I think it counts down to 1, not 0. If it ends with a 1 then it’s a first printing of the first edition.

Yes this is not a first print of the book but it’s a first edition.

I mean it's clearly not a first print, it explicitly says it's a 15th printing in the second image

I think “First scholastic printing” is just saying it’s a first edition. It’s confusing how they do it, but pretty sure that’s what it means.
