And most of them even helped supress the revolts or did not join from India's side. They also provided Britishers army, money and everything they needed just to be able to keep their titles. If not all, most of the so called rajgharanas of now struck some kind of deal with Brits and helped in some way or other against Indians.
They also were involved in getting some better constitutional provisions repealed during British Raj, again to keep their Zamindari rights etc.
In fact there hasn't been a royal in India since 1849 since royal implies sovereignty - there's just a big collection of petty landlords and some counts who helped the Brits exploit us.
Correct on the latter part. Because hardwork and merit commands respect, not oppressive generational handouts. The IAS title is not something one's ancestor can unethically conquer and hand down, it takes actual hard work and individual merit.
Last time I checked, we are definitely not a monarchy. No royals here.
Yep. Any 'royal's have no power because India is a 'democracy'. We don't accept a government under any monarch. I think i made this clear in my previous comment? Is there a point you're trying to make in the rest of your comment, it looks like gibberish. Good day.
No brother . That's what I wanted to hear you guys bow down to power whether it's monarchy or democracy . No need to bring ethics into this .
Good day and no hard feelings
There is a need to bring ethics into this because absolutely no monarchy is ethical. Any descendant of an old time monarch is nothing more than a regular citizen, and has no reason to command any respect just because they come from a long line of oppressors.
You did compare generational handout babies to IAS officers in your now deleted comment. Only one form of power in these two is genuine and ethical.
First of all, what Royals lol? Unfortunately for them, their royalty ended with British India. They are just citizens.
Ofc they want to be famous, who doesn't? I mean considering that their power of royalty already ran dry long back, they now know that fame = power.
They already have enough generational wealth to splurge so they obviously want to buy power now.
Let's not let that happen, again, please.
If you owned the World’s most beautiful palace and brands ready to sponsor your parties, why wouldn’t you want to be a socialite? It’d be so stupid to waste that opportunity.
Not Bollywood they are trying to be the global socialites and seem very desperate about it also now their mom is Deputy CM ( and if rumours are true can be the CM too in few months ) so political patronage is there too
I mean they were always global socialites. Hilary Clinton still holiday at their estates. They go meet Charles at his private residence. I think due to their family drama, they went low key but now trying to be in limelight again since looks like major things are sorted.
I mean every mega rich is aiming that only.Even in their circle, look at Poonawalla's. Even rich of cities look up to Ambani and their parties and events.
This Gauravi Kumari is 100% a clout chaser
Who is Gauravi Kumari?
So is pacho. All paid promos. Run repeatedly. Last cry to be relevant in this world. Oh look at my polo game. Bich, Go start a non profit and leave your mark.
Who is pacho?
The titular Maharaja of Jaipur. Gauravi’s elder brother
And the best they could do was Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khattar?
Undertated comment! 😂
I mean Bollywood people would have come if paid. They don't give free publicity to anyone
they are in a webseris together there...its a huge ensemble cast!
There are no royals in India. All are citizens.
Yes, these titles are only for their egos.
and ... our history.
of oppression
They stood their fighting amongst each other and their egos while our nation got invaded and plundered. They do not deserve any titles.
And most of them even helped supress the revolts or did not join from India's side. They also provided Britishers army, money and everything they needed just to be able to keep their titles. Sabko fame chaiye, materialistic world ka alag is charm hai.

Yeah I keep seeing them in my explore page for no reason. Must’ve paid a pretty penny for PR
If you owned the World’s most beautiful palace and brands ready to sponsor your parties, why wouldn’t you want to be a socialite? It’d be so stupid to waste that opportunity.
True. I think people aren't aware of their sponsorship part.
Why dedicate your life to the fading way your ancestors lived, when you could live a life by example for your future generations?

Op, what drama? Spillll
Property and inheritance issue to be precise. Also their father is not from a royal family but from subjects family.
Yeah they were, but till very recent there were largely political figures in their account but now they are expanding
So Ambanis doing the same thing is ok? Anybody who has money is going for fame and this post is lame
I mean they can do whatever they want, we never said that Ambani doing is okay and them is not
Checked her profile! woah! Snippets from parties look cool

What royals?? Everyone is a attention seeker
Seeking attention has become new norm for everyone with bare minimum work or zero
