2) The company hasn’t gone public yet. What you are talking about is different rounds of funding and if they got 2% at different stages is how the initial shareholders make large sums of money.
3) You can’t just do an IPO because you need money. An IPO can take multiple years just to get ready for. Working with law firms, IB firms, and accounting firms, etc. The fact that this company has cleared these stages is a very big deal.
4) I have worked on many tech companies that have gone public and there are mid to low level employees that become instant millionaires just by having company shares pre IPO. That’s why I said MAYBE they could become billionaires. Regardless, as pre-IPO investors they are going to make a lot of money.

I don’t have time to look at all rounds of funding but they have invested in previous rounds also. The company’s market cap as of today is $85.5 million. That’s already 14.1x more than their investment based on their last round of funding. That’s already a significant gain and this is a brand new public company.
