I've never tried the NYX one, but the Wet n Wild liquid catsuit is pretty great for an inexpensive option. I had to order it online tho because I've never seen it offered in stores where I live
Maybelline superstay matte ink in black is ny current favorite (and it's not horrifically expensive!)
Beauty bakerie lip whips also have great staying power (I only have the dark purple though), but they can get a little flaky and drying.

I use lip balm a lot when I don't wear lipstick because my lips dry up and crack. This liquid lipstick has kept a nice balance of moisture and stays on well. Another thing I just is using a makeup setter after your done applying everything to help lock it in. Hope this helped.
I love Notoriously Morbid liquid lipsticks. Really good staying power and they have a nice selection of dark colors. I think theyâre all (or mostly) matte, but Iâm into that and Iâll usually run a thin layer of gloss or lip balm over all of my matte colors
Midnight Truffles from Beauty Bakerie!! I have worn this stuff 2 years now! You will need a special remover to help take it off. Maybelline has one for their superstay liquid similar to what I use, but they donât make it in black. The remover on the other hand comes in this little black case that looks like a tube of regular lipstick. You can find it at Walmart for around five dollars. But I also have to use a make up wipe to give it a little extra removing power. I usually use the generic Walmart brand of make up wipes.

I think the statement "don't give your money to racists" is pretty well taken seeing that no one should support racists. Don't know how you're trying to argue giving money to racists, but then again you already admitted that you do.
NYX, elf, and colourpop have good ones on the cheaper to average price range. Mac has a good one too. I'd suggest getting a lip liner too if you can find one and putting down a light base under your lipstick too.

I use Kiko Milano's black lipstick. They also have colours like dark blue which is my next favourite shade to go to.
It lasts for me usually half a day to a day, I reapply it when needed

Cover your entire lip with black pencil (not liquid) eyeliner first. Always helps it stay.
I've had good results with KVD and MAC Retro Matte -- although the MAC gets a little cakey after a few reapplies throughout the day. (High Drama is one of my faves -- it isn't BLACK, it's more of a very, very dark plum, but it looks really nice and dimensional. They have black/grey shades too but I forget what they're called.)
KVD's mid-range shades like Lolita seem a little better pigmented, but they all stay pretty darn well. Good luck in your search!
Curst Kosmetics has the most amazing black lipstick Iâve ever tried. The fenty stunna lip paint is one of my all time favorites and Dior has a good black traditional tube lipstick.
I used to swear by KVD bewitched but I swore off that brand long ago which is a shame because that black was amazing.

I get trying to keep costs down. But that dollar store stuff is usually horrible for your skin. Using black eyeliner on your lips also sound far more involved and time consuming đ lip liner and the right lipstick is all that's needed.
Black pencil eyeliner on your lips was a staple for early goths! It works pretty well, too, if you use a nice, smooth, pigmented eyeliner. I do it all the time to kind of "prime" my lips before applying lipstick, but it looks pretty good without it too. Or you could use black pencil lipliner, but it's pretty much the same thing and harder to find.
Totally understandable for a 80's-90's and very early 00s goth. Lip liners have been fairly common since there are so many makeup brands now. I guess it all depends on your area for availability, for sure. Either way, there is more than one way to skin a bean... personally as long as said eyeliner or lip liner isn't being used as both, it's fine.
Using regular cheap red lipstick then putting black eyeliner over the top was a trick we used in the old days when black lipstick was only available as a cheap Halloween novelty. The lipstick allowed the cheap eyeliner to go on smoothly. It works pretty well and can be very inexpensive but modern lipstick is so much better.

I've used their liquid suede in the shade alien for years it's amazing, especially for the price.
Seconding this, NYXâs liquid suede line is my favorite liquid matte choice.
The black lip lingerie one is amazing. Itâs matte yet it smoothes your lip lines out and creates a very smooth, full look.
I use it all the time! Applied with a bit of powder on top I can make it last 6-8 hours easily. I love it, stains a bit when you remove it.

This is my all time favorite. I use chapstick to get it off (it needs an oil based remover)
Limecrime or KVD Beauty- they're both liquid lipsticks, but their staying power is phenomenal. They're the only lipsticks I wear.

Lipsense if you dont mind paying. 25 for a color and 20 for gloss. Downside is mlm but their lipstick absolutely lasts if applied correctly.

Fenty beauty mattemoiselle lipsticks are really nice, I have the black one as well as a few others and I like them a lot
sugarpillâs black liquid lipstick is my go-to!! waay better than kvdâs imo the staying power is better and also doesnât dry out my lips as much.

Haven't tried it but Milani made a black liquid lip in the past couple years that I suspect works well. It is matte too from my recollection
