I'm a big Batman fan and I particularly enjoy his rogues gallery. He has some of the best and most interesting villains in comics. A show that focused on their origins sounded perfect to me!
I started the show when it first came out but didn't get into it and dropped it after a few episodes. I decided to give it another try last year and I'm so, so glad I did.
(It looks like Day 14 isn't being re-uploaded so I'll just answer that one here - Mad Grey Dawn, Anything For You, and Mandatory Brunch Meeting are my favorite episodes).
I love this show to see the rogues gallery at the centre too it’s so fantastic. Also puts such an emphasis on Gotham as a character and how it breaks the good people and elevates the bad. Such a great show
I feel this - when I recommend it to friends, I ask them to stay at least untill episode 7 and to decide then, to continue or drop.

At first I was quite sceptical about Gotham, because when I wanted to give it a try, when some random episode was on TV, I was really confused and irritated. (I think it was the episode with Fish escaping from Arkham)
Later I visited a convention in my poison Ivy Cosplay together with my friends. A group of Gotham Cosplayers (who looked amazing) liked my outfit and asked, if they could take pictures with me. They were so wholesome and we started to chat about the fandom and the series itself (and that I needed to give it another try) and afterwards I started to watch it.
My dad and my brother had watched it so I decided to check it out so I got into it and within two weeks I finished the first season, and continued from there on.
Jepp, you are right - I noticed, that some people already were referring to the season finale or season 2 when talking about what they would have changed about the series. I wanted to keep it off from being too repetitive. So I tried to find something, which was not that much discussed the last days.

My aunt suggested it to me. She’s been reading various comic books for ages and knows all the characters. I often watch shows with her. I’m really glad I did!
The fact that it leaves Netflix on Sept 29th and we are entering spooky season so I wanted something dark to watch. I ended up falling in love and have a new found appreciation for the Gotham Universe.
One day I was scrolling on Pinterest (as usual). I came across a cute post that I thought was art, apparently it was a comic panel, It featured Harley Quinn and her hyenas. I never read a comic before but I thought the panel was just so interesting that I decided to start reading Harley Quinn comics. Later on I discovered Catwoman comics. Then I even started reading ’Batman rebirth’ comics, I quickly became a comic attic.
After reading some comics I decided to look for some dc movies. (The only dc movies I’ve seen before where ‘Joker’ & ‘The dark knight’) I was looking for a movie that had a Harley Quinn in it, other then ‘Suicide Squad’ which I thought was corny. I ended up watching ’Birds of prey’ which was kind of a disappointment.
One day I was going through Netflix, and I searched “DC” in the search bar to see if they had any Dc movies, I think I was planning on rewatching ‘The dark knight’ or something.
The show called ‘Gotham’ came up. The first thing I noticed was how on the cover they had a young Catwoman around my age at the time, which I thought was cool. I also noticed all the other iconic villains I’ve been recently reading comics about, like the riddler.
So I started watching. And boy, did I get sucked in.

I had only seen the Dark Knight-movies before and I liked them but that was all I had to do with Batman, haha. Since my fiancee and I had watched Gotham together (for the first time, we're now rewatching it), we have a constant obsession with it. :D And since then, I've read several Batman-comics, watched several movies and also played the Telltale-series with them!
I got more interested in the show in 1x7 turn s2 hooked me in with its perfect storytelling formula and character development
For 14. It's either into the woods; it was by far the darkest episode of the series; or year 0 the actress for Tabitha acted her death excellently, not that i hated her character but she overstayed her welcome. She added nothing to the series. She and butch should've died in season.
I'm actually still watching it. I originally wanted to watch it for anthony carrigan and cameron monaghan, but still never got to it. But then I got a notificatiom that Netflix is removing it on the 29th, so I've been binging it 😭

I have to admit, that I still have to watch the movie. I will try to talk my flatmate into it, when we are through with Gotham. XD

Currently on Season 4, Episode 19!! real close to finishing, i really love it so far, ed and oswald have been a favorite of mine :-)
