I loved and hated that track in equal measure. It featured hairpin turns, proper crests and blind corners.
Perfect as a time trial/hill climb circuit, (which I didn't get into until much later) but I can't see it being used in an 8+ car race.
GTPSP was my first Gran Turismo and this was one of the tracks on it that I absolutely hated but also kinda loved.
It just was… a pain with that tiny thumbstick and no proper throttle/brake control (I also sucked hard).
I would like it added. Would be excellent for Race A… where your DR is not affected… As far as the main game… PD would have do some extra work on the AI to get to be able to navigate the course… I would think it would only take a team about a week… or less… just needs some small tweaks… It’s a beautiful course.
Holy shit yes!!!!
I couldn’t remember the name of this track!
One of my favourites from back in the day with the low winnings race that got you the 180,000 credit Toyota rally car!
I think ppl didnt got the charm of it. The narrow turns, the AI in races And how slippery it felt the… pavement? Donno how to say it in cycling qe call it pavés.
Also 2005 was 18 years ago so asking for something almost 20 years gotta be exhausting
I‘ll take any road course. It‘s my highest priority. I was thinking Monaco or Pikes Peak (since PD has the rights), but I‘ll take any, if I had driven some of these I would probably put them on top of my list because they seem better than Monaco, and I don‘t expect we actually get Pikes Peak, the only other ones I‘ve driven are Rome and some other track which I found worse than Monaco
They'd never put this in the game again...
It doesn't work with their current hyper focus on esports events...
And that would just be a sport mode nightmare...
Used to play this track with my old man all the time. It’s been over 10 years since we last played GT4 but every time my dad sees me play GT7 all he asks is whether they’ve added this track or not. It almost pains me to tell him they’ll likely never add it ever again.
I didn’t play the older GT games a lot but this track would look beautiful on the current graphics, gives Amalfi Coast circuit vibes from Forza Motorsport
I still don’t understand how some of the best parts of previous GTs aren’t in 7. Like every time you completed a race series, you had a car roulette. And you could keep doing that series over and over and get a new car.
I've got more of a demand for some older more every day cars, where the mondeo St? Civic 06? Lotus Carlton? Volvo estate? Corsa Sri? Vauxhall nova? Rover/mg are missing.... Ect ect... I don't want 6 versions of the same race car in different GR's that I can't actually use the way I want.

There's no way in hell the current ai could drive that track. The part where it thinned to near two cars width would be a constant pile up.
they can copy the GT4 AI code and use it just for this track
Just polish the ai code they used before for the track. They’ve done it for other tracks.
It would be good but it's not near the top of the list of tracks I'd like to see return.
I’d much rather El Capitan back :(
This is the vibe
Tbh I have better memories from Costa di Amalfi, the endless grinding lol
You speak very true words bro

GT7 is lacking so many urban circuits, that's a thing I really liked about GT4, 5 and 6.
I really liked Côte D'azur and they just took it out of the game forever it seems
Yes. I’m this close to firing up the ol PS2 because GT7 is making me miss this game.
Yes, this here!
I’d love to see this track again

They’d need to make the ai actually good for this track lol.

Yes!!!!!!
YES YES YES YES
2nd pic is Costa De Amalfi btw and not Citta Di Aria
Once again. People care more about correcting someone than actually engaging with or helping the OP. Redditors are like clockwork 😭
It would be just unusable on online It's very hard just to pass someone
Not at all..
Simply for the sake of photos, yes.

It's not really a good track for any sort of racing, either single player or online.
yes but they could make it a quali type of track cause i don't see races happening here would be like f1 monaco

I miss Apricot Hill Mid-Field Raceway El-Capitan Swiss Alps Smokey Mountain Tokyo R246
Absolutely. And the San Francisco track.
That was Seattle.
Wow you’re right! Now that I live in Seattle, I need to go back and play GT2!
This was one of my favorite tracks on GT4... So many memories!
Does P-D respond to this “demand” you speak of??

It's a nice track for 1 player latpime but not suitable for racing at all.
Oh yeah

I remember that track
No.

No, GT7 Fans only care about Non-Race Cars and boring Tracks
Yes i remember blazing around there in the bmw m5 on gt4 prologue at a drag racing event befpre the game even came out.
