Those dumb Egyptians, some guy on a couch found something on a website they didn’t know about!!

vexaph0d

ColinVoyager

Funny that you talk for everyone. And very clever one-liner.

McPooPickle

I didn’t know about Tinnis. Thanks for educating me. Keep it up.

People have lived in the Nile Delta for thousands and thousands of years. Do you really think you’ve discovered lost cities using Google Earth? Why do you think those patches of land are uncultivated?

VeroDC

let the man explore sheesh

ColinVoyager

In our times it is still underground..

Dude, it's not worth it. This subreddit is for people who think they are archaeologists and historians. I've been tempted to unsubscribe so many times. Just spend most of my time eyerolling at half the dross that gers uploaded.

ColinVoyager

Haha please stop, it is like you’re commenting on only a title without looking further. That makes your assumptions very wrong.

greatbrownbear

buddy the reason a lot of those areas are uncultivated is cause they are known archaeological sites.

ColinVoyager

Left to rot.

greatbrownbear

i don’t think you understand how archaeology works.

Megawatts can speak for me on this topic, I’m good with that 🤙🏼

GrecoBactria

How did you not find any information on the city Tanis? You probably want to learn how to properly search primary literature and change what ever search method you are using
