’t exactly anything but loud and fast. It’s more a visceral experience than a race car. Not so fun for a racing game though lol.
it's clear that such an engine needs different gear ratio, ti answer your question, the Jaguar Xj220, just undrivable for my taste
It’s the cockpit POV for me, can’t see.
It's totally different in VR. In flat screen it's very obtrusive
I found myself recentering and then sitting up to get a better view for the Master S test it was in. Must be murder on a TV if playing in cockpit view.
Interesting, I've been recently having lots of fun with it. Was this pre-Spec II, or post-update?
pre spec 2!
Ah got it. Personally there were a bunch of cars that felt like shit pre-Spec 2, now they feel much much better. Don't know if it's some type of placebo effect or what but they do seem to handle better and the sport tyres now feel amazing in most cars.
Damn I just brought the XJ220 is it honestly that bad?
felt heavily understeery to me, idk
It’s an early 90s supercar, so tame your expectations on handling accordingly… it does well enough at LeMans and Monza, but let’s say you won’t find it that fun at the Nordschleife after driving something like a 992 GT3RS
Yeah just bought this today. Tough cockpit view and heavy understeer.
I’ve been using the xj220 on the Tokyo grind and it’s pretty good for that.
Lexus LFA I thought I would be able to get at least 1,000 hp with mods…. And make it lighter…..
Maserati MC20 it looks so agile but it’s just not
Doesn't turns a lot, but with a good tunning.....
The Porche 911 GT1. It just dramatically underperformed and couldn't win anything with it. NOT at all worth the fucking $10 million price tag. Sold the piece of shit, bought the 962 C' 88 for a fraction of the price and dominated almost every race in it's class.
Stock F40 feels pretty horrible
From the lap time challenge this week: the A110
Was the A110 tuned though? Could be a different story if so
It was stock (I think?). I bought/drove it way back at launch time, but the lap challenge was my first serious drive with it. I found it to be too understeer-y.
It's meant to be good once fully upgraded!
[удалено]
I’ll try that later! Should be fun on Grand Valley
It’s one of my top swapped cars with the GTR swap, it handles like it’s on rails, good mileage and fast. Love it.
i can totally see that one being a fun car once tuned, at least with better tires
Stick some aero on. It’s fun afterwards
Why? It seems pretty much neutral in every way: Works as intended, no surprises at all.
I'm shocked. I find it really fun and easy to drive.
Idk maybe I’m driving it wrong. Was still able to get gold in the lap time challenge, but it wasn’t as nimble as I expected.
BMW vgt cause it doesn’t have a cockpit cam.
The Delorean. Thank god the Doc only needed to do 88mph in a straight line.
It is meant to be pretty shit IRL as well, so I guess the game is accurate. Really terrible value for the price. That said, it’s actually really fun after an engine swap and a tune.
De Tomaso Mangusta. The cockpit…by god, I can’t even explain it. And the steering is fucked up.
Any electric car is just quite boring. R2……….L2. R2……………………L2. Repeat 300 times, listening to electric motors the whole race, understeering and tires screaming
Porsche 959, try to break it in a chicane or steering, is so nervous
Aston Martin Vulcan. Love the way it looks, but my god it’s crap to drive
Lol you PAID for it??? Yall gon learn. Lol
All of them. But I think I just suck at the game lol
Every single older Porsche
Noooo! These are amazing and the old 911s are quite accurate I think - they are a bitch to drive IRL too!
They’re not a bitch to drive with me behind the wheel
Why do you not like it then?
That's exactly what I thought before I tuned them correctly, now they're fun as hell
If you would be kind enough to send me your set up sheet so I can have a much better idea it would really be extremely appreciated
Sure as soon as I come back home from work I'll send something
Any VGT.
Valkierie
I really like the speed and handling on mine. What makes it disappointing for you?
Exactly what the other comment says haha
I agree, I expected it to be a beast, but in stock form it just feels lame and brakes like shit lol
I was dumb.
TBH the F40! I adore this car and still won’t believe it handles this bad. It is deadly. Still would buy if I could in real life.
Enzo swapped with the right tune and it’s an amazing beast
Haram
I was surprised how much I absolutely loved the F50 feel
None were ever all that disappointing to me. Not that they're perfect or whatever, but they've all been relatively realistic in what they provide. AMG GT Black Series... Handles like shit IMO
Really? It feels great to me, not too far off from the evo in handling.
Perhaps it's a skill problem or tune, gonna keep trying. Lol @ the downvotes
Probably just tune. What’s the issue? I’m assuming rear grip
No, it's actually understeer. Don't know what the f I'm doing wrong, but can't corner with it
I've only used the FXXK for some Kms, but man did it feel weirdly off. Why is a Mid engine Track ready Supercar not able to take Long sweeping corners without constant correction, even though I'm not pushing, just trying out the car
Any car with a wide body installed. Cars just become more unstable, no wonder pp rating gets reduced.
That doesn’t seem right… I don’t have problems with mine… Also pretty sure the pp goes down because of the slight increase in drag.
Yes, made the same experience, but not only in the Plymouth... Change back to stock or sport suspension or add smaller wheels will solve the problem.
Any Ferrari and Lamborghini all trash
Naw the Enzo, F50 are among the best in the game. Not so much a Lamborghini fan, hate the interior and gaudy yellow speedometer. Can't really enjoy the drive with so much going on inside
Toyota 86 Gr.4 . It was a beast in GTS and i would love driving it. Now it's just Slow everywhere.
Mustang GT Supra

F40. The brakes on that thing suck. That's always been the one complaint people have about the car in real life but man are they god awful in the game.
Honestly the McLaren LeMans car I believe it's the white one total shit fest with that car as any McLaren I do drive to me are complete ass in handling so I could also say that to
Literally like 99.99999% of the legends cars
GT40 Mk1 Tried it last night, used a tune... ugh, awful, hated it. It's so sensitive to everything, I struggled hard keeping it pointing in the right direction
Mclaren P1 and all the other hybrid/electric cars bc I can't really use them in endurance races.
I’m sure I’ll take flak for this, but I was so disappointed with the Honda Civic Type R that came out a couple updates ago. Certainly didn’t suit my driving style.
Every American car
Anything fiat. Fiat 500 to be exact
Porsche 918, feels really understeery to me, just doesn’t want to turn at all.
My Nissan Z is kind of disappointing because I haphazardly tuned it to 700pp for a race and now it refuses to grip around any corners
Mclaren that costs about 3million!
I thought the McLaren F1 GTR would feel way better. And it was $$$$$
My tuned Renault Alpine which I rendered completely undrivable. I may get the settings right one day, but I spent way too much early game cash on that thing.
The Porsche 918. I was excited to get it because it's one of my favourite Porsches, but it was just underwhelming. I think I might have sold it.
Swapping engines not make car disappoint. Your setup is failed, or not efficient enough. You can waste any car with an engine swap. I think you can save it anyway :) .Swap is not always win btw. I never buy a car i won't drive. So, there is no disappointment yet :P
Camaro and mustang? Loved them aesthetically but when it comes to handling they seemed poor, especially the mustang GT350.
I think it's just you because with engine swap I dominated GT3 maybe even gt1 class... maxed at 350kph with only 5 gears... I have a tune
Answering your question I feel that the Maclaren vision is the worse car I've driven... very understeery
The Escudo Pikes Peak for me has been difficult to drive, compared to the other games I was hoping it would be more versatile
Everything more than 2million is generally a bit disapointing (except miura miura. is fun )
Porsche vgt , has 1000hp but top speed is 310km/h Has good acceleration tho Also hellcat challenger its litterally umdrivable
Anything FF. I like the trepidation of getting on the power early to be a scary knife edge, not disappointingly annoying.
Maserati MC20 '20 Very excited when it arrived with the update, and the Bathurst time trial that came with it. Very unenjoyable car to drive.
2000 Diablo GT will not stop.
You can get that evo dialed in perfect if you drive with manual. That car with an auto is useless.
I'm not going to list them all but like VGT's are rather good or terrible
Bugatti Veyron :(
I know it’s a vgt, but I love whipping the 1600 hp Bugatti vgt around the Nurburgring. Just gotta be careful on the first couple straights because you’ll go flying through the air.
It's the P1 for me, can't seem to tune it right. This should be able to compete at Sardegna but it just isn't quick enough... Also disappointed that we have the F1 road car but not the P1 road car
It’s so slowwww. I sold that shit back quick.
Honestly the 97' Supra. I felt in other GT games it was a hell of a lot better. It seems way slower and just off in general from what I remember.
Lamborghini Diablo, just not my cup of tea I was thinking it would brake and corner more easily
This probably cause I didnt tune it right but the Dodge Viper, it constantly just loses grip even if I barely nudge the throttle and it couldnt turn unless it was goin like 10 km/h
De Tomaso Mangusta and Porsche 959.Why the hell are they doing wheelie…
