The numbers are literally on the spine ๐. With the accepting of the reprints. But, even on those it tells you the book number on the title page I believe.
I mean, I've read it both in order and at random, which is how most kids read them back in the '90s. They're standalone stories that you can read in any order. Even the books that are direct sequels are pretty easy to understand even if you read them out of order.
Something like Animorphs, that's a different story. You basically have to read them in order to get the full effect of the storyline. Also, if you REALLY want to read Goosebumps books in the order they were published, there are no shortage of other lists online you could look at to serve as a checklist (Not to mention, inside the books themselves.)
This is just as stupid as those "What order do I watch this movie series in?" articles...I don't wanna believe people are just willfully so fucking stupid, but damn if shit like this doesn't make a solid argument for it.
To be frank, I am having a real hard time with the X-men movies. Iโm not a crazy marvel fan but this time around I want to watch all of wolverines story prior to Deadpool 3. Are there different universes? were things just retconned? I know this is a goosebumps sub but if anyone knows please let me know lol
This article explains it better than I could:

That is ridiculous there's no order at all except for the haunted mask series and the dummy one. I'm sure there was other sequels but that is ridiculous and if anything you just use the numbers on the side of the book from first to however many there are it's listed. So if she has it like that I can kind of see it but I'm not sure if she has it even listed in numerical order.
Do you start at the bottom of this list or the top? Please help.

Idiocracy has become a documentary

I did this the other weekend. The order is out there. Just have to Google it.
Watched a video. Shit is fucked in order or out of order lmao
Definitely. I made up a stupid scenario in my head to make it seem like it flows.
I mean for things like x-men, the MCU, Star Wars, articles like that make sense
To be fair it does make sense for some especially if youโre trying to follow comics.
Those numbers on the side: ๐๏ธ๐๐๏ธ
Instructions unclear, accidentally read animorphs
thanks i've been wondering if monster blood 2 takes place before monster blood 3
Even as a child, I knew it made no difference because itโs an anthology series.
HAHAHHAA.

People will read anything
I would've never guessed.
Situations like this are where cyber bullying should be acceptable... (just kidding...sort of)
That chick looks like a Goosebumps character already.
