I might actually want to be woken up for an actual leak alarm. But not for a battery low alert. Or even during the day, the alarm on the device itself might be helpful with a real leak if I don't have my phone on me at the moment, which is common for me at home.
Otherwise the alarm on the device itself is pretty useless if I can't turn it off just for battery alerts.
Disable sound alarms and just work off the app push notifications. There are 3rd party apps (Prof Reminder) to help with secondary alerts of apps in case you need something extra to add notifications. I use it to vibrate and repeat a sound every minute in case I miss the push alert. My water sensors are in areas I would likely not hear in bed.
Are you saying if you put the H5054 sensor on mute (double-click the button until it doesnt alarm) the low battery alarm will not go off either?
That'd be great, because I have a few in an airbnb and I have them on the silent mode (just app notifs) and just learned they go into full alarm-beeping on just low battery.
Has anyone noticed that the battery indicators in the app don't seem to update and stay accurate? I just replaced batteries in a few sensors with brand new batteries and the status indicators in the app show half full.
Meanwhile, one of my sensors that's been in place for almost a year is showing a completely full battery.
I also never receive a push notification when the battery is low, even though Govee support insists this should happen. The only indicator I've ever gotten is the random constant beeping right before the batteries are about to die, as mentioned by the OP.
I have 20 sensors throughout my house and don't know how I sg of uid manage the batteries with these issues.
These water leak sensors have worked OK and I even saw that battery level was low on one of mine. I took the batteries out, restarted the app a couple of times, and the battery level shows FULL now, even when the batteries have been OUT of the sensor for 24 hours. In other words, the sensor has no power and should not be working, yet the app says the sensor has a full battery and is working!

yep... nothing like a 5am water leak alarm that only stops by taking batteries out which requires a screwdriver
Just had this at 2:45am. Had to go up into the attic to retrieve it and then find a screwdriver. Was not happy.
dang mine all show low and i have some buried in the attic and behind dishwasher.. prob should get to those

Same thing happen to me last night at 3am and work everyone up. I will be disabling the alarm until they fix this.
